  1. To get a player of his caliber this late into FA is pretty remarkable. I never thought we had a shot since he would be commanding top dollar but I think a 1 year chance at a SB and to play with Von again will be ideal. I think we improved along the trenches on both sides of the ball this season which should elivate our chances at the big prize.
  2. Yeah I really liked the Williams pick once I started reading more about him and seeing more games of his in College.
  3. Right but that's also why he isn't being paid 80M for 5 years. He's definitely a disruptor but it doesn't always show up on the stat sheets.
  4. I don't love or hate Ed Oliver, I think people want him to be Chris Jones but if that were the case we probably couldn't come close to affording him. He's signed right now as the 12th highest paid DT in the league and as many of these analysts are saying they think he took a home town discount because they're saying he could have had a big pay day had he waited it out but he loves it here. Also those saying he will be making 17M a season, I'm sure it will be spread out for 5 seasons so more like 13.5M or something to that effect? If you don't like the guy I get it but the contract is not bad at all for a disrupting DT again imo.
  5. Leslie Frazier you have 13 seconds to convince our organization why we should hire you...And go! Also have a long and prosperous retirement.
  6. I don't know what's more laughable, Ross Tucker's posts or that the OP says it's "fair" to rank a 13-3 HC 22nd in the league.
  7. Because he's an excellent player, I'm not saying I wouldn't like to have him on the Bills but people also on this board think we have no weapons which is also laughable, just sayin.
  8. I think the great thing about being a fan of sports is nobody can tell you how to be 1.
  9. My hopeful pleasant surprise is RB Nyheim Hines, this guy has been underused since joining the league but I see him as a faster James White/Kevin Faulk who Brady loved getting the ball to those guys and I hope Ken Dorsey realizes the talent he has in Hines not just as a returner.
  10. He didnt become a billionaire listening to the likes of us that's for sure.
  11. WR Hines Ward of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Not only one of the best WR from that era but was doing it with guys like Kordell Stewart, Mike Tomzack and Tommy Maddox from 1998 until Big Ben came around in 2004. He was also the best blocking WR I've ever seen and probably ever will. DE L.C. Greenwood- Part of the Steel Curtain defense, 78 sacks, had 4 sacks on Roger Staubach in the SB that was a huge part of why they won. It's crazy to me that he isn't in the HOF already. OL Joe Jacoby- huge part of that hogs OL, top notch OL, should have been in long ago and can't think of why he's not?
  12. For me it's barry Sanders and nobody is really close, Jim Brown was not in my era and Walter Payton was at the tail end of his career when I started watching. Barry Sanders was the greatest RB I have ever watched in person, live and I don't think I've seen anyone like him since, Tomlinson was really good but he was also playing behind a pretty awesome OL, Barry had Lomas Brown and a bunch of jags blocking for him and was still the best.
  13. I'm all for building the best OL we can possibly get.
  14. I agree, he's already being annointed as a 10-11 win team.
  15. The Ravens, Rams and Bengals mascots look like they can be in the Wiz 2, you know it's coming.
  16. With Josh Allen we are always contenders for the SB but i feel like this team is it's the best it's been since the 13 seconds but I'd love it if Von Miller were back in week 1 or 2.
  17. Nice, they missed the playoffs with all these guys last year and now have a much worse OL and will do it again this year.
  18. I would have to say yes, he'd be worse than Spencer Brown and he's undersized at 6'4" 304 lbs. but for the most part I was just busting your chops.
  19. He's a mediocre G and you want him on the outside? Do you even like Josh Allen?
  20. If they play him in the slot day 1 he for sure has a chance, there is alot of mouths to feed but he will get a ton of mismatches there.
  21. Solid signings by Beane so far, I've always wanted RB Latavius Murray and now he's a Bill, he ran for 700 yards, 5 TD and a 4.4 YPC average, not bad for a 33 year old. Now with Ford you get a productive DT who came here for less money to get a SB ring, some great motivation there!
  22. I've always liked Murray, if Harris goes down with an injury he can step in especially goaline and short yardage.
