I think he does a decent job but I'm in the majority.
They said the deal will take around nine months to approve assuming they finalize the deal. My guess is all will be the same at least for this season.
My question is if he has another great year would Beane use the non exclusive franchise tag on him since it will likely cost them less than the amount an extension that he'll be asking for. That's a long time down the road though.
If you have excellent technique the drop in athleticism isn't as costly as skilled positions like RB or WR. There's just more wear and tear on a guard/center's body given the nature of the position.
I mean. That's fine because it will kick all the illegal immigrants off and those made up 35 year olds playing video games in their parents basement. It's a hell of a sell by Republicans tbh but it's not based in reality. Ask Lisa Murkowski.
My antennas were raised when they tried out three TE's yesterday. I was hoping it was Zach Davidson that would go to PUP. Also, Joe Marino personally texted you or is it like a group text thing?
Agreed but the thing is I don't know if Beane wants to set that precedent for someone at the end of their rookie deal. I always thought some likely to be earn incentives was the easy compromise.
That's the extension I liked the least as he took a step back last year. Still, Milano's gone after this year probably so it give the Bills some stability at the position. It's a little easier to swallow when Edmunds is making $18m/year and the Eagles signed Baun for $17m/year. I think $10.54m/year was fair especially when only $14.1m was fully guaranteed. It's an easy contract to get out of after two years as I'm sure injury concerns were part of that equation. McDermott obviously loves the kid and sees him as the leader of the defense so I'll trust his judgment.
I'm a little surprised Rousseau and Benford both got extended for what will be a bargain of a contract if they both stay healthy. Take it or leave it is a good strategy when there's a year left on their rookie contract. Seemed everybody played ball but Cook.
If the Bills like Might Wight I'd wonder if the Titans would be interested in trading for Trubisky. Wentz, Huntley, and maybe Beathard are unsigned so they could go that route too.
