The only one who needs to grow up is you . All you can do is write insults and trash analysis..your posts are nearly as terrible as your ability to evaluate the quarterback position . You want the bills first round rookie draft pick to fail you've made that clear . That's not ranting that's facts . You're the last person who should be calling anyone a lunatic . Given the fact you are openly supporting the QB responsible for the two worst starts in NFL history ..that's the definition of lunacy. Have fun with your delusions .
Unabashed hyperbole start to finish. Six QBs have had 7 interceptions in a game and one had 8. No one can take you seriously if you can't communicate in anything but extremes.
Hit the ignore button if my analysis offends your delicate sensibilities, or learn how to have more intelligent conversation without attacking people that disagree with you.

You are by far the worst poster on this board. From making outlandish comparisons like saying peteman is the next drew brees..to saying Peterman wasn't at fault for anything with his ..0.0 rating ..to saying he wasn't at fault for the horrible overthrow to Benjamin when it was clear it was a horrendous throw and the all 22 look just made it worse . The fact you actively root against the bills rookie QB and wish to see him fail is disgusting . You are not a bills fan no real bills fan would think like that.
Grow up. You come off sounding juvenile and completely unintelligent. You grossly mischaracterize my posts and then rant and rave like a lunatic about what you think a real Bills fan should should believe.
I never even heard of you until these threads started.

Hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha WTF are you talking about? You have made 1 MILLION excuses for Peterman, who has been trash in EVERY SECOND of being on an NFL field during real action. #Priceless
News Flash: No one expects Allen to be a Pro Bowler out the gate, he is going to make PLENTY of mistakes. What we want is to have him actually MAKE those mistakes so he can start learning and growing from them NOW. Goff struggled his rookie year, a lot, but that experience and an influx of new players at WR and the OL made him make a big leap the 2nd year.
There is literally NO REASON to waste time on a QB in Peterman who has a 0.0 passer rating this year, NO FIRST DOWNS, 24 Yards of passing with a career EIGHT interceptions in less than 1.5 games worth of time on the field, plus 3 fumbles.
You are my favorite part of the season, please oh please keep posting.
Right, so we want HIM to make mistakes, but not any other quarterbacks. Your bias is so strong it's sickening. I've said over and over and over that I'd prefer that Buffalo had a big time talent that made NP completely expendable, but I don't think Allen has a prayer of being a good NFL QB. Ya know, kind of like how everyone else made up their mind about the other guy.

Those 5 quarters could be argued as the worst in NFL history. He's in year 2 with 2 full camps and he hasn't taken any steps forward. When it's been that bad, like historically bad, it's very reasonable.
Good managers don't leave their players in to get shellacked the way McD allowed Peterman to sit in there after KB coughed up the ball getting his knee destroyed and Dimarco forgot he had hands. The greatest goalies and pitchers of all time have gotten pulled when it just wasn't their day. Their confidence should be a lot more unshakeable than a 5th round rookie.
Allen looked like **** on Sunday, and he looked worse starting against the Bengals. He needed the Browns second unit to put up a decent game. Given how bad this team is, I don't expect him to play any better against the chargers. Of course then we'll just have to blame the team because he throws 60mph fastballs, so why can't they catch?
I can't wait for the littany of excuses that are going to be incoming for boy wonder.

Well, one QB gets 5 quarters and the other gets 62-128 before a judgement is allowed to be made. Seems reasonable.
Given Allen has no idea how to sense pressure or protect himself from dangerous hits, I think it's unlikely he can hold up through the year, and then maybe we need even more time to figure out where he is on the JaMarcus Russell to Brett Favre scale.

