    IM(H)O they weren't given the opportunity to put it together. Meyer's scheme won out over getting the most from his team offensively. I have zero doubt that if Herman was still in Columbus that team would have steamrolled through the season. (But I digress) Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

    The curse is a combination of poor decisions on management (hiring), poor decisions by management (hiring), poor management of personnel (picking) & poor coaching decisions (hiring, player management). Until there is a sustained period (2-4 years) of sound decisions (more good than bad) your curse will continue. There's no magic wand, no gremlin (flutie), no demon.

    I'm just trifling with WEO a ;little. He seems to be a very "cut & dried" type to me and I find it interesting that he's on the other side of this debate. I will be very interested to see whether "stats" has any effect on how Cleveland approaches extra points next season.
