  1. Draft lottery time! Fingers crossed! Is this our year to win a top 3? I'm trying to think positive thoughts here... We are due to win one of these damn lotteries.
  2. Interesting... I wonder if it'll be a wide open competition like in Rex's first year where they rotate reps with the 1's between all the QBs? Or if Tyrod will start with the 1's until/unless someone steals it away from him...
  3. Yeah for sure. He even made a comment about how the Bills would put emphasis on signing UDFA's (or something like that). I don't think they really have much choice this year, though. I believe they still have many roster spots left to fill for camp. I'm thinking that the Bills should be a somewhat popular place for UDFA's this year. Lots of opportunity here IMO.
  4. Someone said earlier in this thread that he's the only QB from this year's draft they had in for a visit
  5. Whether Peterman works out or not, if this is the type of stuff the Bills are going to value in a QB under McDermott/Dennison, then I am thrilled! Accuracy and anticipation, ability to read defenses and change plays at the line, ability to,go through all your progressions, find open receivers or throw them open... IMO those are some of the most important traits you look for in a potential franchise QB and if the Bills are going to put more importance on these traits going forward I like their chances of eventually finding their true, long term franchise QB. Much better than big, athletic, mobile, "all the tools" but can't hit water falling out of a boat type QBs...
  6. Sounds like some of the most important traits you look for in a QB IMO. I read a similar scouting report earlier this offseason and wanted Peterman in the late rounds ever since. Excited to se if this kid can develop into anything. Not holding my breath, but excited none the less. Also, if these are the types of traits the Bills will put emphasis on in the future (under McDermott/Dennison) I am thrilled.
  7. I actually love this pick. I think he can be a good backup, and maybe he will surprise (although I'm not holding my breath).
  8. I could see them possibly going after Kelly as an UDFA. But I'd be surprised if they drafted him, with the emphasis they're putting on character. Guess we will find out soon enough though
  9. Thanks. Appreciate it. But I meant what # do we pick at in the 5th and 6th.
  10. Well said. 3 picks in the top 2 rounds, where it looks like we potentially added 3 day 1 starters. plus an extra 1st next year in what (as of now) looks like a very deep QB class, and we still have the same number of picks this year as we started with... Rounds 4-7 are much more of a crap shoot anyway. The first 3 rounds are where you need to hit on your starters, and if the a Bills did that they are in good shape. Seems kind of silly to get so upset before any of these drafted players even play a single down for the Bills. If they all bust, then yeah get mad. But until then what's there to be so mad about? If you're going to stop following your favorite team because they traded away a couple later round picks, how big a fan were you to start with? Personally, I'd be more upset if it looked like they drafted another 1st round bust, like in days past... But that's just me.
  11. Polish Dave posted a really interesting tweet yesterday on UDFA. Adam Schefter ✔@AdamSchefter Hope for underdogs: There are more undrafted free agents on NFL rosters today (481) than 1st- and 2nd-round picks combined (480), per Elias. I wonder what the numbers are for 4th-7th round picks vs UDFA on NFL rosters...
  12. I guess we never had that 4th. It was reported wrong. We have two 5ths and one 6th left.
  13. WTF does the Bills success or lack there of have to do wi people thinking your opinion on players is wrong? Absolutely nothing.
  14. Interesting. I remember McDermott said that the Bills will sign a large number of UDFA's. That it will be something they put some emphasis on. I'm not sure they have a whole lot of choice, anyway. We have a lot of roster spots left to fill.
  15. Stopped paying attention to your opinion when you said Mills was fine... lol (j/k)
  16. I'm excited about is pick the more I read here and elsewhere. Very hopeful we found our RT for now and the future. Our O line could be very good with a better RT. plus Hopefully we won't need to have an extra player blocking so often on the right side to cover for Mills weakness.
  17. Cool. Good to hear. I have to imagine the Bills are planning on him playing RT. We have a couple backup G's already and RT is a glaring need. Can't imagine they give up a 3rd and 2 5th's for a G (a position we actually have some depth at).
  18. Mills sure wasn't fine at RT last year. He was terrible.
  19. So now we have 2 picks left? And don't pick again until the 5th?
