Question for everyone that I have yet to be able to figure out myself, over many years of Bills and Sabres games - Why can’t I bring myself to turn off the game even when it’s going as bad as it is today? I always think think about it on days like today, yet can never ultimately bring myself to actually do it. Why?! lol

It does. I mean, it’s absolutely horrible. Credit to the Bears though. They are also doing an excellent job against the run today. But it it’s pretty easy to do against this line.

Come on Peterman! Lets go kid. I want to see him redeem himself today, so SO much. I love nothing more. I just hope he’s not in his own head too much. Kid has to be pretty nervous I’d think.

The Sabres are playing some good hockey so far this season. There are going to be ups and downs because they have ave a lot of young guys in the lineup as well as a lot of new faces. But they are finally a fun team to watch again! They are actually doing doing the things successful hockey teams do. This truly looks like a different team compared to years past. It’s exciting. Yep. They got points in 2 of their 3 most recent losses. That’s something playoff teams do. They now have points in 6 of their last 7 games and were on a 5 game point streak up until Thursday.

Well, that was fun!!

Great first period (outside of the last few minutes anyway). I was hoping they’d come out fired up and I wasn’t disappointed. Now they need to keep their foot on the gas. They say that 3 goal lead can be the most dangerous (lead) in hockey...

But I’d have to look into it. I just happened to remember the Oakland story because I was out in Cali at the time.

They did try to sign him in the offseason. Steve Tasker said they had been trying to sign Anderson since the spring. It took him that long to agree. They also tried to sign Josh McCown, Sam Bradford and showed interest in signing Case Keenum, too. Each chose to sign elsewhere.

So glad Pommer is playing his 1000th game in a Sabres uniform. It just feels right.

That was awesome. Wish I could have been there. Terry Pegula looked like he was trying hard to fight back the tears when they show him while Thurman is thanking him (about 8:30). I love that he’s just a true Bills fan at heart, like the rest of us. He loved those ‘90’s teams as much as we did.
