I completely back Gabriel’s Gate for wings, 100%. Allentown is a true gem of a neighborhood. You should definitely try to wind up at the Old Pink, preferably after 1am. Treat yourself to their steak sandwich, especially after a few beverages. Hardware and Neitsche’s if you’re into the live music/boho vibe, and DBGB’s has a great beer selection and a nice divey feel. Also downtown I would highly recommend Big Ditch Brewing, imo they are amongst , if not the very top of the local brewing game. Great food there as well.

@May Day 10 fair enough, you obviously spend more time there than I do. I’ve sat in the 300s but not in the corners. Blue line to blue line up there isn’t too bad. 100s are too low for my preference. Saw Ryan Miller get lit up once from four rows directly behind him, that was a cool experience but I wouldn’t want to sit down there on the regular.

Yeah, def needs regular maintenance type of stuff, was just saying it’s not like it needs to be torn down or anything drastic. I think it’s a decent arena, always thought the foot traffic flow in and out of the building worked pretty well, and for a ‘modern’ arena the sight lines are ok. Not a fan of the giant nets at each end, but that’s a league thing.

There’s nothing wrong with it, people just want more bells and whistles.
