Sunday Night Football: Packers at Chiefs 8:20 ET

All well and good. The problem is that there are 9 more weeks to go until it actually ends. -
Our next 4 games are very winnable

I don’t think a trade was dependent upon the division. If there’s something that improves the team this year while also helping in the near future then it should get done. The playoffs are available this year, next year could be a different story. -

The Bills don’t play Oakland or KC this season. Doesn’t matter too much right now. -

I’m not sure what the stats were from that point on, but it seems like the fight went out of the dog around then. -

To me, that’s where it unraveled. The offense did nothing with the short field and the D began to fade quickly after. Turnover on downs was the turning point. -
Fortunately it’s much closer to the end now ;it’s almost in sight. That’s really all NFL fans can hang their hat on right now.

But it was vs New England, so that really kills the fun.

You may assume that, but my post count should indicate that I care quite a bit about this team. Are message boards for venting? I suppose if that’s what you’re after. It’s hardly all sunshine and rainbows here, even after a win. It’s also a place for discussion, especially realistic discussion about the team and strategy etc. Is it realistic to think the Bills are ready to move on from Josh Allen ? I’d venture that it probably isn’t , so many fans don’t see the point in trashing the QB until they finally make a change. You can be skeptical while still hoping it works out. -

Critique all you want. Just empathizing with your plight, fan to fan. The simple fact is you can choose to watch or not, but that’s about it. The team will do what they’re going to do. If it upsets you that much, maybe it’s time to take a break. I wouldn’t bother watching something that I found so annoying, but that’s just me. -

Well, they’re not putting in Barkley. Have to watch it play out or watch another team. It’s always an option. -
They did. Can’t change it though. I’d agree he probably doesn’t get to that level, but we’ll see. Not much fans can do in the meantime.

Well, every fan is probably concerned about that QB. All but the biggest homers will be skeptical until it’s proven to be unwarranted . It will play out on the field, and if Josh Allen doesn’t produce in a certain time frame he will certainly be replaced. Not much we can do except go along for the ride or not. -

The Bills tore down the offense after year one. It’s year 3 yes, but the niners are a year ahead. Bills need another good draft and FA period. They took a different approach, and there’s more than one way to do it. -

That’s what is often forgotten. How’d the Jets look after their big win over the Cowboys ? Many were picking them to upset New England , lol . -

How does it work then ? The Niners appear to be for real after a few drafts and FA acquisitions , and they don’t have a QB on a rookie deal either. I don’t think there’s just one way to get it done. -

This is a pretty realistic assessment. While they made some big changes on the O, it was because they had little worth keeping. They’re still a stud WR and a tackle away ( at least ) on offense, and the D needs an elite pass rusher. That doesn’t mean they can’t still improve this year and even make the playoffs. I doubt anyone thought this roster was championship caliber right now. -

I guess I’m just not certain what the fan base has to do with the product on the field. As far as I can tell, the impact is zero. -

Of course we all want that as fans. Doesn’t mean we’re gonna get it though. I’ll take a winning record and a playoff berth. The tricky thing about this fan business is that we pretty much have to live with what the team’s owners and FO decide to do. If not, we can always find another team that meets our expectations. Trouble is, theres something hollow to me in just deciding to root for the Pats*. -
So ironic seeing CLE called for a pick play vs New England
-
Oh he is, but I believe in him as a QB. I see it as the deciding factor in that division , so I’m pulling for HOU. A long way to go in this season of course.
-
Eh, not for me. Loved him in PHL for the Super Bowl, but he’s AFC now and thereby the enemy. Just like the rest of ‘em It’s an indictment of the OL watching these other teams running screens. Even the Browns can gash NE with this once in awhile. Bills are the worst looking screen team out there, and not just today.
