  1. Who is discriminating against white people and how?
  2. I have no idea what you’re looking for or what your problem is
  3. https://suhaasnach.pythonanywhere.com This is a play off of the “Six Degrees of Separation” theory popularized by “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.” Basically, you can put any two players from the NFL into the boxes and see how they are related and by how many degrees. An example - Bruce Smith and Da’Norris Searcy. Bruce Smith was on the 1991 Bills with Chris Mohr Chris Mohr was on the 2003 Atlanta Falcons with Bryan Scott Bryan Scott was on the 2011 Bills with Da’Norris Searcy. Three degrees of separation from our HOFer to a pretty obscure player. I did not make this game, but I found it fun to see how players are connected. You can do some pretty weird combinations, like Tim Boyle and Lynn Swann (4 degrees by the way)
  4. It’s really adorable when you try to explain things you don’t have any knowledge about. Like Catholicism. From that link I gave you: “SKYWARN™ is a nationwide program of spotters that report severe weather to the National Weather Service. Anyone can become a SKYWARN™ spotter for the National Weather Service, all you have to do is attend one of our Spotter Training Sessions. There is no charge for the training.” The empty table was where training sessions are held. You may notice that they are empty. That is because this season’s are done. And there will not be any in the fall due to staff cuts.
  5. So post one then. https://www.weather.gov/buf/skywarn
  6. No it isn’t. “Online” means it’s done virtually via Google Meet. There still has to be an employee at the other end.
  7. Yesterday was the NOAA NWS employee informing us on the SKYWARN training that there would be no fall training due to staff cuts. Today is finding out that a project we were working on is dead because of tariffs increasing costs of metal
  8. They’re human interest stories for a niche audience that exists but ignored by for-profit media. Simple as.
  9. Anyone with a calculator want to check these numbers, I think this is an INCREASE in the deficit
  10. His actions have direct effect on my daily life, same with any other American. At least he could do something cool and whip his dick out like LBJ did.
  11. He is the President of the United States. The most powerful position on the planet. Typically one that comes with some form of decorum.
  12. "“There was no law mandating slavery on our shores when African slaves came ashore in 1619. Did slavery already exist in the world? Of course. But not in the laws of colonial America at the time,” Kaine explained. “We could have been a nation completely without the institution. But colonial legislatures and courts, and eventually the U.S. legal system, created the institution on our shores and maintained slavery until the 13th Amendment. As I said, we didn’t inherit it. We chose to create it.” Sounds rational to me.
  13. Your mind is about to be blown when you figure out what field NOAA is involved in
  14. Why do you think it's so important for him to drive people into "hysteria*" *Hysteria here defined as "rational criticism of insane, insipid policy decisions"
  15. You better tell that to your MAGA peers on here who find him infallible Calling his dumb ass out is not “falling for it”
  16. No no. This is Biden’s economy. Vance said it himself. Unless he’s a lying piece of garbage that won’t take blame for bad things happening.
  17. That should be funded as well. At the end of the day, it’s just another item on the list of stuff us Dems are going to have to reinstate once we’re back in power. Arts and sciences are part of soft power. For example, we attract (or did attract) top musicians to schools like the Juilliard School. This benefits the nation and keeps us above other countries.
  18. Why is the President “trolling” people?
  19. Politico Pro is a tool for government workers to do their job better. US soft power keeps us on top of the mountain. A healthy nation funds the fine arts. Not military parades.
  20. Well you hear that everyone? JDHillFan said over the air radio is dead! Pack it up! The arts and sciences are the best use for tax money. Better than military parades, that’s for sure.
  21. Another fine contribution to the thread topic
  22. What would you call spending $150 on a Carhartt jacket made in Mexico?
  23. You must have been the wittiest person on the playground back in the day. Does this include Juneteenth?
