Well... this maybe says something about his INT https://theathletic.com/1407189/2019/11/24/seven-observations-from-the-bills-win-ed-oliver-pops-off-the-screen-defense-borders-on-dominant-once-again/ 4. Allen, despite brief mistakes, shows poise and potential ... He wasn’t without his faults, as Allen committed his first interception since Week 5 — though the encouraging part is that there was a great deal of thought behind the interception. “The coverage that I thought they were in was quarters, and their safety was committing to the run. That’s our cue to kind of put it over the top, and my eyes were on (the safety) and I didn’t see the backside safety moving post high,” Allen said. “They disguised it well, they made a play. Obviously it’s one that I want back, but it’s one that I’d probably do again.” The interception isn’t the desired result, but that line of thinking shows the inherent progress Allen is making in diagnosing defenses — needing Denver to disguise it to make the error. It’s a negative and a positive play all at once because he’s thinking through the play at an advanced level, which will teach the quarterback to look for those coverages moving forward. Allen did have another turnover-worthy throw that he got away with but protected the ball otherwise. He continues to shows signs of improvement, even through errors, to help the Bills come away with a victory.

B+/A-. If his INT was because of a bad route by the WR, A-. If it was an errant throw, B+. -
All Roads Lead to the Ukraine

Also... honest question for anyone on the East Coast... why are you still up and posting on a political message board at almost 3 AM on a Friday night/Saturday morning? Keep in mind this is coming from a guy who's about to go to bed at 10 PM on a Friday night -
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/democratic-debate-november-poll/ HOW THE RACE CHANGED Who gained (and lost) support Share of respondents who are considering voting for each candidate Despite Biden’s relatively mediocre marks for his performance, more than half of voters still said they were considering voting for him — and that number actually increased by nearly 2 percentage points post-debate. The biggest winner, though, was clearly Buttigieg, who gained just over 6 points in potential support. Only Sanders experienced a dip in potential support, and it was very small. ... Who voters think can beat Trump Respondents’ estimates of the likelihood, from 0 percent (impossible) to 100 percent (certain), that each candidate would beat Trump if they were the Democratic nominee Finally, we asked respondents to estimate each Democrat’s chances of defeating Trump, from 0 percent (no chance) to 100 percent (certain to win). Going into the debate, as in other general-election polls, Biden was the candidate voters thought was most likely to beat Trump, on average. He still leads on that question after the fifth debate, but, as you can see below, his average rating dropped by almost 2 points. Most other candidates, however, saw their average rating improve. Buttigieg, in particular, gained just over 3 points, while Klobuchar and Steyer saw smaller bumps.

All Roads Lead to the Ukraine

@Deranged Rhino... I'm a little sad at your defense, which is of not just some random citizen, but of the President of our own USA who literally and admittedly withheld evidence and testimony in an investigation of him. Do you truly not believe our President should be held to higher standards that the citizens of our country? Innocent until proven guilty is good for our country because your average citizen citizen just doesn't have the power to withhold real incriminating evidence. Pretty clear Trump does... and did. Keep being fine with a corrupt President though -

"Evidence to sustain it" I honestly hope you will think long and hard about that statement... Funny thing is... nothing was actually debunked... it's just a lie you're propagating from Faux News sister sites like Breitbart and the ilk. You read the report. Trump wasn't exonerated of ANYTHING, was he? Was there a moment that presented evidence suggesting that Trump colluded with Russia was impossible or even unlikely???? Post it. Please. No. Instead what we had were multiple accounts of likely Obstruction of Justice, likely one of the articles in the Articles of Impeachment almost certain to hit the floor in the next month or two. Trump wasn't exonerated of anything, he just withheld testimony and emails--among other things--so he couldn't be found guilty of conspiracy... just potentially obstructing justice. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and refer you to Malcom Gladwell's latest book: Talking to Strangers. What it posits is really the notion of how we read and trust or distrust people and the information we have on them. It brings in everyone from Hitler to Amanda Knox to spies from Cuba to Jerry Sandusky to Bernie Madoff. As I read it I'm constantly reminded of Donald Trump. -
All Roads Lead to the Ukraine

I could make a really long post in response to this, but all my feelings about Donald Trump boil down to one simple statement: The primary thing in Donald Trump's mind is what's good for Donald Trump. That should scare the utter crap out of anyone who has this guy as Commander in Chief. -
Okay. At least you're in the open as a homophobic For clarification... @Deranged Rhino... this poster should further illuminate our most recent misunderstanding on my feelings of favorite candidate vs candidate I felt was most inevitable. PS... Yet you're fine with Donald Trump representing the USA.

