Typically I'd say be yourself, but, in your case that might not be the best advice. You can say mostly whatever you want. You can't crap in threads having nothing to do with your crusade. You can't crusade.

Speculation outside of Mallett and as I said, none of them is available today. Is the only certain QB you mention, Mallett, better than McCown? How do you know this? And, you didn't answer my question. This is a big "so what" to me. Sign him, fine, don't, still fine. We have to get better at the position, significantly better. There should be 2 new QBs on the roster next year & you have to start someplace. So, what is your magic plan to get these players & what does it come to fruition? You do know that good, really good QBs just don't come on the market? What would you do as GM?

What you say may be true, but why would they? We watch. We buy their merchandise. We go to games in droves. Why spend the money?

You know an awful lot. A promise? You do know that NFL salaries are mostly not guaranteed? You prefer EJ and Tuel to EJ and McCown? Why? He's the best available today. You prefer?

No, you didn't. Would it bother you if the Bills signed McCown only to release him if they got someone better? Would it bother you if they released EJ after acquiring McCown and another QB? What isn't a waste of time? (this coming from someone who said your exact words in off seasons past) This defense should not be wasted.

The combine is more important perhaps, but, the fan excitement (speaking for myself) is definitely lower because we don't have a first rounder. Trust the interview. That's something that will excite me. Who will the Bills interview at the combine? What players will they bring in for pre-draft visits? That will be fun.

They are not available today, but, you know that. Get the team better. Do you care if it costs Pegs some $$$ and he was ultimately cut because there was a better option available? He's the best available QB at this time. Sign him if you can and then keep trying to improve the team.

give us some "whos" papa. give us some options... Who would you like them to look at? Odd, eh? That's fine and dandy, except for the fact that you have a defense that's ready to win now. Are you willing to wait until 2016 when another draft takes place? Do you expect that unknown draftee to step in day one and take over? How long can this defense maintain its superb level of play?
