  1. Tough to do today , lots of short passes and rpo stuff.
  2. I usually don’t like harping on play calling as execution is often to blame. Not today though. The conditions dictate certain things and so does field position in a tight game. Calling QB run in minus territory on 3rd and short is asking for trouble. A punt isn’t a terrible thing there with the wind at your back. Might have spotted the Eagles the game winning points there. Uphill climb now.
  3. Yep, and too risky when the D is hunting the run and your QB.
  4. Daboll deserves dunce-cap award for that first half. Deep passes , one to DiMarco ? Terrible call on fumble play. Why does this team even have RBs? Turnovers huge on a day like today, in minus territory is a killer. Free drive for PHL coming up to start 3rd. Two scores probably too much to overcome with zero running game like the Bills have right now. Just awful stuff
  5. While they were actively looking the week before the opener, Bojo hasn’t been terrible enough to pursue it. I’d guess they have a few guys on standby if he really costs them. Seeing a lot of Eagles gear out there in warmups.
  6. Yeah, those wind forecasts have been changing all morning. Just going by the latest weather underground stuff ( OP specific)
  7. There will be some FGs missed and even XPs could be an adventure if timing is unlucky.
  8. Fosters a speed guy, so I don’t see much in McKenzies game that Foster couldn’t do. Last I checked wind speed from 1 -4 was 21-24 mph
  9. That would be a sloppy game all around. Just looks like some high winds, wouldn’t expect that much difficulty out there holding onto the football. We’ll see!
  10. Maybe, but that’s not why he’s active today. Just trying to win a football game, that’s all that went into those decisions.
  11. Late money was on Eagles
  12. Nope, Foster active instead.
  13. S. Perry plays STs, not sure if Yeldon is as good there.
  14. For what it’s worth, they’ve played better in the ones I wasn’t too confident about. I hope that continues, as I’d love to be wrong on this !
  15. Milano active , could be a major factor
  16. Just feeling like the Bills D gets exposed by PHL today in the running game and giving up plays to TEs. Bills offense can’t get it going on the ground or the air. Eagles 27-13
  17. Interesting. Looks like the line is now Eagles +2.5 ? The line is doing it’s job, evening out that money. Yeah, I don’t get the complaints about the Pats easy schedule not being mentioned. I hate ‘em, but no one is really wondering if the team in New England is any good.
  18. Wow, very true. Reports are lots of Eagles fans around yesterday. Won’t be anything like Bills in Tennessee , but still sounds like a large contingent. Not a great look with a 5-1 team.
  19. Yep, never liked that dill hole. Ex Pats talking heads suck in general.
  20. The OP was referring to the “red helmets” that came about in the Ferguson era, not the white helmet / standing buffalo version you mention.
  21. One of the dumbest things I’ve ever read from the NYT, and yes that’s saying something.
  22. The Bills run a fundamentally sound defensive scheme and don’t make a lot of errors. They aren’t getting a lot of takeaways at the moment, but it’s not a huge deal. When teams win with takeaway heavy defense, it’s usually considered unsustainable.
  23. Agree on the Bills uniforms. However, I love the Raiders unis too, and the logo is an absolute classic.
  24. Nope, neither. Coaches coach, and players play. The point was a poster stated that how sharp a team plays is mostly on the coaches. I said It isn’t. Can’t be more obvious.
  25. What you described is all part of strategy and game plan. Some plays also are good vs one team, but not so good vs another. I’ve never seen a coach execute a block or catch a pass on the field during an NFL game.