Ummm... yah... so US Intelligence confirms RUSSIA has been trying to frame the Ukraine for 2016 Election meddling... Dude!!! Do you guys not realize yet that where you get your news from is so often wildly misleading and ridiculous!!! Unfortunately I will acknowledge this: Trump might be reelected because too many people in our Country deal in these Alternative Facts. Frightening. -
Patriots OR Cowboys this Sunday.
transplantbillsfan replied to CowgirlsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Loathe both teams, but I can't imagine a single Bills fan who would ever root for the Patriots to win this game. -
Yes my personal preferences differ from who I think will win. Buttigueg and Klobuchar are my two FAVORITE candidates. However, I don't think either will win the nomination, though I'll be extremely happy if they do. And yes, I still believe Biden is the clear front-runner, likely winner of the Democratic nomination and next US President starting January 2021. Don't wish me luck... you don't want me to win this bet.
-
Yes I'm still on that train. No he's not my favorite candidate and never was. My rankings are who I like the best as the democratic nominee, not who I THINK will win. That's the context with which I've always talked about Biden. Make sense?
-
See my previous post. I can compartmentalize my own personal feelings about the candidates from those who I think are most likely, and I have always and still do think Biden was/is the most likely Democratic candidate. 1) I disagree with your disagreement 2) This is the ONLY political forum I've EVER gone into, so no.
-
No. No. No. You've completely misunderstood my feelings about Biden. Biden was never my personally favorite candidate--and I've said that a number of times--just the candidate I thought was most likely out of this pack for a number of reasons, including being the "safest" choice and therefore most likely to beat Trump. My personal feelings on who the best candidates haven't ever had Biden even in the top 3. Mayor Pete and Booker were always up there with Harris and Klobuchar flip-flopping in there, though I've had Amy above Harris for a while now. Biden is probably my 5th favorite candidate, followed by Tulsi, Steyer, Yang, Bernie, then Warren. I've been pretty consistent with those feelings.
-
The beautiful thing is that you have your money where your mouth is, so to speak. So I appreciate that these aren't just empty words. We find out which of us was wrong in less than a year
-
I like both. Mayor Pete is my favorite candidate of anyone up there. What part of his platform and ideas are "on the nutty side?" And no, I can't see Lizzie or Bernie becoming centrist. It's why I don't care much for either and why I think either will actually win the Democratic nomination.

Medicare for All seems it's largely on the outs. Even though it's still a central aspect of Warren's and Sander's candidacy, you noticed even they are now hesitant to push any quick, revolutionary change. I don't want Medicare for All, anyway, but that was at least promising from them. Warren explained her wealth tax, which is at least interesting enough and her explanation for it was pretty solid. Booker's response to her tax proposals was likely even better. Biden stressed that it's the Attorney General, not the President who determines something like pursuing charges of Trump. That's a far cry from Trump, who basically uses Barr as a puppet for his own political whims. Also the decriminalization of Mary Jane along with expunging and reversing any previous convictions (wasn't baked last night @Teddy KGB though I appreciate the concern) Pete's discussion of the farmer subsidies in the trade war was interesting and substantive, though Maddow stupidly cut him off. The entire conversation about voter suppression, voter turnout, and making sure everyone is able to vote is very important in a country with such low voter turnout compared to much of the Western world. The general civility towards each other (with a few notable exceptions often involving Gabbard) was refreshing, especially when Klobuchar was given a home run opportunity to slam Mayor Pete, but refused to. Kamala Harris did the same thing once in a similar situation with him. Any emphasis on our efforts to slow/reverse Climate change is always a positive discussion regarding the future. That's what I got off the top of my head

Seems your one of Trump's converted based on your posting. These are the posters that dominate this forum and don't get much true opposition No. We watched the same debate. Clearly we just watched it from 2 different political perspectives. Can't you just admit you're one of the many in this forum so dead set against Democrats that it's giving you tunnel vision... exactly what you accuse your liberal pals like me of. Let's at least be honest here.
-
Although I now understand that this forum needs to be renamed--it's a far cry from the open minded inviting conversations acknowledging both sides and parties it claims to be... this place is strictly red and conservative and anyone blue and progressive is belittled and ignored. Pretty obvious-- I'll give my thoughts. Tonight was a good debate for EVERYONE. First of all, if we voted for President on personality ALONE, Andrew Yang wins, hands down. Love the guy. Not the policies. Warren was kinda pushed into the background which I was happy about (least favorite of the bunch), but she was good when she was speaking. Sanders was great with his witticisms and brashness, though I don't like him as the nominee for all the same reasons I don't particularly like Warren. Amy was really good. I think she's the dark horse in this race. I'd be happy if she won the nomination because I actually think she might be the most steadfast path to beating Trump, but she won't win. Gabbard was very good and represented the Aloha State well with her introduction of Aloha into her closing. The attack on Mayor Pete won't work so well for her, though. Steyer's an afterthought to me. Seems he's up there to push forward his agenda. Fine by me. He's likable enough and it's working. Harris had a good recovery from forgettable to awful debates recently. Booker, I hope, helped propel himself into the December debate. Really thought Booker was fantastic tonight. Pete was just Steady Pete. He's the guy I want as the nominee. He'd be the bold and smart vote of Democratic primary voters. Warren and Sanders would be bold but stupid. Biden had probably his strongest debate tonight. I don't know what people are looking for with him. He's ALWAYS stumbled. He's ALWAYS had gaffes. Throughout his entire career. Debates aren't something he will ever completely dominate. His strength is elsewhere, and it's why he's still going to almost certainly be the overall frontrunner, even after tonight.
-
I'm a bit surprised you're calling me out here. This was Biden's best debate. I guess he's losing the cherry picking of twitter with a couple gaffes...? Biden has ALWAYS had gaffes... throughout his ENTIRE career. Pointing these out are pointless. The difference between him and Trump is that when he makes a mistake in terms of something he says, like he did tonight when he said he was proud to receive the endorsement of the "only" black female senator, he corrects himself given the opportunity, which he quickly did. Trump, by his own admission in his own book, REFUSES to admit he's wrong or mistaken as a practice of exercise of power. It's pathetic. I still don't know who the Democratic nominee is--I honestly think tonight was a strong night for every single candidate, which bodes poorly for Trump--but I know that Biden is far from done and your own ridiculously bipolar feelings on Biden will change with a soft breeze. At least right now I know you're back to the position of Biden not standing a chance as the Democratic nominee... Where will @Deranged Rhino's feelings about Biden be tomorrow???
