  1. Every single team holds stuff out.. like did the Chiefs have some wrinkles that the bills didn't see in the regular season? Sure Did they run wrinkles that no football players ever seen? No lol Andy Reid Sean McDermott Bill belichick.. I don't care who it is.. every single play in NFL history has been ran before football's recycled Greg R lost contain all day so of course he's going to have an excuse .. "they gave us wrinkles we never saw " Well guess what I saw it on tape two years ago against the Chiefs.. some of the same plays were Greg was collapsing inside into Oblivion that he said he didn't see But Reid has had it in his playbook for 5 years he just didn't run it a lot this year
  2. He's been here 7-8 years and by the time we've got to the playoffs we've had five years of being decimated by injuries I don't use it as an excuse but I also don't think we're winning the super bowl when we've been down three four starters for most of our playoff runs Again we had to trot out elam , one of the worst pics in the McDermott era... We lost our best safety from the entire season in rapp... If we could replace elam with Tre white who's now on our team Tre doesn't get abused the way Elam did in the playoff game by Worthy .. it doesn't even matter that Tre not in his prime.. Tre will literally jam the kid into the ground into Oblivion He's not running free for 15 yards It takes as much luck as skill to win a super bowl and the bills have not had Lady luck side.. the Chiefs last year could have lost seven or eight games in the regular season and was winning by teams missing chip shop field goals That's called lady luck... Something the bills have not had
  3. McDermott has more top 10 defenses.. points per game.. yards per game.. turnovers then Steve spagnola Sean McDermott has 14 seasons of being in the top 10 for turnovers... Spags has like 4 McDermott has like eight seasons in the top 10 for points per.. spags has like 5.. McDermott has like six seasons in the top 10 yards per game... Spags has like 7 Mind you Sean has done this as a defensive coordinator and a head coach Nobody scheme is perfect we haven't had the ball bounce our way the way we needed it.. as much as you need skill you need a little bit of luck to win a super bowl which we have not had Steve spagnola's scheme has plenty of flaws , I would take Sean McDermott any day of the week To lead my defense or team
  4. Doesn't the draft go through 7:00 p.m.? There still should be some pics
  5. I'm driving right now through Pennsylvania so I haven't really paid that much attention to the draft the last couple hours Did Bond get drafted? By who
  6. I think this is a great scheme fit... He played in a system that is similar to Sean.. he's tremendous in off coverage... He has instincts, burst.. a playmaker at the corner position which is rare The perfect player for Tre white to mentor Except that the University of Kentucky has arrested multiple athletes in the last decade for rape So I don't think it's a cover-up when they have arrested their own Maybe like ariza... Not a lot of legs run with the story
  7. Yea I hear you I'm going to watch a few guys but Matt Ponatoski is a rising QB from the East Coast starting to get high major buzz and he's still undecided but he has a live arm and I think Pennsylvania Ohio area is a really underrated area for football players Doesn't get the love it could Obviously Texas Florida Georgia California are the Kings... But Louisiana , DMV area, Carolinas and Ohio Pennsylvania have a lot of great talent.. then add Alabama, Mississippi The amount of high school football talent in this country is insane
  8. I hear you i get it It's nearly impossible for a man with a family
  9. I've been a scout on the road for the high school circuit the last 9 years I'll be at the elite 11 east coast camp next month in Ohio Do you still do the circuit?
  10. For sure for sure I think Stafford is definitely better in his entire career.. how much better do you think Matt Stafford is right now compared to 27-year-old tua? Is he much better? A little bit better? Or is the gap closing or widening in your opinion I think Stafford is certainly the better quarterback without a doubt... But for how many more years can he be effective with all his miles and balls thrown To me tuas fragility is his biggest question mark.. I think he actually does have NFL talent with his processing and accuracy and good enough arm strength The problem is what my old college coach used to tell me.. that football is a grown man's game, and tua might be tough as nails coming back from those injuries.. but sometimes you can be too tough for your own health he's also been pretty brittle... I can't remember the last starting quarterback who had as many question marks for durability going back to college I think the dolphins are stuck in mediocrity with him
  11. I love Tre.. one of my favorite players the last decade I don't know if he could hold up physically at safety
  12. LaVar arrington II son of NFL linebacker is going Penn State next year A lot of potential
  13. I knew Brandon Beane would blow it Armani Rogers!!
  14. Ofc rbs in college are undervalued and overused I played college rb and am beat up till this day .. I have concussion problems and knee problems Marcus lattimore was one of my favorite and it's said
  15. For sure that's not a bad take Running backs, especially the physically developed ones... Might be ready for the NFL quicker than say an offensive tackle The only problem with that is if you let the running backs leave after 2 years.. then the wide receivers and linebackers and defensive ends will also think they only need to stay two years Then you're getting a bunch of underdeveloped football players into the NFL
  16. Yeah McDaniel has a lot of smoke and mirrors.. but the substance behind it isn't that strong McVay definitely has a lot of window dressing but his core philosophy is stronger... He has a strong will to running the football.. and play complimentary Which magnifies all of the window dressing... With McDaniel you know it's smoke... You don't even need to take the cheese... But McVay has a better game plan around his window dressing
  17. Most 18-year-old kids need more than 2 years of development.. that's why they have 5 years of being eligible Not to mention the world-class facilities that the division 1 schools have.. like Alabama's facilities are better than any NFL's That's also a big reason to go to a major division 1 School.. their facilities and ability to develop you is better than any other option.. the 2-year League won't have the same facilities or money Alabama spent $113 million on their football program last year
  18. I spit out my tea Back to the premise of the thread.. I hope they keep McDaniel because I think he's decent enough to keep them from a top five pick... But I don't think he's good enough to consistently win in the AFC East Especially with the bills and a New England team that is getting better I don't think he's anywhere near a top 10 NFL coach
  19. It's because his recruiting status and tangibles He looks the part, he has a big arm, surprisingly athletic for his size... He's just missing some stuff in between.. I do think he will have a good season for Penn State tho
  20. A handful of players have houses here and are around
  21. But what about the people who can't pay tuition And they're there because they're a three-star football / basketball player with a 4.0 GPA from Gary Indiana And they want to play in the ivy League not ball st Yale beat Baylor in the NCAA tournament a few years ago... They certainly get good players .. and not all of their parents can pay for Yale or Harvard They have ways around it
  22. It's still D1 football Division 2 has a tough walk on process.. I don't care if it's ivy league it's still not easy Harvard typically does get a good amount of kids trying to walk on... I don't know about the rest of the ivy league but it's all division one football
  23. Obviously Sean McDermott was a much much much better football player than Mike McDaniel lol But you know how many people will say McDermott sucked because he didnt play 1A lol Some People think UB is bad football
