Also, it wasn’t like the Pats defense was so smothering that WRs weren’t open...guys were open but Josh just wasn’t hitting them consistently enough when the opportunity arose...and I’m sure, knowing his character, he would tell you the same...

And guys, just for the record, it’s ok to criticize players for playing poorly... you don’t have to be scared of someone taking your fan card away lol You can still root for Josh and criticize him at the same time...it’s not a “dis or dat”. ? i feel like there are some fans that feel they just have to toe the line of always praising Allen, and ridiculing those who just want better from their QBS, and point out where he needs to improve.

Mahomes, Watson, and Jackson would have made those throws- that’s what “it” factor looks like to me...now, Allen May someday get to that level, but he is not there yet...

Again...he was 13 for 26...that’s not “it” factor...if it is, we are in trouble...

Sure...because there is no guarantee he will get better...as long as he is not at least a top 15 QB, there should definitely be concern...after all he was the #7 overall pick... The “it” factor would have made those td passes to Knox...

Yup... people give him a pass because it’s his second year- and rightfully so...but make no mistake about it, if he continues to miss open receivers like this next year, you will start to see a lot more bills fans coming out with pitch forks and torches...

I think he’s improving... the problem is he was so raw coming in that the improvement feels like it’s moving at a snails pace...

It was laughable when McD tried to start running out the clock at the BEGINNING of the 4th quarter only up 4 points- no killer instinct...makes me wonder if that whole “play fearless “ mantra was more for him than the team.

Allen does not pass for 300 because of his inconsistent accuracy...like Kurt Warner said, he needs to learn how to become a passer and not just a thrower...

I don’t know any fan that has ever said that Josh hasn’t improved...so I don’t really know what you’re talking about...the stats are pretty clear that Josh has improved. The problem is that Josh was so bad last year that even with his improvements this year, he is STILL a bottom third passer...

End of regulation meaning he scored in the final seconds of the half for the first time-which has always been one of my biggest pet peeves- lack of situational awareness in two minute drill. QBs passing him by in development meaning in his first 10 games Daniel Jones already has a couple 300 yard/4 TD games, as does Murray with 300 yard games and 65% completion...Murray has also had 2 games this year with 3 TD passes to Josh’s 1. (That being said, Josh left 2 passing TDs on the board last night- he should have had 4.

Not according to a lot of posts on this board...I think the fan base may be divided more than you know... i think most fans are rooting for Josh and HOPE that he works out...but I don’t think that most fans think he has already arrived, or are even 100% certain that he ever will...then there is a smaller percentage of bills fans who just think Allen is God and can never do wrong, and they will never criticize him...I thinks that’s a little unrealistic.

Well, stating the obvious, his completion is around last in the NFL...the fact that he requires near perfect mechanics to throw when you have guys like Mahomes, Watson, Jackson and Wilson (all guys the bills had chances to draft) that can complete all kinds of passes throwing off platform is very discouraging....he is two years in and still doesn’t have a season of 60% completion. Now, passing for 300 yards isn’t a stat that tells a whole lot...but when you have rookie QBs doing it with ease and Allen can’t come close to sniffing 300 after 25 games, it makes you question why it’s like “pulling teeth” for him. His situational awareness has been suspect...however I was pleased to finally see him score for the first time at the end of regulation last night... He’s completed 3 deep balls the passed two games which is good...but he still had a handful of overthrows last night that should have been completed and likely would have won the game...and they were just overthrows- they weren’t even close... I think these are all legitimate concerns for people...Josh Allen is requiring a lot of patience, and we aren’t sure if he can get any better than he already is...We are seeing young QBs pass him by and it can certainly be frustrating at times.

Clearly you only cherry pick and choose what to remember of my posts...I’ve always been and continue to be equal opportunity when it comes to Allen- neither a homer nor a hater...when he plays poorly I criticize, when he plays great I praise him for it... Allen being bottom third is not me making it up, it’s his QB rating, QBR, and completion %, among other things that say so...

McD has drafted 3 first round defenders and one first round offensive player...curious to see if McD goes against his bread and butter to draft a first round WR...
