Nice, pick 6 top QB’s then say Tyrod isn’t as good. Do you even hear yourself? NOBODY says Tyrod is top 6, or even close. I’m becoming very tired of you and your agenda.

My agenda is to not have a QB that can't win football games. This is the definition of Tyrod. He can keep you in a game someone else is winning for him, but in his career he's won exactly 2.

  2. Agreed. Look at the list above. Several of those guys are long in the tooth. A year or two left maybe, so what’s that worth? That moves Tyrod up a bit as far as guys I’d want. We are not a SB team this year with the right QB.

Good O-lines rarely make bad QBs good - they just give them more time to make bad decisions. Roethlisberger has had bad lines his whole career, Russel Wilson has the worst line int he league by a mile, Tom Brady hasn't had a good line in a decade. Rodgers lines have almost always been bad, Watson had a bad line, Brees, Rivers, etc.

It takes 5 players to make a good oline. It takes one good QB to drastically reduce their relevance.

  3. Cool new way to hate (intentionally or otherwise)- he made plays he should make, therefore he’s no good. OK, thanks.

Well I was trying to keep the focus on the facts and not incite personal attacks and troll posts like this one. If you ahve a problem with what I said, watch the plays and tell me why it's wrong.

These are SUCCESSFUL plays showing Taylor not maximizing opportunities. If you want proof of the same thing when the play isn't successful I have hundreds to choose from.

  4. Yes throughout today Ive watched probably every pass play somewhere on Twitter. Every film analyst agrees that Tyrod was the last problem. Only here are people thinking he was bad last night. No offense but I dont think you have the knowledge to say when hes missing open receivers or not. I mean I feel the same way about me, and anyone. We dont know the progressions or anything about the play calls. When you complete 29/40 passes with very little time to throw on almost every play I find it hard to believe hes missing wide open receivers all over the field.

Heres Cian Fahey breaking down Tyrods game:

    https://mobile.twitter.com/Cianaf

Several franchise quality throws that he breaks down, before garbage time started.

I dont know if Matthews forgot to play football but hes playing with an injured thumb, dropped a money 4th down pass, and fumbled the ball without contact. He was known for the dropsies in Philly too. I dont think he has a future here, he was thrown into the Darby trade because the Eagles didnt want him.

See I look at his takes and think the videos show evidence of what I'm trying to say:

    * The O'leary play was great, but it's already the beginning of garbage time/go time down by 3 scores

    * The nice matthews catch on the sideline for 10 yards was an open throw when he had Thomas r20 yards downfield on the seam where an outside ball would have been just as safe and a much bigger play. I see big time QBs make that play every week

    * Comeback route to zay jones again he was wide open by five yards but running back to the LOS while O'Leary was also completely open moving towards the endzone

    * TD pass to Zay was fine, but Zay had a 7 yard perimeter around him due to an awesome route. i expect every QB in the league to make that play.

I'm not intentionally trying to hate, I'm just telling you this is a pattern. It's no secret Taylor is a conservative QB, but it's to a detriment. He could still throw safe balls that are more successful that he just doesn't seem to see. He heavily favors wr's whose shoulders are facing him.

  5. You must be a lot of fun to watch games with

I know you mentioned that you thought it was one of Taylor's best games. Honestly not trying to pick a fight on this, but did you go back and rewatch any of our offense to try to break it down?

I was a major Taylor fan. Love his escapability and arm. I've just completely lost faith in his ability to put the team on his back or even capitalize on mismatches that aren't completely blown plays by the opposing team. I mean, did Jordan Matthews just forget how to play football? He's on pace to have his worst season by over 50% in nearly every statistic. The last two years we've been in the bottom five of YAC. I thought most of last year that would have been poor QB play, but then I started paying attention to how many times Taylor throws to guys who are near or completely motionless, so they get swarmed right upon the catch.

What's funny about all of that is he stopped all of those bad habits the final 8 minutes of the game and he looked great from that point on.

  6. No.......THIS is a bait post. And I failed....

No offense, but maybe you weren't paying attention. The people I was watching the game with refused to blame Taylor too, because the line played badly, until i rewinded key plays to show open wrs all over the field that Taylor either didnt trust (because they were covered but open) or couldn't see. Based on the awful batted ball directly into an already raised arm, I seriously believe that Taylor can't at all see over the line and has to rely on repetition and timing to throw to people in the pocket.