0%? Did you fail math?
Timestamps matter. I said NP didn't have a good game after the game when everyone was raving about how great Allen's 60 yard, zero TD performance was against Baltimore in the 4 to quarter of a blowout. Double standards galore

The only one spewing hate is your delusional a**. Rest of us dont "hate" Peterman, we just KNEW he sucks, always sucked, and would still suck once the regular season games started.
You, who have already been shown to be literally the single worst QB evaluator of all time having hitched your "knowledge" to a guy with 8 INTS, 3 Fumbles in about 1 full games worth of playing time, labeled Allen a bust before every touching an NFL football and ROOT AGAINST him in pure hate.
You were massively f-ing wrong about NP, by about as wide of margin as humanly possible, so please spare us all your "analysis" of Allen...because if anything has been proven true, its to believe the EXACT OPPOSITE of anything you say. Actually...now that I think about it, keep hating Allen so we can all be that more confident in his success.
Truth is, no one knows what Allen will or won't be...what we know is the kid is an amazing young man with exceptional physical talent. Can he put it together on the field? Who knows, but he sure as hell has a better shot than Peterman.
Yet you were dead wrong and I was on the money before camp even started. Keep deluding yourself, kid. I like how you're already downplaying your Allen hype. I just hope when this kid busts, this staff takes a QB first overall next year.

The entire season and next year as well at a minimum. The Josh Allen Era begins today!
So he gets two years regardless of outcome. That seems logical.

How many quarters of football are you going to give him if he doesn't light it up? Over or under 5?

Lot's more coaches that don't want to say anything to the public also disappear into oblivion..........Bills have had their share of them.
Just because the greatest preparer, game planner, in-game adjuster and all around highest impact coach in NFL history in Bill Belichick doesn't speak to the media doesn't mean everyone is good enough not to.
But nice of you to mention a couple guys in Green and Mora who put up their fair share of excellent seasons.
Cool Dennis Green fact is that he made the playoffs 8 times in his first 9 seasons.......... with 7 different starting quarterbacks.?
He had more turnover at QB than the Bills have had in the past decade and just went out and won year after year.
And yet he was fired after his outburst and had to wrap up his career in the UFL, because he was radioactive. Don't you think that's telling?

It is only Year 2 of McDermott and I want to punch myself in the face every time he says this -- multiple times when discussing every game. It's his universal way of saying that a player sucked -- without actually saying it.
Other complaints about McD press conferences:
Why doesn't the Buffalo media collectively grow a pair and ask him some tough, direct questions? Frustrate him. Make him uncomfortable. I think they're too worried about their ongoing relationship with him, so they don't ask questions like:
* Coach, why are receivers consistently wide open in the middle of the field? What are you going to do to fix it?
* Why didn't you put Josh Allen in for a Hail Mary from the 45 on the last play of the half? Why?
* Why did you run a draw play on the final play of the game instead of letting Josh Allen throw the ball to the end zone?
* Explain why you punted after the game was already lost and you were in four-down territory.
* Explain how Kyle Williams helps your defense ON THE FIELD.
* Nathan Peterman is the only quarterback in NFL history to throw five interceptions in a half. Also, the Ravens for the first time in franchise history held their opponent (you) to zero first downs in the first half. Don't you think that tells you something about Peterman?
The media dances around every question and has this disgusting air of unearned respect/borderline sympathy. Ask the fu*king questions the fans want the answers to.
It's like you've never seen a sports press conference in your life.
Reporter "Coach, how important was it for your team to get in a rhythm and put up some points before the half?"Coach "It was really important. It's always a good thing to go into the half on a positive note, and we have to carry that momentum over into the second half"

Do you think that the players will respect him if he runs Peterman out there again? Do you think that they all still respect him for doing that yesterday?
Unrelated to what he decides to do, who on the team has the luxury of not respecting him for any reason? The overwhelming majority of the players on this team are lucky to be in the NFL right now, and I can think of at least 10, probably 20 that will probably never play in the NFL again after Buffalo is done with them. There isn't exactly a ton of star power here you have to worry about upsetting.

