Xbox has this deal going where you can convert an Xbox gold membership to Xbox ultimate for free (or $1). https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/gold/upgrade You can convert up to 3 years worth of Xbox gold. You can only buy a 1 year subscription from the game store, so if you want to do all 3 years you have to buy 2 more 1yr subscriptions from amazon (you get an instant code, then just add both to your Xbox account). 1 year of Xbox gold is about 1/3 the price of 1 year of Xbox ultimate so it’s a good deal. Game pass has a bunch of games (at least 100-200 at any given time, with some big name titles (NBA 2020, Witcher 3, Grand Theft Auto 5 (best game ever!), they even have some of the PlayStation yakuza series up right now). I’m definitely enjoying it, and for what averages out to $4.99 a month it’s worth it for me, especially right now. You can only do that $1 deal once though. So if you want to do it and get the most for your money just make sure you add your Xbox gold subscription first.

And he had a severe knee injury that caused him to miss almost all of 2018. I’m not surprised he had a bit of a down year last season. Hopefully he can get back to his 2017 form. Very nice depth addition at worst.

Yeah I'm in upstate NY too. My work has been crushed by this, so I feel your pain. But the experts are saying that we don’t determine the timeline, the virus does. IMO if we lift restrictions now, infection rates are only going to skyrocket and the economy could end up being shut down worse and probably for longer. The way I see it - the economy actually requires that we suppress this virus. We can’t just go on with daily life and ignore everything happening (hospitals being overwhelmed, tons of people getting severely ill, dying, etc). People aren’t going to go back to shopping/spending like normal while everyone around them is getting sick. From what I’m reading, the experts say we need to have a national stay at home order to get the virus under control, and during that time we need to play catch up - produce tons of hospital equipment and safety gear (masks, gowns, gloves, etc) for our healthcare workers and massively expand testing and tracing programs (see places like South Korea and what they’ve done). Right now, we simply don’t have anywhere close to the requirements in place to be discussing re-opening. In the coming weeks, people that don’t even know they are sick yet are going to be getting sick. We won’t even start to see the effects of our social distancing measures for a bit yet, let alone be ready to open back up. Look at the countries that went into full, true lockdown. Their cases continued to spike for weeks afterwards. Anyway... just my opinion from what I’ve read and discussions I’ve had with people much more knowledgeable than me. But I am no expert, so I don’t want to pretend to have any definitive answers. -
Yeah I’m playing a few games that I’ve been wanting to play for a while now but just didn’t have the time. Had a couple I bought a while ago, and plan to get a couple more off the Xbox store. Do you have an Xbox one? Or is it the older 360? Let me know if you want any game recommendations (and what type of games you like best).

@Hapless Bills Fan is much more qualified to answer this than me (though I already know what his answer will be), but going by what all the experts are saying, no. It would only make things worse (and potentially much worse). Here, give this a read: https://www.livescience.com/social-distancing-coronavirus-end.html -
Better Call Saul: Season 5 Trailer - 23 Feb

I got way behind on this show. I had them all recorded but My DVR took a **** on me when I was part way through season 3 (I think). I’ve been meaning to catch up on it on Netflix. Guess now I’ll have the time. lol -
Thank you for what you and your GF are doing. All you healthcare workers are heroes in my eyes.

You know, I was thinking... If Botterill’s job was truly on the line, I have to believe that he is safe for next season now. This is such a unique circumstance. It would be tougher to do a GM search and tougher for a new GM to take over. He would face so many unique challenges. I also think they probably wanted to give him 1 more year anyway, but there was a lot of pressure coming from fans and media. Now I would think the fan/media backlash will be minimal. People will understand. And when a time comes that we can all safely go back to the arena and watch a game, I’m sure fans will be flooding in, just out of celebration. I know I will. As much as the Sabres pissed me off I sure do miss watching them (and the NHL in general).

Thanks for the suggestion! I was actually thinking of re-learning Spanish. I took it in school and still remember a little bit so I’m hoping that make it easier.
