Correct. This notion by @Alphadawg7that Washington gave up on Cousins to go full rebuild just and that they viewed Alex Smith as a "stop gap" (which they gave up a 3rd round pick for) just isn't accurate.
No. It was a significant three year cap hit for Smith that was back loaded. They expected Alex to be their guy. He actually counted more against the Skins cap last year then Cousins did with the Vikings. They expected him to at the very least be a lateral transfer from Cousins. They weren't looking at a rebuild. It just turned out that way because of his injury. It would be like the Cowboys letting Dak go and trading for Matt Ryan.
Golladay will pry get between 17 and 20 million per season being the top WR free agent on the market with Robinson and Godwin being tagged. Robert Woods signed a contract that pays him 16.25 million dollar per season last September and I expect Golladay to make a little more than that.
Maybe I misread his post but I interpreted it as the Skins dumped Cousins because they didn't want to have his salary and start a rebuild. That's just not true given the money they spent on Alex Smith that same off-season who wasn't that far off from Cousins as far as average annual salary goes.
The same year the Skins released Cousins they signed Alex Smith to a 4 year 94 million dollar deal (71 million guaranteed) and his cap hit went up each season he was there. They also gave up a 3rd round pick for him. They weren't in rebuild mode at the time.
My guess is they'll get a 5th round pick for him. I doubt the Bills do it given their salary cap situation. The only reason I think it's a small possibility is Beane's end of the year press conference comment about needing to get better at the position. He could definitely be a 3rd and short/medium chain mover if the other team puts a good coverage corner on Beasley.
Petty family drama that never reared its ugly head until Trump came into the political world. Weddings, parties, etc... became more stressful on us. Let's just say it would be easier if I had two sons.
Me too. My wife just got the J&J vaccine. No issues so far. Projections for vaccine ability for everyone just got pushed up to mid May. Was previous late May. August before that.
She's not evil but she's a liar. Also, given an estimated 27 million Americans wages would go up if they went up to $15 an hour her dramatic "thumbs down" was incredibly tone deaf.
They pry help with more common conditions more than the spread of Covid. FTR, I'm not advocating mask wearing every winter. I'm hopeful some longer lasting cleaner personal hygiene habits will be the new norm if there's something positive to come out of this nightmare.
