I don't think communism and socialism are the same but they're not far off China is a socialist Communist country Look at the definitions of each.. everything is controlled by the state or government ... Private ownership is frowned upon Sure maybe they have an election in a socialist country.. probably as much as an election as it is in Russia or china Everything put into a pot and shared equally has never worked.. people have gone from the ghetto to being the best brain surgeon in the world because capitalism works That wouldn't happen at the same rate in a socialist country, and that's why we believe in capitalism.. true socialism doesn't breed genius, and it doesn't build prosperous Nations

Again I don't consider taxation socialism.. founding fathers did not What they were rebelling against was taxation without representation.. we do have representation And of course I do think taxes for police and fire and water is a necessity.. I don't consider that socialism.. I just consider that society If we didn't have representation it be a problem.. but we do.. you don't get representation in socialism

Thats not technical socialism.. though I don't agree with it.. I'm talking socialism by definition.. Definition of socialism 1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods 2a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property AKA no form of private ownership.. everything is state government controlled Classic socialism

And that's New York State as a whole not Buffalo.. I know somebody who was murdered in Lovejoy a few months ago.. spend a lot of time there... Nobody would consider it a rough part of Buffalo, but I'll tell you right now it's not safe after dark Again please this is my home I love this city.. a lot of people criticize the place and aren't even from here This is my home, and yes places like downtown are beautiful now and North Buffalo is gorgeous.. but I have a family home on the east side... And guess what it's none of the above.. and it's a violent area But I still love it

I thought Buffalo wasn't violent? Do you really think Mayor Brown has been bad for the city? Do you remember all the previous ones He brought stability because he brought the city together for the most part.. everybody loved all the work that was done downtown.. he was a democrat but moderate... Articulate .. he wasn't divisive I never said he made the city very safe.. downtown is very clean and safe which wasn't always the case I love this city. It's the reason I live here.. but I'm not blind to the negative aspects of it.. God forbid a resident has criticism

I never said it had anything to do with cop funding. I said she wants to allocate 6 million dollars of police funds And Mayors do have the power to turn a city into a sanctuary City. And people are afraid she will https://wyrk.com/buffalo-named-most-dangerous-city-in-new-york-state/ Buffalo most dangerous city in New York. Not a 2021 list yet

How does pro capitalism equal any of that Police forces and schools does not equal socialism Our taxes pay for those.. and taxes isn't socialism Socialism is complete government and state intervention in business.. there are no privately owned businesses in true socialism Capitalism will let you go from the ghetto to a millionaire

Buffalo has been stabilized over the last 16 years under Byron Brown Hes a politician who knows the game.. sure he ran a weak campaign but he thought he was a shoe in to win There are a lot of business men and people in the community who are really worried about somebody who is unqualified with radical ideas If/when she is sworn in and depending how long she stays the City of Buffalo could drastically change.. it's a very real unknown element
