In the speakers today: One of my favorite symphonies by a little more uncommon composer, Edward Elgar. He’s most famous for Pomp and Circumstance, the song played at every graduation ever. It’s a great piece overall, but I’m especially drawn to the second movement, which is like a stirring march.
