  1. Anyone who's still mad and doesn't understand why the Bills traded Watkins needs to read this article. Thanks for sharing OP.
  2. The Glenn trade stuff doesn't make sense. Everything that came out said that the Bills wanted a lot in return for him, and that the cost was prohibitively high (which is why Seattle went elsewhere). Also, if he won't pass a physical now, how would he have passed one to be traded weeks ago?
  3. Sabres "Road to the winter classic" starts airing tomorrow night at 11:30PM on NBC Sports.
  4. Yup. As of right now now every single player from that draft is contributing. 4 starters, 1 backup (QB) and 1 backup/special teams (Vallejo). We obviously need to see what they turn into in the long term, but as of now that draft looks promising (IMO). If they hit like that in 2018, they are in damn good shape.
  5. I was talking about GPU and CPU mining of other cryptocurrencies, like monero, eth, sumo, etc etc. So I could mine one type with the graphics card and another with the processor. (I'm looking for a new desktop computer anyway...) Id like to mine a few diff. types in case another one skyrockets like btc. If if I did buy an antminer S9, how long do you think it would be before it was too outdated to be worth mining with? Can you then use it to mine other currencies? Or is it only good for bitcoin mining?
  6. Any suggestions on what processor and graphics card to buy for GPU and CPU mining? Is intel better, or AMD (processors)? What about graphics cards? Any suggestions on which cryptocurrencies to mine? Also, what type of price range are bitcoin mining rigs that'll make bitcoin mining worthwhile and not just a waste of electricity? Would an antminer s7 (just over 4TH/s) be worth it? Or S9? If so, any idea of how much use I would get out of it before it was too outdated? Im thinking GPU and CPU mining would probably be a better place for me to start... Im pretty new to all of this. Trying to learn. Sorry for so many questions.
  7. Yeah I hate that tunnel. Im only down there every few months but I always hate having to walk through there.
  8. We shopped out a bunch of talent and are currently in the tear down phase of a rebuild. We really haven't even started the rebuilding part yet. Did people really even expect us to be 7-6 right now? Worst we finish is 7-9 (and hopefully it's more like 9-7 (knock on wood)). Thats pretty damn good, all things considered IMO. I don't like every decision McDermott makes, and he's definitely made some mistakes. But he is a rookie head coach, and he has a far less talented team than Rex had playing much better football (outside of 3 games). They are much more disciplined, their fundamentals are greatly improved, they've been much better at not beating themselves, and all the players seem to have really bought in to what he's doing. I've heard numerous players say how much faith they have in this new regime, and I Love the team camaraderie he's established and the fight this team has. His draft class looks pretty damn good, too. As of right now we are getting contributions from his entire draft class. White, Dawkins, Jones and Milano are starting. Peterman's played spot duty and Vallejo has been a solid special teams contributor. That gets me pretty damn excited to see what they do with their boatload of picks in the coming draft(s). The McDermott hate reminds me a bit of the Marrone hate.... he could end up with the same 9-7 record (burn his 1st Hera instead of his 2nd) and some people would be just as happy to see McDermott gone as they were to see Marrone go. You know what, No coach is every going to be perfect. They all make mistakes and decisions we won't agree with. But like Marrone, McDermott has shown promise. He deserves more time. I think he's done a lot of good things. He has a clear vision and plan and has laid out the blueprint to execute it. Him, Beane and the entire scouting+personnel dept seem to all be on the same page. That's something we haven't seen in quite a while here. Let's just have some patience and see where it goes. At some point we have to stop firing coaches and changing directions every 2-3 years. That's something a lot of bad teams have in common and I am damn sick of being a bad team... I'd love to see them stick to a plan for once.
  9. Well... I give them credit for coming back from a 2 goal deficit. That's usually a death sentence for this team. But damn I am sick of moral victories. I want actual victories for a change... Not sure who deserves more blame for that OT goal - Kane, Eichel or Lehner. It looked like Kane and Eichel got confused about who was covering Tarasenko and both just kinda let him skate by. Then Lehner tried his stupid damn poke check on a break away because he can't make a break away save any other way, and he puts the puck in the net off his stick (and it wouldn't have went in otherwise). Not like they wouldn't have lost in the shootout anyway I guess. Kinda kills the buzz from the Bills win though. I knew I should have ended the weekend on the Bills win and skipped the Sabres game. But for some reason I have to watch. Not sure why anymore.
