Only way that could happen is the team blocking for the punter near LOS but flag was thrown by the catch so it's impossible

It's odd. Seems like he is polar opposite of what he was in college. He was a guy who never dropped balls and what up and made tremendous grabs. Not sure what happened to that... Sure he was going against weaker competition but that doesn't explain why all of a sudden he struggled to catch footballs. But I'm thinking Thompson is really holding this WR core back. Stealing time from Foster and McKenzie and dropping big balls in crucial situations. Deonte just is not the same player he was just last year. He needs to be let go.

Ya exactly... That's what I'm saying. It was a mistimed. You had to make that block before he became enganged. Then it's just a legal block. I wouldn't call it dirty unless he just came up behind a player and dove at his legs for no reason. Where there he was trying to make a legal block but he just happened to be enganged at the time.

I mean it was mistimed. He was supposed to dive before he got engaged but was to late. Also atleast that was properly flagged unlike the dirty blindside block on our Kicker.
