For sure the one Buffalo thing was kind of his moniker
-
I definitely remember it for the sabers But that makes my point even more... He's passionate... And the sabers are his baby He's not discarding them So he's a passionate owner who saved two franchises in Buffalo... And he's also put billions of dollars into Buffalo He's not discarding his legacy to get rid of the sabers
-
I'm pretty sure I remember him crying when he bought the Buffalo sabers... in The opening press conference And I don't remember him crying when he bought the bills It was like over 10 years ago.. but I'm pretty sure he cried during the sabers press conference And said how this was his dream

Even the best players in the world have coaches to help them.. and lean on other players You know what teams have good backups QBs? Bad teams The Chiefs had Chad henne who was nothing more than another Coach ... negative TD-int ratio ... A veteran in the quarterback room never hurts Any good team that loses their starting quarterback for a stretch is basically going to struggle
-
Anybody that thinks Terry is going to keep the bills and then sell to sabers isn't that in touch First of all he cried when he bought the sabers.. not the bills Second he would have a PR nightmare that would not go away in buffalo

You can be not happy with your backup quarterback situation... And also not hand Lance the number two job Both could be true This team doesn't need a project... It needs a legitimate NFL backup like Tyrod Taylor Experience, Conservative with the football, and can pick up first downs with his legs.. that's the type of guy the team needs as QB2
-
I don't know anybody that heard those hot mic comments besides the guy who posted the thread It coulda happened but I would like other bills fans to corroborate the story Again I don't think they're happy with what they have... But I think Trey Lance walking in as the number two is also stupid I think he would have been the number 3 to start he has no experience in the offense and his career collapsed That guy is not given the number 2 reigns

Reread my edited post .. I was typing and editing 5, 000 thoughts and you reposted as soon as I finished I think it would have been strictly to start as the third string
-
Beane said he inquired lol that means he got a feeler.. not that he was super serious about giving up anything serious Why would he be good as our backup when San Francisco isn't even comfortable? If we tried trading for him I think we tried bringing him in as a three to start ... Because he certainly doesn't know enough to supplant the QBs here right away.. There's no way the bills were comfortable with him as the primary backup when he's been relegated to third string by his own franchise.. he's an enormous bust I think he would have started as the 3

Van demark might be ready to compete for a starting job by then But I'd be drafting one early soon

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3
Buffalo716 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it's strictly by position If you're drafting an offensive linemen in the first three rounds you probably want to shoot for the most developed guy.. someone that you know can play If you're drafting a TE... I think it's perfectly fine to take a chance on a high upside guy like Knox with little production I think grades on a player are highly subjective... Because scheme fit and where you land also matters... Typically as a collegiate amateur with a good amount of snaps... Couple that with athletic testing grades... You can get a strong sense of their strengths and weaknesses and where they should fall in the draft But every amateur player getting drafted, has a lot of skill and can flourish in the right situation for the most part... Only a few are lost causes out the gate... Competing everyday at the highest level is a grind The NFL is 1% of the best college players in the world.. who became professionals...there are redeemable attributes for most -
Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3

And I certainly don't think Lance zerline is even a standard... But as far as pundits goes he's one of the more consistent over a decade So I was using him as an example of somebody that I knew really liked Tremaine Isn't that the crapshoot of the draft? Sometimes trying to calculate future potential with actual developed skills... I think Tremaine Edmunds is a good football player.. perhaps really good at times But the NFL also has a salary cap which I don't know if his contract is worth it We certainly drafted him based on physical traits and potential... He had good tape and I projected him that he could be an MLB But it was all projection -
I don't understand if you're trying to bash Dion or praise him But he's a lot better than most on this board think He's not a bottom 10 left tackle in the world
-
He has a lot of traits.. and physical upside.. He was really raw because he didn't get coached up the best... He's a long-term project with high upside who's already been playing pretty well He can be a pretty good LT in a few years
-
This is a Bills forum... Nobody cares if you predicted the bills to lose... You literally manufactured the bills to lose in the worst way possible... What people would call "billsy" Which is why I commented That's like saying Bills stands for boy I love losing super bowls... Which is the only joke I get in New England

Edmunds was a consensus top 15 player in the draft NFL network's Lance zerline had him as a top five player He was not a second round pick that we reached on -
No 14 points in a half ... When your an AFC favorite would be a terrible loss. Josh Allen's also a Hall of Fame quarterback on our side You could have easily said the bills lose 27-24.... But you contrived a collapse You literally manufactured the bills collapsing Nobody cares if you just said bills lose 27-24... But you contrived a story to make us inept for a half lol Corey Davis doesn't even play football anymore

SU has class as a college ...

Crazy.. went from consensus top 5 to flame out

Well not locked in I am kinda leaning Navy +20.5 I also like under 44.5 Nebraska @ minnesota I have Oklahoma -33.5 vs Arkansas State That's what I'm putting my most money on *** thank God I was getting funny feelings about the ND game and didn't bet it... I was thinking the option could speed up the game and limit possessions