  10. I hated the call at the time, and said as much, but I can understand why he did it. If they were stopped on 4th down Indy wouldn't have had to drive very far to be able to attempt a field goal, and at that point a FG wins the game for Indy without giving Buffalo's offense a chance to touch the ball again. McDermott obviously figured that punting gave the Bills offense a better chance a getting the ball back. And he was right. You can call it luck if you want, and there probably was some luck involved (which can be said about anything, really), but he was still right the way I see it.
  11. Unreal. We we tried our best to "Buffalo" this game and we won. lol
  12. Wow!!!! Ok McDermott, I apologize and eat my words. The punt worked, even though I still hate it.
  13. Just put us out of our misery already. It was a freaking miracle Joe Webb got them past mid field. They were almost in field goal range, which clearly would have been their best chance at winning this game. We need 1 yard and McD punts...
  14. This is a terrible call by McDermott IMO
  15. We stand no chance in OT with Webb as our QB. Unless Peterman is miraculously able to come back, our season is done. What a day for a freaking snowstorm to hit.
  16. Crowd is fired up now. I am too... lol
  17. I Love seeing how happy the whole team is for Kelvin Benjamin. It just makes me happy to see that type of stuff.
  18. Ah man that sucks. We have to move the ball here, for the field position (for Indy) if nothing else.
  19. Good point. I don't think they could see a holding call with the way it was snowing anyway. They should try it. Why not? Wonder if our coaches had this thought too.
  20. Surprised McDermott went for it on 4th with the field position the offense had, and how well CS punted. BTW Has Indy even thrown a single pass yet today?
  21. Afternoon everyone. Damn this is crazy, huh? It's been a while since the last time I seen a game with snow like this... Why couldn't this have happened last weekend against the Patriots?! lol It's fun watching this crazy ass snow globe of a game. But it does kill any advantage we may have had against a team with a poor record with our last playoff hopes on the line.... The playing field is even now. It'll probably be some dumb luck play that's the difference today. It still wouldn't have totally evened the odds against the Patriots, but it damn sure would have made it closer. Oh well, I'm still enjoying seeing this.
  22. Agreed. I'd be very surprised if Buffalo showed any interest. I was more curious to see to see if any other team would take a shot at claiming him. But I just don't see it with that contract. I'm sure he will get signed by someone pretty when quickly after he clears waivers though.
  23. Yeah, me too. I love that he cares so much, and is sooo passionate about winning. I feel for the kid, I really do. He really seems to be inside his own head right now. I don't know if it's the big contract or the whole team struggling around him (probably both). Hes not getting as favorable of matchups as last year either. He's playing against a lot more top pairs and 1st lines. I wouldn't mind seeing Housley give ROR more of the tougher matchups (when at home, at least) like Bylsma did the last 2 years. Outside of that penalty shot, I actually thought Eichel played a good game last night. He was our best forward IMO. There was a good story in the Buffalo news about Eichel and Lehner. I guess Lehner seen how emotional Eichel was during his interview and told the media he needed a minute before speaking, and went over to console Eichel. http://buffalonews.com/2017/12/09/after-ot-crusher-eichel-frets-over-sabres-inability-to-win-for-lehner/
  24. What an aggravating loss that was. That shorthanded goal was inexcusable. It wasn't an odd man rush caused by a mistake. Chicago kept the puck in our zone and moved it around/set up like they were the ones on the power play. That was just pathetic. There's no excuse for that. Then in OT Ristolainen does his best impersonation of Mike Weber, trying to play goalie and completely screening Lehner who then lets in a soft ass goal from the point with 4 seconds left. In a way though, I'm kind of glad Chicago put us out of our misery when they did. We all know a shootout is an automatic loss anyway. Watching 1 crappy goal from the point in OT was probably better than watching Lehner let in 3 straight goals in the shootout, while Buffalo wasn't able to score any... lol
  25. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/12/08/browns-cut-kenny-britt/ Kennt Britt cut by the Browns. He has to pass through waivers before he becomes a free agent. But he has 3 year left on his deal at $8M, $9M & $9M cap hits. Although he'd be a nice addition for some team tying to make a playoff run, I'm thinking most will try wait and take a shot in free agency. I guess it only takes 1 team to claim him, though...
