  1. I'm all for building from the lines out, but I don't see what that has to do with Josh and pre-snap reads.
  2. There is not a single player or coach on the team right now that should not be looking in the mirror and asking themself what they can be doing better to help the team win. Josh included.
  3. They want him to slide if he runs, which is reasonable.
  4. So this guy doesn't have a clue, but you do? Only you know the truth? Again, we all love Josh but one can love the QB and fairly critique his performance. If you don't want to, go back to your room and kiss your Josh bobblehead doll.
  5. One of the hardest things in sports is figuring out what successful assistant coaches or coordinators have what it takes to succeed as a HC. And you can't figure it out until they get a shot.
  6. No one is saying get rid of Josh, but in your hysteria over him getting some criticism you jump to that. He is a great QB, but he has room to improve. Film shows there are times he could take the easy completion for yardage and doesn't. He did in the 3 games where the offense wiped folks out. He just needs to get back to that.
  7. So let me ask you this. The coaches and Josh are watching the film from all games. They are watching the film for upcoming opponents. The coaches tell him: when you see this, you need to go here with the ball. But Josh doesn't. Who is to blame? We all love Josh, but he is not infallible and there are still parts of his game where he can improve.
  8. I have no problem with him running more if he slides and avoids big hits. But he also needs to improve his reads.
  9. You realize his first stint as a HC didn’t go well?
  10. It’s possible. They need to come out fired up Thursday. If not and we see the same first half malaise it won’t bode well.
  11. Josh is one of the best QBs in the league. But he still has things to improve on, like reading defenses, setting protections and such. And it is OK to acknowledge such.
  12. What in the hell does the last decade and a half have to do with the last 3 games? We have a great QB now who has not performed as well as he could recentl, and the same can be said for everyone else associated with the team. Period. Go kiss your Josh doll.
  13. It’s multi factorial. Dorsey hasn’t been innovative enough; defenses have figured out what we’re doing. Josh then has more pressure on him and as such presses and makes mistakes he wouldn’t normally make. The O line is not playing as well as it should. And WRs need to get better spacing and catch the ball consistently. While statistically the offense looks good, the past several weeks it has played terribly the first half to three quarters of the games. And everyone involved has responsibility for that.
  14. So you didn’t read it. As I thought.
  15. Let me ask you a question. Did you read my original post? Because if you had you would see that I called the defensive effort on the last drive inexcusable. The offense has sleep walked for 50% or more of the last several games. That is as inexcusable as the defensive performance yesterday. Did I not say as my first point in my original post that Dorsey isn’t effective? Did I not say in my 3rd point that the defensive effort yesterday was inexcusable. I’m done responding to you. You ignore any comments that don’t support your supposition that people are just picking on St. Josh.
  16. I come out and say it because it seems obvious something is going on. He says he has to be better. Why doubt him when he says that? There is not one member of the team and coaching staff that can say they’re doing their best right now. Everyone needs to step it up. And that includes the guy that plays the most important position. Look at your comments. You are blasting coaches and other players when they make mistakes, but when Josh does he gets a pass. It doesn’t work like that.
  17. I’m going to say this one more time. We all love Josh. But he is not infallible and is not immune from criticism. Just like Mahomes can be criticized if he plays bad. Or Burrows. Or Hurts.. Or Diggs. Or whomever. Does Josh put the team in position to win? Yes. And sometimes, rarely but sometimes, no. Like the Jets game. And the first half to first three quarters of the last three games. It is clear things are not going well on offense. Anyone with a shrewd of objectivity can see that. He is the QB, and as such he has responsibility for some of that. He is a great QB but he is not a saint. Quit making him out as such.
  18. The bad throw on the pick the first drive. Overthrowing Diggs. Missing Davis in the back of the end zone. I don’t get you two. People have acknowledged the defense stunk. People are rightfully critical of Dorsey and McD. But Josh also makes mistakes as good as he is, but you refuse to see it. Why?
  19. Yes the D sucked. Where was the offense the first 3 quarters? The first half the last several games? The offense is not playing well and the QB is a big part of that. We all love Josh but he is not infallible. Do you accept the way the offense has been playing? And again go back and actually read what is written. It is not knee jerk.
  20. I love having Josh as QB. But you can love having the guy and still recognize when there are issues. As for the rest of your nonsense, the greatest Bill in history was either Bruce or OJ (before becoming a degenerate murderer); Josh has a ways to go. You have no idea about Joshvthe person as you’ve never met him, although we all appreciate what he does in the community. And far from being analytical, Josh’s numbers are good, but something is missing. And that is obvious from the last 3 games. Now run along. Again I have criticized the defense thoroughly. Read everything posted before responding with drivel. As for Josh did great in the 4th, but it is a 60 minute game. If we come out and score it takes the Pars out of what they wanted to do.
  21. A DT or CB if we do one. But I don’t think we can trade a bunch of picks, because it is looking like we’ll need them to retool after this year. This season looks like the step backward to take two steps forward. We’ll need good draft picks at WR, O line, and DB/S to replace older guys.
  22. What happened the decades before has no bearing in today. And if you go back and look at my original post you’ll see I am generally optimistic, but that yesterday caused me to evaluate some things. So no I don't come out of the woodwork, no I am not doom and gloom, and yes you just decide to read into things. The Billszare in a bad way right now for multiple reasons, Josh is one of them, and no my single opinion is not going to alienate him.
  23. Sorry but disagree completely. First of all I specifically talked about Dorsey in my post as well as McD and you completely ignore than part. And I’m sorry but Josh is not immune to criticism. He lost the Jets game, said so himself. And when you are as good as he is the offense can’t lay an egg in the first half 3 weeks in a row. That is not just on Dorsey, the guy in the field making decisions where to go with the ball has to shoulder some of that.
