After watching it again, he wasn’t all that good. The passes where he was rushed and flat out missed were really important plays in the game. Overall, he was pretty sloppy except for the few long completions.

I think we win by 13 or more.

Not kicking the FG would’ve been a fireable offense. That’s some Matt LaFleur level *****. Yup. Our OL was getting blown up at that moment and it wasn’t going to end well. Glad we didn’t.

Yeah but the back would’ve been stopped at the same spot. It was going nowhere. There wasn’t space to run right or left.

I would’ve rolled Josh out with the option to throw on 2ND down. Then run (not from shotgun)on 3rd down, FG. Tush push was a bad idea.

This is what MCD does with a lead at the half. 1st half: game plan works perfectly, 2 turnovers, we get a lead, which then takes Henry out of the game. That is the perfect scenario to be in. Couldn’t be better. 2nd half: McD gets scared and conservative and gives back ALL of those advantages that the players earned in the 1st half. Game gets closer. Running with Henry now becomes an option for Ravens with plenty of time on clock. Henry destroys us. Defense is gassed.

Let’s not pretend that McD wasn’t in his ear demanding ball protection/no risk on those drives.

Except for the 2 turnovers which took Henry out of the game until that late drive. Their defense was stout in the 2nd half but I expected that. McD let them back in the game, which also brought Henry back into the game. He tried to sabotage his own game plan. Could you imagine?

I think we got it back with 1:15. Ravens took last timeout. They prolly would’ve had 30 seconds after we punted.

It was pretty clear we weren’t gettin in with tush pushes. They were stuffing us. But the plays we called instead were atrocious which forced a FG.

Yup. It wasn’t a great pass and Andrews was worried about staying in bounds.

The FG is fine. The conservative calls to kill clock before that were terrible.
