Find me the guy who can throw for 4k to this group and rush for 500+ while leading the league in TDs That's what it takes to run this offense
-
They were just as banged up as we were too, I think they had 3rd stringers starting on the online...still rushed for 172 at 5.1 a clip

NFL feeding itself to the sharks (Private Equity)

Don't be fooled Your perceived sentimentality of the league and how it's viewed by the owners is a commodity to be profited from in and of itself -

i don't think so, not exactly after salaries and operations spending is accounted and you add in revenue teamsare probably clearing $75-$100M once the NFL sends over the TV deal check i think they like the fact that it basically runs itself...yes there are bigger returns to be made but I doubt you'll find much easier, it's very attractive investment imo the nfl prints -

You mean other than the product, the safety of the players, the ratings, and the league's overall popularity? -

The Athletic Survey: Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson?
GoBills808 replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
it's the opposite imo lamar is properly rated, allen is underrated -
I don't think it's going to be more beautiful 😂😂

I'd be very leery of allowing the opinions of players whose likely sole interaction w Allen is shaking his hand after the game color my opinion of his leadership abilities I mean I do believe we are in for a fairly significant change in offensive philosophy
-
I'm saying there's plenty of evidence to suggest Bernard would have been as welll
-
Correct I would expect the one game sample size teams to regress toward the mean
-
We've seen Milano on Kelce and it wasn't different
-
I'll rephrase if it makes you feel better Heck I'll even use a euphemism 'the Bills playoff defense has been the single greatest contributing factor to their lack of success' argue away
-
I'm going to assume this is accurate...and if so I don't even see how it's arguable anymore The only teams whose defenses perform worse than ours regular season-->postseason are sadsack AFC teams unlucky enough to get blasted by either us or KC (or both) and tomato can NFC wildcard fodder
-
I don't see the significance of 18mins like you apparently do Again the Chiefs went like 29mins w out scoring in the Super Bowl Here's a thought experiment for you- put our offense or even heck just Allen on the Bengals or Niners or Ravens and does KC have their current dynasty? I say clearly not The flip side is give those teams our defense and KC is going for the 5peat this yr 😂😂We put the Pats and Colts up there
-
You realize the Chiefs didn't score the entire second half of the AFCCG vs Ravens? It happens ffs

i know you don't want to hear it but it's true here are the postseason offensive and defensive averages broken down into ppg and yards/play with where they would rank respectively according to last year's regular season in parentheses: Offense- 26.9 ppg (5th) and 5.82 ypp (5th) Defense- 24.8 ppg (30th) and 5.75 ypp (30th) It's not too much to ask of a defensive specialist HC to provide something other than bottom of the league type of defensive production in the playoffs. i'm not saying he can't or won't figure it out eventually. but it's glaringly obvious and has been for some time now tbh where we lack when the playoffs roll around

Of course it is

CeeDee Lamb gets paid: 4 year $136M extension
GoBills808 replied to BarleyNY's topic in The Stadium Wall
they had to pay Tua so let's not include that in the calculus. nobody is getting rid of the league's passing leader i can accept that they might have bitten off more than they can chew w Waddle's deal but the idea that you don't want great players (who are always going to be the most expensive) on your team is for the birds -

Are you saying Miami hasn't won a playoff game because they paid Tyreek Hill?
