Present- Trent Murphy is better then people realize. He is not constantly in danger of being cut. He’s a very effective pass rusher when he’s on the field. If he’s healthy, he can help the team. Past- Doug a Marone wasn’t a bad coach. Just because he took advantage of an opt out, doesn’t erase the fact that he was part of this teams turn around. From 14’ on, the Bills went from a joke, to respectable. He was a part of that initial step. McDermott is better, no question...but people act like Marone was terrible just because they were pissed at him for leaving

Nobody knows what we have at backup qb. There are 3 guys. All with potential. Any of the 3 could turn out to be very good backup quarterbacks. Fromm was drafted for a reason. You don’t draft a qb, when you have a young 1st round QB and an already paid backup...they are going to give him plenty of chances.

Heath Farwell interview 8/16
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Roberts might be the literal best return man in the league. It stinks there are barely any KR now, otherwise he would be a great weapon. If we can ever cut down on the flags on ST, this guy could really change a game. -
Gunner's roster thread.... 2020 style - UPDATED
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like this team likes V. Joseph. Nothing has happened to make me feel that way, I just feel like he’s going to make the team and get a shot to play. This regime loves the guys they draft. -
Gunner's roster thread.... 2020 style - UPDATED

People on here definitely undervalue Murphy. He’s a lot better then he gets credit for. Absolutely he needs to stay healthy, but he’s a better player then most people seem to think. -
Is there any real training camp news?

I bet Moss is going to show up big, when the pads come on. -

Everyone always dogs the preseason but I really miss it. I want the most football possible. This sucks -
Your 2020 Pats roster...
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t see it. If the NFL plays it’s regular 16 game schedule, this thing is the same for everyone. I feel like it’s the only league that won’t have an *. That is, if they play the full 16. -
I know it’s impossible to put it on 1 guy but I’m going to repeat what I said, every week of last season: (First off) Beane has been amazing and he’s got so much equity built up with me that one mistake is nothing. But it was inexcusable to ever sign Frank Gore last year and even worse to constantly activate him for games. The fact that he got several carries in big spots is incomprehensible. The guy had been completely done for at least 3 years before he got to Buffalo. I will give him that he was solid in the Patriots game. But that in no way covers the rest of the season for me. This guy absolutely killed our momentum on so many occasions. No matter what we had going, Dabol could not help himself but to get Gore the ball early on downs and put us in a big hole. The entire thing was self inflicted for absolutely no reason. It was maddening to know that we had other RBs (in house) that would have given us so much more as a spell to Singletary. I am not sure how anyone alive could watch this team and not notice how shot this guys legs were. Somehow the only guy who couldn’t see it, was the offensive coordinator for the Bills. Holes were there. You could see that clearly anytime Singletary touched the ball. And don't get me wrong, I don’t blame Frank Gore. It’s not his fault he got old. It happens to all of us. And if someone wants to keep paying him, power to the guy. There was just no reason for us to ever have him here in the first place. You want him on the roster as a mentor to Singletary? I can live with that. Make him inactive and dress Yeldon then. In my eyes though (in this league) there is never a reason to pay, or even have an old running back...ever. I’m so happy that the Bills drafted Moss this year. I can’t wait to see what this offense looks like with 2 guys that can run. I know this wasn’t the only flaw our offense had last year but to me it was by far the biggest. Thankfully it got fixed over the offseason.

EJ Gaines to opt out for 2020

When are we in the clear with opt outs? Is today the last day to do it? -
Hyde & Poyer. The Best? These guys think so
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will just say, as a whole: the Bills secondary is the best in the NFL. All together. Between Tre, Johnson, Norman, Wallace, Gains, Poyer, Hyde etc. As a unit, the Bills secondary is the best in the league IMO. -

Damn, was just thinking last night about how nice our DT depth was. Oh well. Harry and Ed Oliver, lets get it. -
Seahawks trade for Jamal Adams
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can’t believe the Seahawks were dumb enough to give up that much for a Safety. Adams is really good but he just won’t make enough of a difference to justify TWO first round picks? How many games did the jets win with him? And you still have to pay him. After the way he was acting, I was thinking they wouldn’t even get a single first rounder for him. Insane. Great trade for the Jets (unfortunately) Our Safety’s are excellent and give us the freedom to do a lot of things on defense. They are probably the backbone of our team. They absolutely matter but it’s not like most non Bills fans know who Poyer even is. You certainly don’t need to spend crazy money on one, or give up ridiculous compensation to get them. The difference between the top safety in the league and a guy you pay 2-4mil to, is not enough to warrant those assets. The Seahawks are usually pretty intelligent. I’m surprised they were the team that made this mistake. -
Top 10 Bill Plays from 2019

The TD pass (to Kroft) in the Steelers game wasn’t spectacular but it was absolutely maybe one of the 3 biggest plays in the season. -
Any news on new deals?
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to BontitaBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills are pretty smart now. I don’t think it would be wise to be giving guys new deals THIS year, not knowing what the financial landscape of the league might be going forward. Probably not a good time. -
New Era name to be dropped from Stadium
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish it would go back to rich stadium and fire up the red end zones again. -
Is the name “reds” offensive? I always thought, they could just change it to the Washington reds and it would at least sound like it always did. Kind of like the devil rays, going to the rays. Nobody is asking Cincinnati to change their name now right? So maybe the Washington Reds...would be ok? Sometimes its hard to know what is and isn’t offensive in this landscape.

I know it sounds insane...but I’m not 100% certain he will even start in NE

What a contrast from the norm in NE. Go from Brady to Cam lol. Alright, strap them up...game on
