Not sure this is the smartest move for overall team morale/chemistry. Fitz was playing well and the offense was fighting it’s ass off for him. The defense was playing hard every snap too. They’ve been in every game. I could see if Fitz was struggling, but I feel like this move is hard to justify to the team if you want them to be,I’ve their goal is to try and win every game this season. I’ll be interested to see how they respond as a team.

EJ seems bitter about his time in buffalo. And he seems full of excuses why he didn’t succeed. It’s giving me flashbacks to his post game press conferences after terrible performances where he wouldn’t take ownership of his mistakes, and when asked about a poor performance would say things like “well the coaches said I did ok”. I always felt like EJ was lacking confidence.

I am in season 5 (I think) of the original dexter. It’s a great show but I did like some of the earlier seasons better. I’m going to eventually finish watching the original and then I’ll probably check out one of the new episodes.

McDermott has fielded a top defense in pretty much every season as a Bills coach. And had top 10 defenses 4 of his last 5 years in Carolina. Our defense isn’t playing well right now. They may even have a down year (though I still think it’ll get solved eventually). But I have total confidence McDermott will get the defense right.

This is just embarrassing.

Announcers keep talking about the bills making adjustments at half time. Clearly they haven’t watched the Bills in the 3rd quarter this season... 😂

I honestly can’t believe he picked the Sabres. This is such a huge signing. A motivated Hall is a game changer for the whole team. He almost single handedly dragged the devils to the playoffs a couple seasons ago in his MVP season. And this has to boost the entire teams morale. Especially Eichel. I was legit worried this would be his last season in buffalo, but not anymore! Not only do we have a legitimate top 6, it’s actually a pretty damn good one! Eichel, Hall, Skinner, Staal, Reinhart, Olofsson. Those are all actually legitimate top 6 caliber forwards. Not guys forced into higher roles than they should be in. Legit top 6 players. We also have a decent bottom 6. Reider should hopefully help improve the PK. Eakin should help add some scoring to the bottom 6 and IMO gives us a legit #3 C (assuming he rebounds from his down year last season, which I think he will). Then if we get any contributions from Cozens, Mittelstadt, Thompson, Asplund... and add in some expected growth from Dahlin + a second year in Krueger’s system... this could potentially be the best Sabres team we’ve had in years. I’m actually excited for the season now. I was getting closer and closer to totally checking out every day. Still some work to be done, but overall I’m pretty damn happy so far.

Holy ****!!!! I’m in shock! Hall really does love Krueger after all. Said a few times over the years that he was the best coach he’s ever had.
