If he did everything you say he does................. he would be a starting QB in the NFL. Case Closed.
He started all his this crap because he became an irrelevant back up QB.
Enough bro. Stop it.
No, he'd still be a starting qb if this country wasn't overrun with closeted and open racists who get sad pants when someone said this country has problems. Of and something about troops or whatever.

Lamar Jackson hasn’t been benched for Blaine Gabbert yet.
Stop it.
How the hell hell would be wipe the floor with Mariota ? Are you drunk ? What does he do better than Mariota or Jackson?
Complete ???? post.
Wins games, throw TDs, doesn't throw ints, and lead his team to back to back NFC championship games and a superbowl appearance. Shall I go on?
Jackson can't even throw a football and Tenn has been a dumpster fire ever since he got there.
The guy who benched him for gabbert was pretty immediately laughed out of the league too. I wouldn't use that as your shining example. -

No agenda whatsoever.
He isn't a starting caliber NFL QB.
Sure he can be a back up, but he isn't worth the headache to be a back up QB.
Again, HE IS NOT A STARTING QB IN THE NFL.
If you think he is worth the headache to an NFL team, then you are the one with the agenda.
Do you think Lamar Jackson or Marcus Mariota are starting NFL QBs? He wipes the floor with both of them.
Btw, blasting all-caps doesn't validate your point. It just makes you look like a jim that can't use the internet. -

Who cares. He chose his bed. Now he lies in it.
And, do you forget that he IS a horrific QB.
If he stepped on a field today he'd be one of the top 35 QBs in the league - minimum. Your take is utterly ridiculous and hides an obvious agenda

Clemson and Alabama, no one else matters. You can write those both in permanent marker for at least the next 2 years as well.

Mason Rudolph becoming the best QB drafted in 2018 seems like a huge stretch for anyone who isn’t an OK State fan.
I think he'll be #2 behind Mayfield.

Like Jay Cutler, but with more leadership skills...
Uh...***** yes
Isn't that just Brett Favre?
He has the same passion and competitiveness
Cutler was at least 3 tiers down from Favre. He was a good overall QB that sometimes played great, but that you could always count on to inevitably choke.

Josh is looking a lot like Jay Cutler but our guy appears to have more leadership skills. I was always amazed that Jay could zip it all over the field with nothing to show for it. During his 2nd season, I'd like to see Josh look more like Brett Favre than Jay. Can he do it??
When josh was drafted I made Upside projections to Cutler ->Elway. I definitely thing he's cut from that mold. but he's still got a long way to go to get to Cutler level. Right now, he's probably closest to Josh Freeman.

I don't understand why people feel the need to drink beer while watching sporting events...
What about whiskey?

You still have to fight the lines. I think it's more of a problem that it's not, because people overdo it outside.

Thats harsh man. The only thing I’ll say is the coaching staff needs to be careful about reigning in Allen’s athletic ability too much. He will naturally become a better NFL QB over time, but don’t make him be a statue in the pocket. If he gets hurt running so be it. He’s smart, he can make good decisions. Let him be the athlete he is
Not allowing a QB to be himself is exactly how the franchise ruined whatever potential Losman and Taylor had.

I only saw his last drive, but he looked pretty good to me, and I don't like the kid.

Horrible Harry running with the 3s and 4s. Wonder if he is a bubble guy and possible cut?
He certainly isn't living up to his likeness.

But that was in college. Can't separate as seen in camp. Has a HS body so needs 1 or 2 years in NFL weight training room to be a capable WR in NFL
That's fine. he has plenty of time. If careers were written by rookie training camp, we wouldn't have quite a few HOFers.

Why are people excited about Sills?
because he scored 33 TDs over 2 years in a major conference with no experience as a WR?

What's the deal with Vosean Joseph? How is he doing...not hearing much.
Do you typically hear about 5th round picks a couple weeks into training camp? Most likely he'll play special teams for a couple years and be out of the league like 90% of 5th round picks, and there's nothing wrong with having him fill that role. anything more is a massive bonus.

Id rather pick first in the draft. With that said, he is not in the league anymore because he just isnt that good.
Why is it people want to act like he is a ProBowl caliber QB. He had one ok season and the rest he was hot garbage.
See, that's where your bias starts to show through. He was objectively not garbage. He had a 59.8 completion % with a 2.5-1 TD/Int ratio over his career on some really bad teams. And those teams did not improve during his benching. In fact SF has kinda been trash since, except for Jimmy G's run 2 years ago to close out the season.
He may not have ended up an all-star or even a starter, but he'd at absolute worst be a top 3 backup in this league with an ability to come in and win games. -

I take it compensation comes in the form of exposure?

Of course not. It is part of contract that players can be cut. It is NOT part of contract that a player can hold out without penalty nor renegotiate contract unless GM agree. If GM wants player to take a cut and refuses the team has the option of trading player (if not no-trade clause in contract) or cutting player making player free agent or subject to contract being assumed by another team.
And I am all for owners making players pay fines repeatedly when they hold out.
Yet you act like it's some moral injustice that they don't show up to play. RBs in particular provide extremely high value over extremely short windows. They have to take advantage before what happened to Gurley and countless other backs inevitably happens to them. If the league wants to fix it, which they don't, they'd do fully guaranteed contracts liek every other sport. It's funny watching the richest sports league act like the poorest.
