  1. Buffalo superfan is a unique gentleman Look at his ranting in my UB football thread... He still won't let the Buffalo braves go
  2. He wears that cuz there might be necrosis of the bone Which is wild that he is playing professional football People are going to be surprised by him with a full off season of being in the top four safety rotation... He's going to look a lot more comfortable with reps A very technically sound tackler... He can play Man from the safety spot.. and he's got a great sense for the game
  3. Neither ever really got big contracts compared to their peers I don't think either where ever in the top 10 paid
  4. he broke it 2017 which was his junior year And he was lights out as a senior
  5. I spent a lot of time around the UB program over the last 20 plus years And cam Lewis was a tremendous football player... Not only did he start on the outside... But he displayed great tackling skills with good burst... Undersized for an outside corner he was tough as nails with an ability to play the ball UB had him lined up on an island a lot He played with a club for a while during his junior year and still was banging He's still relatively new to the safety position but I'm not surprised he is stuck around for over 3 years because he is a good football player Read my brand new post below yours He's also new to safety... He was playing on the boundary at UB for years battling with bigger stronger guys He's tough as nails and beloved as a UB bull
  6. I thought the only stat that matters is the number of kids he could conceive
  7. Josh Johnson doesn't have 30,000 passing yards over 200 TDs Fitz has more yards than Ryan tannehill, Cam Newton, Tony Romo, Kurt Warner
  8. No ... But speedsters like Don Beebe.. and James lofton And DeSean Jackson... All kept their speed until they're 30s And none were as fast as hill
  9. There is a difference between fast players losing a step... And world class speed losing a step Unless he has terrible lower body injuries... He's going to be able to maintain top notch NFL speed till he's 32-33 He's built like an Olympic sprinter and those guys can run till 30s Losing a step he'll still go from 4.3 to 4.46 lol still fast af
  10. Fitz has over 30,000 yards and over 200 TDs.... Certainly , way more stats than a lot of bums who get paid The dude was in trash situations for most of his career.. played with cast-offs and afterthoughts And has 30,000 yards throwing Put some respect on Ryan Fitzpatrick He's ahead of Tony Romo on the all-time yards list and cam Newton and Ryan Tannehill Pro bowlers from Around the same era
  11. Are you saying bobby gets more or less than what they say
  12. When did cousins ever defer his contract to after he retired ? The Mets thought they were going to make billions on the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme... Which they didn't realize was a scheme So that's why they deferred his contract till he retired thinking they'd make more money... Not realizing the Ponzi scheme would collapse.. they would lose a bunch of money And the interest on Bobby's deferment kicked in... It was supposed to be 5.9 million deferred... Which turned over 20 million because of the interest I don't see how the Kirk cousins is anything like that
  13. They have barely made a playoffs the last 2 years and now lost a bunch of their best players in their prime Wilkins, van ginkel and hunt are all really good football players who are in the prime of their careers Jones is also young Howard is the oldest and he's 30 and he's still pretty good
  14. The worst season of his career and he still finished 47 for all qualifying cornerbacks passer rating against There are 64 outside corners starting For veteran minimum and a bench player that you wouldn't ask to do nothing more than platoon I don't think you could actually do much better ... Unless you absolutely hit on a fourth round pick
  15. Bobby bonilla deferred his contract... Until he retired Completely different
  16. And they signed Josh Jacobs
  17. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush Cam Lewis is one of the best bottom end depth players you can get in the league.. just his experience in McDermott scheme gives him so much flexibility and safety and slot corner and special teams The back half of an NFL roster.. number 45-52... Is typically back half roster guys who get turned around yearly Having cohesion and he can make plays... Is certainly better than another teams 50th back end player who has to learn the system Cam is liked in the locker room and by the staff.. and if a rookie beats him out they certainly won't keep cam over him
  18. Lets be real... Beane got a wide receiver in the fourth who just got a 50 million contract for 3 years That's a good draft pick that he made.. hopefully he does stuff like this for a long time Find good players in the 4th 5th 6th round which he always has he's definitely a really good wide receiver coach But There's really not a shortage of good one.. even though he is definitely on the upswing as a coach
  19. Absolutely He worked his ass off for a career... Started with waking on at Alabama and it took 4 years to get a starting job! Most Walk-Ons give up after a year or two after not getting a scholarship
  20. Without a doubt I 100% agree With the practice squad editions I think he's the perfect veteran who could slot into the number two outside role due to circumstances Affordable, consistent in his scheme and technique He could be a valuable third outside corner to a cornerback needy team... But he's at least fourth on ours
  21. It depends what you consider a number three.. are you saying starting slot corner? The third defensive back in our nickel absolutely not Could he be the third outside corner? In a platoon limiting his snaps.. in McDermott's defense for veteran minimum yeah In McDermott's combination coverage defense he's actually pretty astute because he has a high football knowledge and he's great in palms coverage But he's definitely physically limited and getting older which means he's better platooning
  22. McDermott would take Levi Wallace over Josh Norman The problem Levi hasn't been available Norman has... Same price point I'm taking Levi 100% now
  23. Over 6 years.. the worst passer rating he's ever allowed throughout a season put him at #47 for all qualifying corners He's also had multiple seasons where he's been in the top 30 and even once in the top 20 in passer rating against I think he's squarely a mid-tier number two in a platoon for at least another year or two.. with physical limitations that make him only a fit for 7 or 8 teams But those 8 teany who can get him cheap definitely don't get burned.. especially when they are platooning the number two guy to ,65-70% of snaps
  24. I checked and he was on the injury report for a back injury the week we played Washington Then he got suplexed by sauce Gardener the next week He may not have had a severe injury but I think he was playing through back pain for the last half of the year
  25. It's been a while so I can't say for certainty you might be right But he definitely was listed as a back injury before we played Denver... Then the next week he got suplexed by saucegardner And he seemed to get up slow the rest of the year He wasn't listed before... But I thought he was at least on that for a few weeks But that hit looked like it affected him the week after he did have a back designation There's a difference between being injured and banged up.. he could have been playing through a lot of back pain
