I don't like him but the timing of his release seems off... Why release him after one of his better games? Or why even bring him back in the first place?
We should have signed Drew Kaser... We worked him out earlier this season when Corey was struggling.
I don't know why we even resigned him. There are actually pretty good free agent punters available.
Think people are just confused. Especially after how Schmidt played against the Jags. He was awesome. And that one punt he downed at the 1 yard line was terrific.
I'd normally say the same thing but when you look at our schedule the only tough game remaining bis the Patriots... If we can just pull off that upset we are looking at a real playoff probability. The issue is the Ravens. Even if we do run the table they have to lose 3 games even though we are only 2 games behind them due to there win against us. Not sure what happens with a 3 way tie however.
These officials have gotten obvious calls wrong, called every ticky tack call, let a brawl happen... This may be the worst officiating game ever if you take everything into consideration
What were they looking at.... His entire body was down. Knee, foraerm, elbow, hip, chest, balls... Every part of his body. Terrible officiating. NFL may need to replace every ref in this game
It should be common knowledge to know you need a mix of recievers. If you have all big tall recievers then you won't get any separation and DBs would just defend the close routes and not defend the deep ball. If you have all small speedy recievers you will struggle in redzone
I think Sirles can play either RG or RT. He played a bit in the last game. As well as Tellar and that was our best offensive line performance. Even when playing a decent Dline.
We seem pretty solid at DT anyway... Sure Kyle is retiring soon but we have 4 good ones right. Now. Could easily plus either of the Philips into a starting position and draft a guy for depth. Our draft picks have to revolve around offense. I mean we have the best defense in league despite all the turnovers and opposing teams getting the ball in good field position from 3 and outs
When it is as obvious as it was against the Jets then you don't need to earn it. I can understand a borderline call going in favor a big name receiver. But when it's that obvious it's a flag everytime.
Well it's not just a new QB. We had new guys playing on line. Sirles and Tellar. We had faster receivers with Foster, Pryor and McKenzie. And a new backup RB with Murphy. So it wasn't just one new addition. It's amazing how much our offense can open up with better pass protection and recievers who could gain separation.
Think we are gonna be in prime position for N'keal Harry and Aj Brown. I think we are gonna pick in the 7-10 range this year. Maybe Greg Little falls outside the top 5.
