I want to be as level headed as possible in the present situation. Always said, I don’t care whether the Bills win by 1 or 100… it’s the same- a W! And the Bills are 3/3 in 2025. And of course, when you #17 as QB, EVERY game is winnable and you most certainly have a Championship calibre Team. Plus this year, you happen to have a low strength of schedule, not seen before that I can recall, this entire millennium. HOWEVER, In 2024 I tore out my diminishing hair watching this pathetic D being unable to get off the field on 3rd Down (30th rated)- regardless of distance, plus lacking two critical factors: they can’t pressure QBs and coverage of decent WRs is abysmal! As in, often they aren’t within 5 yards in the TV picture. I ranted and raved about those stone cold facts to my Bills’ buddies. The Bills obviously and Beane saw the same and heard me. But so far, in 2/3 games, very little has changed. The one critical positive is clearly, as they’ve done it for 25 straight games (NFL Record), is win the TO battle. On the Offensive side, this is a combo of Allen maturity and McD coaching. DON’T do anything stupid, because with your limitless talent, you don’t have to do anything risky to score tons of points. On the D, McD & company, has clearly coached all of them up on ball hawking. You cannot necessarily win the Lombardi with only that strategy, unless the overall talent improves. It doesn’t have to be the 1985 Bears, but it must improve. I am cautioned by another poster who stated: “As knowledgable Bills fans here have been saying for months, the team signed multiple significant defensive free agents (Bosa, Hoecht, Ogunjobi, Shaq) not to mention Tre White and Dane Jackson. They drafted 6 significant rookie defenders in Hairston, Sanders, Walker, Hancock, and Strong. They have a new Senior Defensive Assistant and Co-Defensive Line Coach. The defense was never going to hit the ground running... they are expected to improve over the course of the season.” I am going to go with that perspective, at least until late October, when most of the bodies should be in the lineup. So, let’s have the Bills keep beating the weak sisters by whatever, to line up for the next formidable contest- KC. The goal is to play in Orchard Park, as #1 Seed in October.

9/18/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Dolphins Post Game Thread TNF

The Offense is about as exactly expected. Unfortunately, the same can be said about the D, with 180 degree meaning! I am hoping when the PED boys get back, it will be half assed decent. -
Tom Brady: Broadcaster vs Owner Thread
Billsatlastin2018 replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
“It's an obvious conflict of interest to be an owner of a team and a broadcaster with access to other NFL teams.” THIS, ^^^^ No need to beat a dead horse. Only those unfamiliar with COI AND corporate HR codes prohibiting same, can’t comprehend this fact! This is an obvious black eye for the NFL. Brady cannot be allowed to broadcast or have differentiated access via FOX Sports to ANY Raider opponents. A decision needs to be made, as multiple sources have raised the COI. -
Josh Allen and the Stiff Arm

WHEN we were all starving for ANY semblance of order, quality, professionalism, intelligence, capability, etc.during the entire, endless lost years of this Millenium, I was with you. But NOW, the Bills are not, no almost never, inflicted with that stumbling, bumbling, fumbling idiocy! And they are led by a freak player- should be not be injured, will likely get to the point of being in the GOAT conversation of not just QBs… but players in NFL history! Given the prior substandard playoff performances by the D, it is normally ALL about him! Therefore, I do not want, for the sake of 2 who cares yards, taking a game/season or career ending stupid hit! Play smart 17! The Lombardi is just over the curve of the road. It is no time for a FUBAR! -

Agreed. There is a time and place for everything. Going outta bounds 40 yards down field in Game 2, is not it! Going down field towards the GL in the AFC Championship… IS! Don’t do stupid shite 17! (See Joe Burrow). -
Game week thread - Dolphins at Bills TNF
Billsatlastin2018 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
In a potential Championship season, you do not EVER look around, beyond or over this week’s opponent! The idea is to rack up as many Ws as you possibly can to ensure a Playoff Bye and Home field advantage throughout the Playoffs. To get to the Lombardi! “Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing!” Vince NO LET UPS. And to drive the point home- Herm… -
Week 3 Survivor Pool.......who ya got??
Billsatlastin2018 replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a much harder one- ATS. How hard is it? After 2 weeks, there are about 30 entries left of over 150. I have taken: WEEK 1 = TB WEEK 2 = LA RAMS WEEK 3, will likely be LA CHARGERS (-2.5). It’s not Circa, but it’s over $100 per entry. (Also, I am in a standard 2 legs, 2 picks per week one for $100 as well. WEEK 1 = ARIZONA & DENVER WEEK 2 = BALTIMORE & LA RAMS WEEK 3= BILLS & SEATTLE -
Look. As a Toronto & Toronto Area NFL fan since 1963 and an ex Bills Season Tix holder starting in 1981, Toronto wants its OWN franchise! They would sell out an NFL Stadium forever, as there is a quantum increased degree of money there v.s. WNY! There is certainly a million- 1.5M NFL fans in the GTA, but they aren’t all Bills fans! And the POS trash product from OBD for those games, was the same POS trash product that played in Orchard Park… for the lost years of this Millennium. Having the 2025 franchise visit is an entirely different question. Still, a number of Ontario laws, particularly around tailgating would need to change. in the end, they should have got a franchise decades ago and the rivalry would be intense.
