  1. The other three teams involved in the DeShaun Watson sweepstakes obviously are breathing sighs of relief. I didn't anticipate his play dropping off that drastically so I kind of got why the Browns did it given how desperate they were for a franchise QB. A high risk high reward type move. Obviously, it backfired spectacularly.
  2. We didn't know that last off-season and the 49ers apparently didn't either. Didn't count on him being rusty "holding in" during training camp.
  3. Because he takes his "job" seriously. He's the kind of person that stops at red lights playing Grand Theft Auto.
  4. Cowboys Patriots Jaguars
  5. My decade long strategy of picking all the one seeds in my bracket has finally paid off. Go DUKE.
  6. I mean I watch this game and am amazed Josh Allen could've had eight turnovers in this game and only had eight turnovers last season. I forgot how loose with the ball he was.
  7. Easy to say after an ACL and MCL injury. He was coming off of a 1300 plus yard season with 7 TD's.
  8. Why do you follow this team? LOL.
  9. The full Josh Allen experience in that one. -Catches passing TD -Two 30 plus yard runs -Rolling right a bunch of times and making unbelievable throws to Knox, Brown, Duke Williams, and Singletary. -Fumbling up 8 -Throwing into triple coverage to a fullback. -Trying to leap defenders six yards from the first down marker on 3rd down. -A blind lateral to Knox in overtime with multiple defenders on him going down.
  10. A lot of us wanted him last year because of our anemic WR core after trading Diggs and losing Davis.
  11. No because he can't pass a physical and the bonus is guaranteed if injured. They'd still have to pay the $24.9m if they cut him.
  12. Beane just said he's going to wait until after the draft to work on any long term extensions when asked about Cook.
  13. If you remove nostalgia from my brain the one's we currently have with the white helmet are superior to the 90's look in my not so humble opinion.
  14. Veach trading up one slot with the Bills to select him so Beane can get an extra 6th rounder and........this board might explode.
  15. Agents will push for these deals too because of the risk aversion aspect. I wouldn't want to spend a whole season praying my client won't tear an ACL or something.
  16. The new team would then have to pay the $22.85m bonus right away so good luck with that. They're stuck with him.
  17. All our worthy players were extended before it was even a consideration with mixed results (Dawkins, Brown, Poyer, Hyde, Milano, T. White). I could easily see Cook going the Edmunds route next year. If some team wants to overpay for you, so be it.
  18. It's why you have to hit in the draft and sometimes be aggressive. If we traded up for Brian Thomas Jr. last year fans wouldn't even entertain the thought of trading and paying for a DK Metcalf. We still could've re-signed all those guys and acquired/paid Metcalf with some cap gymnastics.
  19. Yeah. It's almost like having a competent GM and HC matters even though they have an elite QB.
  20. Most of what he said is nonsense. We just locked in a top 10 CB (age 24) and a top 20 DE (age 24) for below market value. Those two contracts will look like highway robbery three years from now. The common main criticism of Beane is that we lack truly elite difference makers come playoff time. Beane's like the Pete Rose of the NFL draft. Lots of singles and doubles but very few home runs. Benford was pry his best draft pick besides Allen. However, the one big missed opportunity this off-season was not trading for DK Metcalf imo. He's the only elite player (imo) at a premium position in his prime that the Bills could've easily obtained (2nd and a 5th?) and signed for $30m. We obviously weren't getting Garrett or Crosby as they just wanted to stay where they were with fat new contracts. It worked. I like the Bosa signing because given his injury concerns it's only a one year deal and it's the best option we had on the free agency market. Metcalf is a true #1 freakish athletic WR in his prime that can beat you at all levels of the field and would open up the rest of the offense. I really wish we could've seen Josh throw to someone like him. PFF has him a the #6 CB in 2024 in both wins above replacement and overall grade (79.3). He should've made the Pro Bowl but he's not a big name given he was picked in the 6th round.
  21. If Trump goes through with this you're about to find out.
  22. Because they're Democrats. There's no regulation they don't like to impose. Even they knew how stupid a Tariff War would be though.
  23. No injury occurred twice though and all of them aren't long term concerns (besides the two concussions). I'm not sure if he's injury prone or just unlucky.
  24. A lot of skill position players would pry be opposed to that because they're heavier. Plus, I don't want to watch a bunch of real life bobbleheads playing football.
