  1. To be honest that is the NFL… Talent margin between the players is actually pretty thin What sets the all pros apart from regular starters is the consistency… Every play every game to be close to your peak To make your bad day even be solid compared to others
  2. I can agree to that
  3. I like Washington football team it gets to the point and is poignant
  4. Everybody suck that last game Week 9 through January Dion playing good football He always gets better as the season Progresses I’m not calling him an all pro but he is the best tackle we have by far
  5. Dion Dawkins was more than fine last season … By the end of the season he was really good They don’t make guys that size that move that quickly
  6. Listen he’s clearly not in the best shape He’s clearly got a nice 15 to 25 pounds extra on him… But he seems to do this every off-season And he always gets into playing shape The one position I don’t freak out with in May… When they come in overweight… is o line … Let’s see how dawkins looks at the end of training camp
  7. I never said honing your skills in the off-season is not important… I’m just of the opinion that a lineman showing up a little overweight… When he always does that… It’s not the biggest issue… To be fair Dion can gain 10-15 pounds… And still do lineman drills in the off-season Is it the best look for Dion? no but it’s not my biggest concern If Dion suddenly can’t block anymore it will be a problem
  8. Of course it is But I would be a lot more mad at Ruben brown dropping 30 pounds… Then Dawkins coming in 15 or 20 pounds overweight Which can be worked on
  9. My friend was an offensive lineman for the Bengals He played at 310 pounds… Now retired he walks around at 225 … It’s like Eric Woods Weight drop
  10. I have no idea how much each player Weighs exactly on the bills But I’ve been in enough locker rooms I played division one football… I’ve coached and scouted "I lose, on average, 10 pounds per practice," Wilkins, who stands 6-foot-4 and typically plays between 310 and 315 pounds, tells me. Quote from an NFL player… I lose 10 pounds per practice
  11. First of all I never said massive amount I said they lose weight throughout the year… I said I used to lose a good amount of weight during football season And secondly I guarantee most lineman are coming in 15 pounds heavier than they’re playing weight Because you’re going to lose 10 pounds in camp… And maybe another five in the regular season If you play 325 most lineman are coming in at 340 And who says dion is ridiculously overweight? Have you weighed him? All lineman are coming in with extra pounds… Whether you can see it or not Because they’re losing weight throughout the process
  12. Unless you’re a skinny twig like Spencer Brown Every single NFL lineman loses some weight during mini camp and training camp and the season… Football is a grind I used to lose a decent amount of weight during a football season There’s no reason for Dion Dawkins to come in at his actual Sunday game weight in May.., Because he’s going to lose that weight by September… camp gets your body into football shape … lineman lose weight The season is a massive grind …it takes a toll on your body Offensive lineman are literally called big uglies for a reason And he passed the conditioning test
  13. Yea but that’s a heady smart play super high football iq
  14. Seeing as I own every madden and still have some from 20 years ago? it’s came along way
  15. Finna in buffalo is basically slang for gonna I finna go to the store= I’m gonna go to the store fixing to works also
  16. “The right hook is all in the hips”
  17. Because peaking too early …it’s a real thing It’s a long NFL season and being in peak shape in June does nothing for November or December mini camp and TC are there to get into football shape at a good pace … No QB wants to have his arm feel the best all year in July …. A quarterback wants to be peak performance in real game time that’s why QBs are on throwing cycles … sometimes they don’t throw for weeks …. And that’s so they don’t peak too early and have their arm prime in the off season they want it prime when it matters it matters how dion looks in october … not May ofc I would assume he’s carrying extra weight … it’s so he will be at his playing weight in September after Mini and training camp if he looks like that after TC… different story but he should trim down
  18. People want to take the best left tackle we’ve had here Since Peter’s and people always want to kick him in lol And he certainly could play guard but I don’t see the top five… because he’s not a monster run blocker … The lazy take is thinking he’s an all pro caliber guard He’s an average run blocker moving 260 pounds ends… He’s not moving 320 pound defensive tackles with ease We could’ve replace him for five years with an average left tackle if they thought he was an all pro guard…
  19. You don’t believe he was top 12 2 years ago ?? Giving up 4 sacks in 17 games ? Name 12 better LTs right now Josh never flinched off pressure from the left side because he trusted him … he was scatterbrain with the right all year … even when he gave up pressure from the left josh didn’t react because the trust … he never stared down pressure from the left but he certainly was aware about right side pressure all year the right side had him running for his life his demeanor said it all
  20. 2 seasons ago he was a stonewall he clearly in the top 12
  21. It’s not about how you look in camp… it’s about how you feel come playoff time Most smart lineman come in with camp lbs to lose
  22. He’s an offensive lineman they don’t look pretty … he’s never had a good body but moves very well I’m not worried
  23. I just showed you where the term came from I certainly should have warned you welcome to pop culture 23
  24. The only safe place lmao yea ok