The two don't have to be mutually exclusive.
Unless he plans on becoming a much better HC he'd be wise to learn how to be a bit more communicative with the public because there is nothing that the bothers the Pegula's like criticism in the media.
Anyone expecting them to ignore it the way the Ford family or the Brown family do haven't been following them.
The public are idiots. Belichick knows this and has given nothing for decades. Most other great coaches are the same. As much as I dislike McD, it's not his job to do the reporters job for them. He's polite to a fault and answers questions. Not getting caught in saying something he shouldn't is a plus in my book.
Coaches that don't do that like Rex, Dennis Greene, and Jim Mora get run out of the league, never to be heard from again. -

You obviously see what you want to see, but you know what you don’t see? Wide receiver seperation. On a lot of the throws that miss, if they were tighter, there is a good chance of a interception. Watch Brady, watch almost every other Qb in this league and what you won’t see is almost every freakin pass has to be in a tight window because their receivers can’t get open to save their lives. It’s unbelievable how little of seperation this group gets on every single play...
Do you agree they played the same way the first half?
-
Benjamin hands down. He tricked his QBs into trusting him, so they threw to him and the lazy goon betrayed them.
-
And where was he when his team needed him late in the 4th? Never spend $23 million on a defender.

Looked at the past several QBs to be inducted in the Hall of Fame. Stunning how rough many started off in their development. The point is that one does not need to sit on the bench, waiting for a decent team be built around him, to start developing under fire.
Brett Favre - Drafted by Atlanta, his first pass in an NFL regular season game resulted in an interception returned for a touchdown. He was 1 for 4 with 0 TDs, 2 INTs and sacked once. Once he got to Green Bay, the Packers were blown out in his first game. He had an up and down season that ended at .500.
Troy Aikman - In his first regular season game (Week 1, 1989), the future Super Bowl MVP went 17 of 35 with no TDs, two INTs, sacked twice and a passer rating of 40.2. He got beat around all season. He even missed five games with a broken finger. He finished the season with nine touchdowns against 18 interceptions while averaging just 5.9 yards per pass. And the Cowboys finished 1-15.
John Elway - He lit it up in his first action, a Week 1 start in 1983. He went 1 of 8 for 14 yards, 0 TDs, a interception, four sacks and a passer rating of 0. He didn't finish the game because of an elbow injury. He did finish his second start, going 9 of 21 for 106 yards, 0 TDs and three sacks. His rookie season saw a 7:14 TD-to-INT ratio and 28 sacks in 11 games. And he had a losing record.
Peyton Manning - His Week 1 was in 1998; 21 of 37 with one touchdown, three interceptions, four sacks and a passer rating of 58.6. He led the Colts to a stellar 3-13 record.
Steve Young won three of his first 19 games with the Bucs. He did just fine once traded, of course, but getting beat down with growing up didn't hurt his long-term career.
Of course, our own Bills finished 4-12 with Jim Kelly in his rookie year.
Does this apply to just one of our QBs?

thanks. almost as valuable to the board as your attempts at defending those int's yesterday.
i'll give you credit. at least yours was good for some comic relief.
How many scoring drives did your savior have in 6 less minutes of football? One? Ok, cool. Glad we dismantled the whole team so hauschka could get a second crack at 3 points.
You'd have an argument if your boy wonder came in and had markedly different results. If you want to hang your hat on a couple first downs, have at it. Neither QB caused this team to get 47 points dropped on them and neither forced the team to be unwilling and unable to run, catch, or block.
Aaron Rodgers wasn't scoring 7 touchdowns to win that game.

I dunno what you thought you proved with those photo's and breakdowns but I can promise you it wasn't what you thought.
it was a fairly pathetic attempt at passing blame..... you are literally the only person on the planet that thinks the long INT over KB was the wr's fault.
Thanks for your contribution.

I’m not looking for a pissing match but in the spirit of “accountability” I would expect you and the other Petermaniacs to have some as well. No one likes to be wrong but we all are sometimes.
I already made my case with photos and breakdowns. If you want to discount detailed and thoughtful replies with one line "nuh-uhs", that's your right, but it makes you look like a simple minded petulant child. That seems to be par for the course around here though.

Ha ha, this may be the day to bury your head in the sand instead of continuing to defend the scrub that you wanted. Today isn’t the day to defend that bum. As a general rule of thumb you can say good things about him after practices and some preseason games. You should avoid defending him after any meaningful NFL action.
4:00 eastern today
I know it's difficult to stay on topic, but this thread and my response have nothing to do with quarterbacks. You wanted to talk about McD, so that's what I did. If you're looking for a pissing match, move along.