  7. He proved it last night. There is no QB in the league who could've done better that TT did last night. Constant pressure, a sieve of an OL...but he kept it calm and cool and did what he could. Hit every damn receiver he had all over the field.

If anyone ever again says he can't throw over the middle, you need to turn in your Bills card.

The running game was awful. His receiver dropped balls and fumbled. He had three monsters in his face hitting him within 2 seconds of just about ever play. He still fought and still had a good game.

I know it sounds strange after such a drubbing, but this may be the game that we look back on and point to when we say, "Tyrod is finally the Man."

Embarrassing loss, yes. But don't blame Tyrod. He played great.

Is this a bait post? Yesterday was one of the worst games of Tyrod's career.

    Held onto the ball forever.

Took sacks when plenty of opportunities presented to get rid of the ball

Refused to throw into any sort of coverage until the last two drives

Only throws over the middle to flat footed stationary targets who are five yards open

Taylor proved yesterday that he's probably not a Top 25 QB when it comes to winning football games. If you prefer a guy to play not to lose, He's top 10. Did his team **** the bed? Absolutely. Any QB you want to slap a "franchise" label on needs to at least put them in a position to win. Taylor won't or can't.

  8. No one on this team is expendable. We're only where we are because everyone knows exactly what they're doing. GTFO with talks about draft picks in a year where it looks like I finally get to open that box of Flutie Flakes.

Davis, Holmes, and Ducasse are all expendable. Holmes is the only one that has a role that would be hard to replace. Ducasse could be replaced by Groy/Miller. Davis' spot could be filled with just about any street FA. In fact Lorax would be better served moving to reserve DE when Humber comes back. Holmes is good on ST but with Benjamin and Mathews healing much faster than we all thought, let's face it Holmes is not needed.

If I'm McD I make the cuts, get the pick, and start Groy at RG.

  9. Davis has 6 tackles all season. He has been invisible for the most part and Holmes will not see much of the field now that Benjamin's on the roster. Those two are no brainers. The only real question is Ducasse, whom they seem to love even though he is well below average.

We just used a 3rd round pick to get Kelvin Benjamin. Now you're trying to say that they have no value.

You cant trade a comp pick and Benjamin was drafted in the first round because he's a first round talent. Guys like him are lottery win in the 3rd. I don't value 3rd round picks much more than a just a guy Preston Brown type.

  10. Who cares about what's practically a 4th rd pick that cant be traded? Pop quiz: How many Bills 4th round picks do we have on our team?

    Spoiler: 0

Even if you want to argue a 3rd: Preston Brown, John Miller, Adolphus Washington. I'd take a bet that none of them are on the 53 next season.

If you win, picks decrease in value.

  11. This IS true, period. Anyone can be replaced.

Any decent employer tries to understand the employee and find a way to make them more productive while meeting their personal needs.

NFL EMPLOYEES get great big checks, but give up some things in return, like the ability to jump to employer X, Y or Z at will.

The majority of my working life was in banking. If I wanted to share my opinions with anyone about anything, I would have been given one warning. The next time....out the door. When youre at work, you do your job. My wife manages people who make 7 figures. If one of them pulled this kind of crap theyd be gone in no time. THAT is how the real world works as Ive experienced it.

I understand and it's a fair point. It's worth noting banking is a pretty old school industry. In my work experience (tech), it's extremely common for employees to make their feelings known to management. We're reasonably expensive to replace, so we exercise that leverage until we move on to greener pastures.

  12. If you think the culture war which led to the election of President Trump, and is currently leading to the very loud rejection of leftism around the country at every single level of government is bad now; wait until you see what happens when you attempt to undo the republican democratic process by attempting to impeach the will of people for purely political reasons.

The complete lack of self awareness of the left is hilarious to watch.

38% approval ratings? 80 million more of us than there are of you? lost the popular vote by 3 million?

I get it, math is hard.

Just because you take up more space in flyover country doesn't mean the majority of the population agrees with your backwards, uneducated, fascist thinking.

  13. To own a company and have the employees tell you how to run it is total BS.

Not sure where you work, but this hasn't been true for a long time at the broader scale. When you're highly skilled and the company depends on that skill to be successful, most successful owners will try to understand where their employees are coming from and when possible work with them to resolve their issues. When they don't, the best talent leaves and the company suffers. Not sure how much of a hurry Duane Brown will be in to re-sign if he has other equal offers.
