  1. I know he has played RT - any idea if he was any good there?
  2. His not signing yet is due to high asking price, so gonna say out of our purse range
  3. FA 2017 is still an infant...
  4. Given last year's production, I would guess Britt gets the same or more money than Aiken. Neither suck and either would make great WR3.
  5. ^ hey, we won the FB offseason already Gonna be fun to see Watkins jump over Gilmore when he falls to the ground in an attempt to tackle by tripping
  6. Disagree that QB is out at 10. So: Watson, Trubisky, Kizer, Mahomes, Davis, Williams, Foster, Lattimore, Hooker, or Adams would make sense.
  7. Gotta figure Watkins and Powell (who deserves more credit than he gets) are near locks for the roster, and Listenbee is very likely to make the squad. That's 3. Add an Aiken and/or Britt type guy and draft another. That's 5. Good chance Hunter comes back IMHO for 6. Either way, do not see Bills in a position to shill out the type of $ Bennett will garner on the market. I see us as set with Clay, O'Leary, Gragg, and Thomas.
  8. No way we keep only 4 WRs and improbable we keep only 5.
  9. Why not? 2/5's of his catches are touchdowns.
  10. I'd see LaFell more as a Hunter WR3 replacement than a Woods WR2 replacement.
  11. So we can all agree we are losing a Brown? Thought Klein was headed our way anyways, but this makes it more likely and necessary.
  12. New here too, but I'm going to venture a guess that you will be encouraged to use the search function.
  13. So long as this does not preclude retaining Zach Brown, I'm pumped.
  14. QB: Taylor, Jones, & draft pick at #10 WR: Watkins, Aiken (BAL), Hunter, Powell, draft pick in round 5 or 6 LB: Z. Brown, Klein (CAR), and Ragland CB: Darby, Seymour, Powers (BAL) S: Graham, draft pick in round 2 or 3
  15. More likely that we get someone like Aiken, but would have loved this signing. If you're looking for that Marshall-type of WR though, Corey Davis...
  16. Bar Bill wings are the best wings by far
  17. Might we have more spending money this offseason than seems to be the common understanding? According to Spotrac (http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/2018/), we have an estimated $61M in cap space next year with 25 active (currently signed) players. We know OBD can craftily draft contracts, a la Clay; leaving production out of it, the point is they succeeded in getting him from Miami. So even though our current cap space of ~$20M seems relatively small given other teams' larger cap spaces and the amount of players we need to acquire, it could be that we are able to spend more than it would appear at first glance based on our ability to offer more money in 2018. Just a thought on which I am curious to hear your opinions.
  18. It's funny because before having a franchise QB, I'd sign off on trading away almost all picks for getting a franchise QB, but then once you get the guy, I would sign off on trading down almost all the time. Either you trade everything for a sure bet to win the lottery or you accumulate as many lottery tickets as possible.
  19. No, instead of losing him for a 2nd. EDIT: or not losing him at all... Unless he becomes the starter, whether it be from McCoy injury or eventual retirement. And you're right - he has been a very valuable part of our running game. No one is asking him to start, but I have no problem with them asking him to come back and be one of the top change of pace backs in the league. I do think having him in the pipeline as a McCoy heir apparent is smart. I understand that allocating too much money to one position is a problem, but somehow I do not buy that $1M at running back versus wherever else it might go is going to change much. We were never going to be huge FA players this year anyways. I don't care if we didn't draft him - retain your own applies to buy-low FAs who have proven themselves productive and valuable to the Bills.
  20. The long and the short of it is that even losing Gillislee for a 5th round pick is a bad deal.
  21. Being 2+ years younger than the oft-injured McCoy, and producing at almost the same level, Gillislee is far and away worth the extra $1M tender, regardless of HB draft class strength.
  22. Let's focus on who Hauschka wants as a coach
  23. Gotta realize we have the chance to match an offer. Gotta also realize that giving him an extra $1M is well worth it to ensure a team doesn't come in and offer a Clay-like contract that we can't match. Would not be happy with losing Gillislee if we are only getting a 5th as compensation.
