  1. Bad sign. The Saints starting LB’s are decent ( Kiko....I guess qualifies as such), but a vet presence with a solid resume and a recent SB win Should have been able to crack that roster. Maybe he hasn’t healed up or maybe he’s just logged too many miles....
  2. There is no possible way to run the type of schedule that the NBA has in the NFL. They could, possibly, do four hub cities and play the games through those on Saturdays Sundays Mondays and Thursdays, but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as much of a bubble as the NBA has created.
  3. I think that I should clarify. I am aware of his feelings towards the Seahawks management team and also feel that he was extending his middle finger to them and not to the fans whatsoever. However, it comes down to optics and those were bad optics. Although a lot of people around the country believe that Seahawks fans are not a strong fan base, or are bandwagon, a lot of my friends who are hawks fans here in the Pacific Northwest were definitely not elated with his actions. The team has a very strong Fanbase and, in my experience, Is largely quite a knowledgable group. They understood why he did what he did, but they did not understand why he would do it in the way that he did and it showed poorly on his character, despite what he had shown publicly to that point.
  4. Although I am a definite mask wearer and am, if anything, overly cautious in regards to my proximity to others at this time, I think there will be a way to get fans in the seats. It’s gonna be hard and it’s going to really test security measures, but I think they could definitely do some thing with about 20,000 people in a 60,000 seat stadium. The fear that we can all have is what happens when something goes wrong and people stop listening to the measures in place. If there is a giant outbreak out of a football game, it shuts down the opportunity for further attendance and has implications away from the game. That is, more than likely, the fear the NFL and its owners harbour. The press and optics behind that are very undesirable.
  5. To be quite honest, yes. Or rather, it would not surprise me if he did take a bad turn. And, as I stated, does it surprise anybody when somebody with the transgressions that have occurred in their past has an additional transgression? No, it is not a surprise. Earl Thomas also had one heck of an off-season where he was caught naked in bed with his brother and a female . I think we can all agree that’s a bit messed up.
  6. So what you’re saying is that he stuck his middle finger up towards John Schneider and Pete Carroll and the rest of the management team without any fans in attendance? No, that’s not what he did. He stuck his middle finger up directly at the stands when it happened. I’ve seen the video. I know what happened. I also live in the Pacific Northwest and know what that represented to fans. The players who are not willing to live up to the contract which they signed, need to reevaluate their standing. The guy is a major league prima donna. I get tired of guys making millions of dollars playing sports not agreeing to the contracts that they signed themselves. This wasn’t the decision of the management. It was a decision of the player. The management agreed to the contract, the player agreed to the contract and the management honored that contract while the player determined that the contract did not warrant him going to work. In what world is it right for the employee to agree to a contract in the millions of dollars, decide not to show up to work and then get mad at the management about that?
  7. Sorry to have offended your sensitive sensibilities by saying the word “friend”. I guess that, by the tone of your response, you don’t get called that much? Regardless, as someone who follows not just the NFL, but the Seahawks, intensely, I am well aware of what the Fanbase saw and how it was taken. That was a giant middle finger to a bunch of people who are very loyal to that player and it was seen as very offensive by the Seattle Seahawks 12th Man
  8. Appearances my friend. It was done as he was carted off the field and he may have directed it towards management, but there were about 10,000 fans in that direction.
  9. Take a right at the Q anon sites and go right past the Silk Road. It’s on your left.
  10. Who could’ve guessed that the guy who flipped Seattle fans the bird after getting injured two seasons ago would cause a problem on a new team?
  11. I think this one just let them keep up the Bills logo and not even have an expense for signage this year by changing it to a name that isn’t Bills Stadium. That’s just being fiscally responsible right there and we know the Pegulas are no dummies
  12. I would argue that point. I think the left just wants to get some damn votes in and wannabe dictator doesn’t like the idea so he plants the idea through his media talking heads at Fox news and other right wing outlets that this would be the case. Nobody is looking to fake this election from the left. This one is going to be won fair and square as long as it’s run fair and square. The Dems Best case scenario is to reduce voter lethargy and ensure that The vast majority of Americans who are tired of the embarrassment it is an office currently get out and vote.
  13. Frame an opponent? Do you mean having another countries government dig into an email scandal? Or was it the time that someone had an alternate countries government dig into the background of an opponent son?Is that what you’re talking about?
  14. Based on who was coming in, some may not call that corrupt. Some may even called judicious. Corruption is the nepotism and blatant disregard for democracy that is occurring today. So, who is really The most corrupt?
  15. I’m not telling him what he should think, I’m telling him what the reality is of the situation. Trump, despite all of the odd right wing rhetoric that is placed around him by his odd supporters, has decidedly supported groups that are outwardly anti-Semitic and racist. He has supported them verbally and through his beloved tweets. I think you have the situation wrong, you think I have the situation wrong, but you are definitely not right if you are going for Trump as a black voter.
  16. Racial slurs should never be used against somebody, or at all. I can, however, understand vitriol towards a Trump supporter who is voting for someone who has endorsed racist groups. I can just call that person dumb ass not a racial slur.
  17. Most corrupt president?! Wow, that’s a hell of a claim.
  18. Did I miss the handout that they provided? Are they going door to door? Dammit I’ve got to stay home more!
  19. I believe that the previous poster is stating that the Black Lives Matter movement is a political movement and is used to discredit certain factions, including the police. Actually, most particularly the police. He, or she, seems to be interested in having the Black Lives Matter movement include those affected by crime in the democratically lead cities. I can get behind that. So, Black Lives Matter.
  20. I don’t think the guy is uneducated, I just think he’s firmly planted in a position that doesn’t make sense. I think he believes that the Black Lives Matter movement states that Black Lives Matter more. All they’re trying to say is they do matter, but that’s a little bit too far for him to go.
  21. I came on here to see what the MAGA hat wearing clowns thought about Obama’s speech last night and I haven’t been surprised. The speech was eloquent and poignant. Of course, he criticized Trump, deservedly so. However, his big ask was to get out and to vote. If there is a problem with that, you need to look inside and figure out what really makes you an American. Is it a sense of entitlement? Then go out and use the vote you’re entitled to. Is it a sense of pride? Then vote for the candidate that will make you more proud to be an American. If that’s the orange man, and that is your version of who America is, then that’s who you will vote for. Just get out there and vote and exercise your right as a democratic citizen.Denying that was a well prepared and well placed speech during the Democratic national convention just is ridiculous.
  22. That statement would indicate that you even see a future glimpse of contention. I do not and thus appreciate them making poor current investments so as to keep any glimmer of hope they may have at bay.
