It is amazing to me how everybody is so sure Allen is going to suck...granted I don’t want to trade up for him....but I have no clue regarding who will bust or be a stud

This sums it up...that fact that 90% of this board hates the idea of drafting josh Allen is leading me to believe he might be the right pick.

How does this guy go from almost being traded for a 2nd and 3rd to zero interest

I want him at 21...or Rosen in a trade up.....I would be absolutely be ok playing Tyrod for another year while Lamar learns the NFL.....this guy (imo) is Michael Vick in a bigger frame and more accurate. Vick went number 1. I know the NFL is different today but my god this talent is hard to overlook. Ive seen him play... you seem to be missing my point. There is no doubt he had a fantastic year. I would just pump the brakes on making him the qb standard just yet.

Surrounding a young qb with phenomenal coaching and a very strong team will make any qb look like the standard i guess. I just don’t know why analysts like to put themselves out there in regards to qbs in hopes of saying “i told you so” down the road.

I think this just shows that while the qb prospects are good....none of them are great. That doesn’t mean none of them will turn out to be great...they just all have question marks. With that said ....i believe the bills must do everything they can to get up and get their guy in this draft.

I thought he mentioned that there are multiple teams that would be interested in trading back

Having another horse in this qb race is nothing but an excellent thing for the Bills.....I even would look into singing AJ as our qb moving forward. Solid college qb with a national Championship....

The way i took mayocks response about cousins was that he wasn’t enamored with Jackson and rudolph and was maybe politely suggesting the bills take a look at cousins instead of going in on one of them as their qb. I was half listening but that’s the way i took it.

This makes total sense....i think everyone has gone qb crazy and is throwing all the qbs in the first round...in actuality i think mayfield gets selected a lot lower than anticipated just because he doesn’t have the measurables....my jaw will drop if he goes in the top 10 with his height. It just doesn’t happen. With that said....if he slips out of the top 10 I would have to hope the bills think long and hard about making a trade up...at that point the cost would be plenty cheaper. This is of course assuming the bills like him which i have not heard any reports of yet.

The more I think about it....i think using our picks is the way to go. Rebuild and reshape the roster with cost controlled talent. If somehow we could get to number 2 that’s the only way i personally would get really excited about the prospects of a qb. Grabbing Lamar Jackson in round 2 would also be a dream but isn’t happening. I’m just glad I don’t have to make these decisions.

Interesting....if teams go qb crazy in round 1 there will be some solid talent being pushed down the board. Just don’t know if the bills can or should push off drafting one another year. I almost feel that if they don’t move up into the top 5 it may behoove them to just stay put and take BPA and see what shakes out in round 2.
