He brought them to the playoffs !...The Browns !! Belichick is the best coach in the NFL today and one of the top 3 ever...IMHO of course ....

BB was one of the best DC in the league...he's one of the reason we didn't win that SB...... Everyone that works in or around the NFL unanimously call him the best in the league...we all hate him, but to pretend he's not the absolute best is silly....the guy has 7 rings..... To do what NE is doing for 15 years, it's more than just Brady.....without BB, I don't think TB has 5 SBs....

I will admit that there's some unknown...I do hope that Ragland is at least solid, if not a star in the making...I also have high hopes for Alexander.....if those moves don't work out the way I hope, we're pretty much screwed on D......so-so LBs and so-so secondary...that's a bad combo.....

I was disappointed in Darby last year but you are right about Rex. I'm sure you remember how much of a " fan " I was of good ole Rexy. It could have been a case of schemes in regards to Darby...he still has the athletic attributes to be a very good CB.....

I you had to pick a weak link ( besides depth ) it has to be the secondary.....the rest is solid.

I really think Brady will be the exception....He means so much to that organisation....Kraft looks at him as a son....they are not trading Tom freaking Brady....Plus, as someone else mentioned, he's still the best QB in the league and we haven't seen anything telling us that he won't be next year...we're all hoping he'll decline....but I don't see it happening in 2017....or 2018.....the guy is a Borg.....resistance is futile.....

NE is like the kid who actually reads all the rules of a board game...it's annoying as hell, but they are right 99% of the time.... I don't think NE really wants him either...( they have what , 5 RBs ? )...so, if no one picks him up, they will have to release him to avoid giving him the $1.1M...at that point, he'll be back as a FA...

Belichick is really above everyone else.....BTW, it doesn't really screw Blount...the comp pick does not come from the team who would pick LB...Would the Giants or Lions hesitate to pick him up because NE will get a 5th next year ?.....I don't think so.... That chess vs checkers is getting old, but it is accurate.... That would actually help them....

That is simply not accurate Mr Pegs....2 SB appearance in 19 years and no trophies to show does not equal " high level ".......We need to set the bar higher than that.... Having said that, we now have our own BB....can't be a bad thing can it ?

I realize that we can't compare eras....but I see a lot of " today's QB aren't tough or wouldn't last in the old days "........Brady has taken a crap load of hits throughout his career...and he's still playing at 40 years old...not only playing, but doing so at a MVP level....the guy whines a lot,but to say he's not tough is silly...he's missed the entire year in 2008 ( I think ) when he tore up his knee..but besides that year, I don't remember him ever going out during a game ...the Giants kept saying how tough he was after beating them in the SB.....Von Miller goes on and on how he respects Brady because of his toughness....The guy can take a hit....he's a tough dude....he's a whiner, but he's tough....

Didn't you mention something to the effect that , during last year's SB run, some of their fans were actually saying that getting to the big game was starting to be boring....can you even begin to imagine....talk about being spoiled..... I was thinking about those kids that were born in the early to mid 90's...by the time they were old enough to understand what football was and pay attention, they've only known NE as the powerhouse they are now....they have no idea what having a bad team means...

That's not really accurate....he took a perennial losing franchise and turned it around before the lucky break with Brady ....NE became respectable when Kraft hired Parcells....they got Bledsoe and went to the SB in 1996....I think Foxboro has been sold out every game since 1993.... He also traded a draft pick to get Belichick....he obviously saw something he liked there.....

There's some truth to that...Dante Scarnecchia ( spelling? ) is quite the Oline coach also....he left after the SB win vs Seattle and Brady got killed the year after in the Championship at Denver...he comes back, they win another SB....

All I care about is winning...and Brady does that...a lot.....

No QB does well against a constant pass rush.....as far as guys playing with him, with the exception of Gronk, he had Moss for 2 years....and broke all the records one of those year...and that's pretty much it.....I think Brady has done more with less compare to any QB in NFL history......He won SBs with David Givens and Deion Branch as his best weapons.....that's ridiculous....

I'm still waiting to see how he does in his 16th year...the 1st 15 could simply have been beginner's luck..... On a serious note, how is this really a question ? We all love JK, but no one in their right mind would pass on Brady knowing what we know now.....
