  1. Now what does Julian Stanford do and Corey Thompson do
  2. Revise 2013 value in 2017 absolutely it does. Am I here saying multiple 1sts and more like Ramsey? Nope I am using a 2013 value on a CB that was 28 and in a contract dispute to set the mark for a CB that was 26
  3. Started in this league So yeah that is something that our Backups HAVENT done. I am backing up my point, not saying my opinion is the be all end all. Should try it sometime
  4. So Very similar stuff we hear about most players. And yet those other player can fix themselves or excel in other teams. Hughes a perfect example. Much like Gordon there would me Zero Risk to claiming him.
  5. Only by Bills fans. and that should have been evident the minute he hit UFA he was signed by Patriots at 15M a year. a Tag and Trade would have brought what Revis did in 2013, he would have brought at least a 1st and 4th. What has Julian Stanford or Corey Thompson DONE that says they are better than Brown other than being Bills?
  6. Could be a down year, the fact is they initially in the offseason did pick up his 5th year option Maybe a change a scenery helps either way low risk move
  7. Who do you think wins out in a player disagreement between Beane and McD? Who has the final say in Buffalo. I am pretty sure I read it is McD. STRENGTHS Premier, quick twitch athlete with explosion pulsing through his hips and feet. Instant click-and-close action to explode forward and attack the throw. Vertical springs to go up and over receivers at the high point. Smooth, controlled backpedal with ability to weave and mirror route progressions. Plays with outstanding body control and balance. Feet are electric. Can overwhelm lesser opponents across from him. Instinctive and urgent in his play. Excels from press, off or zone coverage.
  8. We would have gotten at least a 1st. When Vonte Davis - 2nd Revis - 1st, 4th Peters 2nd , 4th Recently Ramsey 1st, 1st, 4th Conley 3rd So in 2017 Bills could have easily gotten what Revis got in 2013
  9. If we would have tagged and Traded Gilmore instead of letting him walk we would have gotten at least a 1st. probably more. But the Short Sighted McD let him walk for nothing (even though they knew they were blowing it up)
  10. I am talking Gilmore. Reading Comprehension is Vital to success.
  11. So prove to me I am wrong on my value of Gilmore. I love when fans question other fans knowledge when they cannot back it up
  12. Got a 3rd and a WR for Darby (lesser player by alot) He would have easily gotten a 1st. But again just the short sightedness of McD https://www.pro-football-reference.com/play-index/trade_finder.cgi?request=1&year_min=2016&year_max=2019&pos[]=cb&draft_pick_min=1&draft_pick_max=256&order_by=trans_date
  13. Yep same reporting model with Whaley and Marrone and Whaley and Rex
  14. Look at what CBs have been traded we would have gotten Multiple Picks for Gilmore to include at least one 1st. It is. Brown is better than Julian Stanford and Corey Thomson so yep it would be an upgrade
  15. He is doing what McConsrvative wants him to do. See that is the problem hiring the GM after the HC and having BOTH report directly to Ownership. If there is a disagreement who wins? McConservative does
  16. Did we pay 15M a year? Nope we should have Tagged and Traded, that is what a GOOD SMART Front Office would have done. We were selling out talent that year, why would you let on walk for NOTHING?
  17. There was a Work ethic Problem. Same things that were said about Fitzpatrick out of MIA. Get him in a different city and now look at Fitzpatrick. There is ZERO Risk and a HIGH reward (Like Gordon) they SHOULD put a claim in for him. Remember TB picked up his 5th year Option for a Reason.
  18. ANALYSIS STRENGTHS Premier, quick twitch athlete with explosion pulsing through his hips and feet. Fiery competitor with a strong desire to own the pass. Has quick, soft hands. Posted 38 passes defensed and 10 interceptions over last three years. Could see early kick or punt return action. Unwilling to stay blocked and doesn't hesitate for one moment in run support and against wide receiver screens. Chest-up tackler who runs through his target. WEAKNESSES Lean, wiry frame. Aggressive nature allows teams to bait him with double moves. Quicker than fast and doesn't have closing speed to make mistakes underneath and still recover on top. Allowed 16.5 yards per completion this season. Scouts worry about his height outside. Big receivers will pose a challenge on the next level. Had his two worst games of the season in SEC Championship game against Alabama and Citrus Bowl against Michigan. Willingness to throw body around in run support could cause him to break down. DRAFT PROJECTION Round 1 NFL COMPARISON Joe Haden BOTTOM LINE While scouts have voiced some concerns about Hargreaves' size and recovery speed, you won't find anyone who doesn't admire his competitiveness and consistency of production. Hargreaves has a level of suddenness and explosiveness in his movements that should always have him near the ball. With top-notch ball skills and exceptional instincts that drew praise from Alabama's Nick Saban, Hargreaves possesses the football makeup to become a Pro Bowl cornerback.
  19. Probably don't, But still put in the paperwork. Just like people though with Gordon and yet we didn't claim him either and Seattle got a top end 50/50 catch WR (man we could use one of them)
  20. We also let an Elite CB go for nothing so what does that tell you?
  21. I would claim him, and there are 4-5 players that can walk to make the room for him
  22. Dont need any of those right now Change of Scenery. Low Risk High Reward claim. I know they wont do it though and just shows that their claim of always looking for improvement is limited as well
  23. Yep his 5th year option (not guaranteed) so if he doesnt do anything or fit they can always move on. If he does you finally found your Solid CB2
  24. True McD's only willing to improve the roster if the player fits their "Process", "DNA" and "Family man" view of players
