We are so much better off without Johnson these guys will never come out of nickel when he is there. The coaching of this defense is an inexcusable disgrace

Just have to find a way to keep stacking wins. No matter who we play, you have to take them seriously. Pick up where we left off and keep playing defense. The offense seems to figure it out regardless. If the defense plays well, we are going to be unstoppable. Keep playing fast, keep playing physical. Get up early, force 3 and outs and Don’t let this team get off the mat.

It’s absolutely crazy that you spend the whole year missing and waiting for football to come back and this time tomorrow we will have already played 3 games. It goes so fast. Anyone that has issues with more games is insane. I wish the season was 25 games. This is way too short

He’s been the 2nd best player on the team for two and a half years. He’s probably worth more than anyone will pay a RB. He’s definitely worth what they did pay.

The dolphins are going to play us tough. Their backs are against the wall and jobs are on the line. We should be able do handle these guys but I’m not going to assume blowouts here. It’s the NFL. Absolutely that’s the case. It’s nothing against him personally. I just hate the way our defense is coached. And while I think he’s nowhere near an all pro level player now, he’s fine. But my issue is the coaching. No arguments

I think it’s going to be an unpopular thought here but I actually think the love affair with Tarron Johnson is a huge issue with our defense. He’s a good player. He might even be a little better than good. He’s absolutely nowhere near as good as he gets credit for. Teams have no issues converting 3rd downs on us, guys running wide open all over the place and he gets hurt multiple times a game. The other thing he does is make our coach believe we never have to put a 3rd LB on the field. They never want to take him out. Him being out yesterday was probably a blessing in disguise. I’m not saying he’s not good. I just feel like the overall game plan becomes a little more sensible when he isn’t out there. The coaches think he’s erasing things that he just flat out isn’t. He’s not 2017 Poyer and Hyde…Yesterday was a great day for our defense. Those days are few and far between.

I kept saying we can do a lot worse than this guy at backup. Came in cold off the bench and throws a dime on 3rd down with zero fear.

I live an hour from MetLife and hate the jets more than words can say. The day he got hired I said he won’t get to year 3. They hired the coordinator from the lions that was in charge of the bad unit. I’m not concerned about this guy whatsoever he’s horrendous. The Lions defense was the reason they couldn’t go further and the jets hired the guy responsible

I can not put into words how happy I am that we are playing defense. Idc what the offensive game plan is. We have the best player in the NFL at QB. We are going to win a Super Bowl WHEN the D holds up. This is awesome

Dorian Williams is way better than people realize. And when I say people I mean the bills coaches. He needs to be on the field. I’m ready to say he should be playing as much as the other 2 guys. It’s time to make a move I really just wanted to get the information out there

Why are Jackson and Hancock inactive again? These are draft picks that were important to the defense this year. And we have 2 guys suspended and Ed Oliver is out. Our game day roster management is infuriating. Thank god we have Josh Allen

I want wholesale changes on defense. This doesn’t work. I don’t care what we did or how we think. It’s incorrect. I want to see 3 LBs on the field. I don’t care what that means for Tarron Johnson. Everyone loves that guy and fine, he’s pretty good. He’s nowhere near as good as they make him out to be. If he’s that important, move him outside. Stop letting teams run on you. Use a base defense. Blitz. We aren’t getting there with 4, I know what you want to do. It doesn’t work. Confuse the QB and send people the way Minnesota does. I want to see Benford following Wilson. Nobody else matters in the passing game. I want our best on their best. No more of this BS we do on defense. It needs to get better
