This is the real point imo You'd have to be absolutely clueless to NOT run a successful offense here. Allen can handle just about anything at this point...his ability to adapt to various systems is an underrated part of his game

Not to change the subject but this play is exactly why Kincaid hasn't taken the next step this yr and it's mostly between the ears Allen IDs man zero presnap but Kincaid doesn't. He needs to understand he's hot there and get his head around for the ball immediately and then just walk into the end zone. Instead he just runs his route, Allen has to tuck it and make something extraordinary happen

im actually looking forward to it also heck we've had great defenses that go to pieces in the playoffs before so why shouldn't we have a mediocre one that suddenly finds its form this season i mean it's only fair

correct although i would clarify 'historic production' to say historic production as a function of points/yards gained. I'm pretty sure we are dramatically overproducing on points relative to our yardage. Some of this is definitely a credit to Brady and the players re: cutting down on turnovers (although many, many people rightfully pointed out last season was itself an outlier in terms of negative turnover variance and this season is a bit of an overcorrection ) but imo the vast majority of that discrepancy can be attributed to Allen and his frankly one-of-a-kind ability to avoid negative plays (notably sacks) while also generating TDs and first downs at a top of the league rate.
