I'm curious as to who the player is, and what round the draft pick is. They wanted a second and 4th, so gotta figure the player they got in return is a pretty decent one that has some control left on his contract.

That's fine. I'm not saying this will 100% happen, but I wouldn't be shocked. I was responding to Shaw's question as he was asking if the Bills or the Jets are in a better position. I think the Jets could be a whole lot better if they're not leaning on the likes of Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh McCown. They have a young promising defense as well. That team also played tough throughout most of it's schedule and lost a lot of close games. Trust me, this is the last team I would want to give praise as I live in Jets country and their fan-base is insufferable. Honestly didn't think about that as a possibility but it makes too much sense. Plus, he played a Michigan and is from Illinois. They also have 51 million in cap space to play with.

I think it's all about the cash to an extent. The Jets have a ton of cap space, and a solid young group of WRs. In that aspect they are in a better position going forward.

This is the one team outside of Washington re-signing Cousins I think will actually be making a conscious effort to sign him. My reasons are they have failed to develop either Petty or Hackenberg, and that being said Bowles is on borrowed time. I think he could be in the win now mind set after getting a pass for the past 2 seasons. He signed an extension, but that doesn't mean much.

My first instinct when reading this is that Glenn is going to be traded. But, then I don't recall any leaks coming out of OBD under this regime like it was under Whaley & crew. I really like Glenn. We could have two very solid to good tackles which is hard to come by in this league nowadays with the lack of development at the college level for the big guys. Glenn was reliable his first 5 seasons. Past two he's missed 15 games. So, I really am about 50/50 on how I feel about trading him. Then it is also not the new year so that can't be it.

It was actually Doc Gooden responding to a tweet via the Mets account. They do that every few days where they current Mets players & former players go on their twitter to chat with fans. I liked him from last year and thought he would be a solid pick. During the season he had several rough games. He was even bench two to three times? Doesn't have amazing arm strength, worked within a Mike Leach spread offense, slim lanky build and his one stand out game for me this season was his win against USC when they were ranked 5th in the nation at the time. He was 34/51 340 yards and 2 touchdowns and 1 INT. He had another good showing against Standford when they were ranked 21st. Seems like a system guy that would fit more within a WC offense.
