I have what might be a dumb question. If the bills were to hire him as some type of assistant coach and pay him his salary, does that count against the cap?

Did you see/hear his interview on Murphs show? You'll wish he was here even more. Great guy. Absolutely loves Buffalo. A small part of me wouldn't mind if he was our back up this year

He's not though. He's a pretty humble, down to earth guy. He's basically everything you'd ever want in a player/qb. I hate the Patriots, don't get me wrong, but I respect Brady for the person he is.

A great example of the disconnection between Murph and Jones is when Jones used to use the term "ball out". Jones would say something like "Tyrod is about to ball out this week" and it had to be explained to Murph for like a week straight what that meant.

The only way the xfl will work is if they take everything that's wrong with the NFL, and keep it out of the xfl. I can't remember the name of the league that losman played in, but it failed because it was litterally the NFL with less talent. If the xfl can shorten games, stop with ridiculous penalties, stop with ridiculous rules, it might stand a chance

Why would anyone here NOT watch it? You spend 4 months of your life hoping that the bills will be good enough to share that stage and then when the season finale of the NFL is on, you refuse? Makes nonsense to me. Yes, I hate the Patriots as much as anyone here, but I'll still watch and enjoy an entertaining(hopefully) game

Jones gave some decent insight on the game of football. I remember after the Carolina game this year where zay dropped the catch at the end, he gave a great breakdown of that play and why it wasn't necessarily tyrods fault (Tyrod was taking almost all the blame) Having said that, he's not the greatest talker, and sometimes I feel like Murph hates his life working next to him. I definitely like(d) the idea of having him with Murph. Gave us a younger voice and an ex player which was kinda cool at times

I'm sure someone already said it, but glad he was able to get to the playoffs with the bills before his career ended
