Disagree. Many of the problems in NJ (not talent related) were the result of undisciplined play & players saying the wrong things to the media. Rex is called a "players coach" because guys love to play for him. Guys love to play for him, in large part, because he lets them do whatever the hell they want. I hope that he has learned and holds players accountable going forward.
Fix that and game management and we just may have something here.
I think that's the main point of this thread. RI is the first signing, but, hopefully not the last on the offensive line. He may help, but, he isn't fixing the mess we witnessed in 2014 all by himself.
I wish this were true (in the sense that you're hinting at). My biggest reservation with Ryan's hiring is he has let the inmates run the asylum & that didn't work in NJ and it won't work in Buffalo either. Hope he learned something and has changed his methods.
this is absurd
Bitterness? Are you out of your mind? Bitterness? A guy starts a thread about Jerry Rice and you plop your tinfoil hat on and make a pronouncement about Bills fans & the history of the NFL and we're the bitter ones? As I said earlier, your shtick is old and tired.
yup. Just don't expect him to turn the team around. Bring in the best you can & let them fight it out. Hopefully the coaching staff, unlike the last one, will put the best 5 on the field from the get go.
