I think they will be improved, I also think they need more talent. -

There were great players available when this started but it's just not a priority evidently. There were excellent players available relatively cheap even, Glasgow and Bulaga would have been my targets, they signed for a million more than they gave DT Butler who was average and will only play part time. I think besides QB the offensive line is the most important group. If there is no push and Josh has little time to throw, which was the case last year, the weapons can only help so much. -

Bulaga signed for 10 mil per, Graham Glasgow for 11. Both of those guys were huge upgrades and hardly high priced. Especially when you are willing to pay 9 mil to an average dt (Butler) to play part time. If allowing the same five guys who comprised a below average line last year to play another year together is 'doing something'..........

Both of the guard positions could be improved upon, those guys are average at best. The Bills line last year was near the very bottom in power running and stuff rate. That measures the ability to gain a yard when needed and how often runs get stuffed for no gain or a loss. In other run block categories they were average at best. Also Josh Allen was tied for last in the league in pocket time at 2.3 secs. That is the time from snap til pocket collapses. -

A good offensive line would go a long way to creating more points as well. People can pretend all they want but the Bills don't have one yet. -
Best WR Trio in the AFC, or in the League?

Josh Allen was tied for last in the league in pocket time at 2.3 seconds. Pocket time is the seconds from snap until pocket collapses. If the Bills want to get the ball down the field to this suddenly top 5 or 10 wr group they need an improved offensive line. For whatever reason it has not been much of a priority this off-season. Morse is the only above average free agent lineman they have acquired in the last 3 years. I don't see much out there still to be had this free agency. A great offensive line elevates every offensive player imo. -
Jefferson can play anywhere on the line evidently. Bills have a pretty solid rotation and depth. I'm more concerned about the o line to be honest. They were not as good a unit as the d line was last year and nothing has been done to change that at all. They are hoping they improve with continuity and experience, I hope they are right.

I don't hate the Butler signing, they overpaid a little perhaps but whatever. They obviously like his potential and hopefully they can bring out the best in him. With Norman and Klein who are coming off poor seasons they must feel that they know how to get them back on track in their system. I hope they are right, we will see.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Turk71 replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You should wake up. If you think that Trump is there to 'drain the swamp' and expose the 'deep state' you are a fool. He is a grifter, a pathological liar, and a conman. His family has cheated this country for generations, greedy ***** criminals every one of them. I couldn't give a ***** about Democrats or Republicans. It's a divide and conquer strategy while the Treasury is looted and the future stolen from our kids. I care about my family and friends and the future of this country. I don't worship a coward who lied to get out of service to his country and likes to act like a tough guy. -

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Ontario (14 million people) has tested more people than the entire United States. I keep hearing about millions of tests being available, now it's just tens of thousands. A different ***** story every week. Doctors everywhere are complaining there is not enough tests. Wtf is going on? This is the most dysfunctional I have ever seen our govt in my 60 years. Who would have thought that appointing ass kissing yes men to important positions instead of qualified people would have repercussions. Who would have thought that lies and wishful thinking don't solve real problems. -

I agree. Bulaga and Glasgow were the guys I was interested in and was just surprised at the reasonable deals they signed. -

T Brian Bulaga signed for just 10 per and G Graham Glasgow for 11 per, They were top 3 free agents at their positions and I really wish the Bills were in on that. A lot of people seem okay with putting the same line out there as last year. I thought the unit was below average and was hoping a stud guard and/or rt were going to be Bills targets. Counting on Ford to make a big leap and the unit to improve significantly based on continuity is a risk. The money they gave to underforming Butler would have gotten one of these guys. Who knows, maybe they tried. It just seems that their focus has been on the d line more than the o line. Don't get me wrong, I think these guys are doing a good job. I'm just concerned the line won't be good enough. We need more defensive tackles.? -
I agree. He is so athletic for his size it would be a shame not to use it.

I'd like to see him get after the QB more in blitz situations.
