  1. what exactly do you hate about "culture"? you don't like a winning culture? and honestly...whether you start a thread or add to it, it turns to this nonsense. every time. i'm not here to tell you what to do or what to post. just don't call people out on their inability to handle negativity when interacting with you. it's not the negativity. it's the inability to have a normal discussion.
  2. i honestly don't think it's a matter of you being negative. it's more what you choose to be negative about...it often time is a mix of absurd and unreasonable. people call you out on it, and instead of reflecting a bit, you get defensive. look at your post in the thread you quoted. you got all bent out of shape. if poster has decided that they don't like mcd...fine. i think those posters are the ones who won't like any coach that doesn't win the super bowl. i get it, but i think there's a bigger picture there. when mcd took over, i wanted this team to turn into a regular super bowl contender. of course i want a super bowl for this team, and maybe at some point it will be time to move on, but i certainly don't think we're anywhere near that yet. let's see what happens in these next games. if the bills lose to either the jets or phins, i think all the criticism in the world will be warranted.
  3. here's what we're dealing with...the guy will post a thread criticising various aspects of the game, win or lose. as there's always something like that to discuss, that's not the problem. the issue is 1972 consistently creates these pointless metrics that if the team and especially mcd don't live up to, there's complaints. over the last couple of years we've all figured out the plan, and the guy get called out. instead of realizing that maybe the threads are a bit over the top, he calls his critics apologists, and plays the game that no one here can handle the negativity. we're talking about a guy that said he'd rather see an exciting game than win. if his threads don't de-evolve into this type of interaction, he's disappointed. he bumped his own thread twice over three days because no one was paying attention to it anymore. the guy needs it for so reason, and admittedly we feed into. it's fun at first, then it turns frustrating, then it becomes sad. we're at the sad stage now.
  4. Again, it’s not your opinion on mcd. It’s who you are. You can hide behind the idea that this place can’t handle criticism. It’s the calling card of terrible posters. If you weren’t so petty about things, maybe people would be more receptive to your posts. Sound reasonable? You’re not a martyr in any way.
  5. with kids that age you just have to be ready to be sick on and off from september to january. it always seemed to level off around then. my daughter is 7, and it's finally stopped with her. our son is 4, and it's better, but he still brings stuff home.
  6. it has been inconsistent. i'm not sure if it's a function of a new OC, injuries, or a combo of both. we had our mid season rut that we seem to be pulling out of and hopefully the NE game is a sign of the bills establishing who they need to be. all that said, i still don't care how they win over these next 5 games...they just have to find a way to win. i'll worry about the playoffs once this team get there. as far as i'm concerned, the playoffs are an entirely different season.
  7. i'm not sure why it's even important. you don't have to be the most dominant team or the best team to win the super bowl. everything had to go just right at the right time, as the 2007 pats learned. this is getting so over the top. they could blow a few team out and still lose in the first round. this blow out nonsense is just like the 300 yard nonsense. wins are what's important. you'll have more than enough ammo to go after mcd if he doesn't win the next few games.
  8. every win can be analyzed and flaw can be found. that's just the nature of the game. looking for personal goal that you want a team to accomplish isn't worth the time. the only goal over the next month should be to win the game. i don't care if it's by 1 point or 30. Doesn't matter to me at all. this is getting to the point of being petty.
  9. I feel like this thread is here to tell me I’m not as healthy as a pro athlete.
  10. Oh I completely get it, but viruses can go sideways on you. I’m sure these guys can handle it far better than 45 year old me, but I’m wishful thinking at this point.
  11. @Giuseppe Tognarelli
  12. how dare you!
  13. and it's so much more fun this way. i've been mauling this over. how would i get the feces on his property if he had cameras himself. so far my easiest solution is to get a 3 man sling shot and just rocket it at his garage. I can set up a couple of removable posts that act as the sling holder, and i'll pull/aim, and let it fly.
  14. it's when you have to evacuate from both ends at the same time. there's no winning. are you saying i'm not a peak athlete? if you're looking for shirtless pictures, you're on your way.
  15. that following week i actually had pneumonia, and i felt great with pneumonia in comparison to the flu. you ever have a case of the whores?
  16. i had the flu a few years ago and it absolutely rocked me. i felt wildly bad for about 4-5 days, but it took me another week just to feel better. i have to image that most of these guys will play, but they may not be anywhere near 100% depending how bad they have it.
  17. just be passive aggressive and leave your feces all around his lawn and walkway.
  18. of course it would. and you'd still find something wrong with the game.
  19. it would be so awesome when he makes patricia our OC. that team is a mess and it's on belichik. i wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot poll. he's done.
  20. no one is defending mcd at all costs, but people are certainly blaming him at all costs. how did the bills look lost on that play? it's a bizarre narrative that you're conjuring up to place the blame. it was a mishandled snap that was turned over. it happens unfortunately, but place the blame on the people that mishandled that snap. our expensive qb and center. both are pros and should have made that work.
  21. and what if josh throws a pick in that territory. what if he's sacked? every play in football has potential to be botched. of course you're done. you're unreasonable. you think every loss is on the coach, and that's not necessarily true at all. players can lose games, and that's happened this year. try to be willing to look at the big picture rather than just pointing the blame at one person. coaches can always shoulder some aspect of the game, but what you're doing is just meaty.
  22. it's the sun. already i haven't seen the sun in the last 3 days. no big deal now, but a few more months of this gray and i'm going to lose my mind.
  23. This is such an unreasonable post. So because Allen slipped once on a qb sneak, he shouldn’t try a qb sneak when backed up against his end zone? You really want to blame a botched handoff in the coach? Ok…what play would you have run in the Vikings game?
  24. oh really? a coach should know when a player will make a mistake? there can be a failure any game, any play and any time. this black and white concept that if anything bad happens, it the coaches fault is just lazy.
