  1. and he will tumble as well. I don’t care about the 40 with him as much. He isn’t a speed guy so means nothing to me. Will watch his 10 yard split though want to see how long it takes to gear up. I will watch those Shuttle and 3 Cone times though. I don’t want another James Hardy a big guy that has to make a living making contested catches because he can generate zero separation out of cuts. he screams possession WR to me because doesn’t have the long speed IMO. But that is fine as long as he generates Separation out of cuts.
  2. Ok so show me this DOOMSDAY on ANY team in the NFL that has blocked interviews. Until that can be done it means NOTHING.
  3. Tyler Kroft = JAG. easily replaceable and easily forgettable
  4. Lamb and Jeudy should be the first two off board. I like Lamb a bit more than Jeudy. now after those two it becomes a little muddled with Higgins, Ruggs, Shenault.
  5. Higgins is a long strider and takes a bit to get to speed. But he doesn’t need to be 4.5 otherwise I don’t see him in the 1st round. I want to see his 3 cone numbers and short shuttles. Let me see if he can generate Space out of breaks. Otherwise you have a big guy that makes contested catches because he has to make contested catches because he can’t separate out of breaks. And that won’t work in NFL as seen over and over and over again.
  6. Higher caps mean more REAL money into players pockets. So tell me why they would want to reduce a item that allows for increasing the cap every year? Players should go into CBA like this. Ok we understand you like to keep cap space every year for emergencies. we did a running AVg over the life of the CBA. That AVG comes out to 12M in space needed for your in season signings. based on that we want the yearly minimum spending increased to 95% of the cap. these are hypothetical numbers. But they should be focused on the minimum spending NOT the rollover. 88% of 100M is 88M 88% of 150M (rollover) is 132M the Rollover HELPS the players with real Cash IF they can get the spending limit requirement to 1 year not a 3 year rolling AVG. they need to be focused on REAL Cash not all this cap, punishment, drug testing, etc. as people say eye on the bottom line. Their should be eye on the slice of revenue pie and do everything possible to get close or above 50/50
  7. again people will come. There are 32 organizations at this level. Yes I am making it a standard. You have a window for free non blocking. That window is closed. You want to talk to my employee now it will cost you pay the pick you have your interview. teams like RAVENS have historically blocked every year and guess what they still get top end coaches. That argument is a straw man because it never happens. Philly same way. If I am the owner of the Buffalo Bills. Who made the playoffs I am NOT going to make it easy to help the competition. Sorry. And the RULES allow me to make it difficult so I am. you say it causes resentment. I say it shows the coach how much he means to the organization.
  8. it won’t. Teams will ALWAYS leave their 10M or so flexibility into the season. So if that expires that is not ever going to be spent. Allowing it rolled over means more space available to be spent on players while preserving what teams will always preserve going into the season. this isn’t going to change. what the players SHOULD TGT is the 3 year running minimum cap spending. That allows teams to really not pay. They should say nope it is a yearly running you need to spend to 90% of your cap EVERY YEAR.
  9. Shenault is gonna be sub 4.45. I am thinking he breaks into the 4.3
  10. yet they treat the players THE exact way I am saying they are treating the coaches. as I said coaches get blocked every year from every team and NEVER spins into some toxic cycle you are trying to say it will spin into. so again the College All Star Games have started. My Coaches have started their offseason work. All promotions are filled. Any team wants to talk to my contracted coach I am saying NO. Unless it comes with compensation. So Tenn promote from within or look elsewhere to fill your staff that is a figure head for The HC defense anyway. you can come back to me next offseason before the college all star games and I will grant your permission. otherwise these coaches can form a union collective bargain or work to change the rules. Their other option is take One year Deals every year that way they have their control.
  11. Fine. Unionize. Bills and any organization don’t owe them anything but their contract. as a direct competition organization you want to talk to my contracted employee I want compensation. otherwise change the rules. They did for HC and GM. why should the Bills make it easier for a team that made the AFC Championship game to fill their staff. I might feel a little differently if it was an NFC team. But I doubt it. If I am the owner I am blocking this interview (if ever requested) and not thinking twice
  12. agree that is why a talent like Shenault is a better fit than another one skill WR. Not saying Higgins is that. But looking at DJ reasoning sure looks it. because now Entire offense available without having to take Shenault off the field.
  13. coaches have a union. As well. It is very well known BB isn’t part of that union. The NFLCA could easily work to change the rules. so again the rules are the rules. Block the interview it isn’t going to change the attractiveness or draw for future assistants.
  14. By the end of the season is had the reverse effect. Teams knew when McKenzie was on the field look for misdirection, motion and jet sweep stuff. Foster look for Bills to attack Vertically. the one skill set WRs made this offense very predictable by the end of the season
  15. There are only 32 organizations that HIRE in these positions. Using the rules afforded to you as an organization will not change the ability to attract and hire. I would not block a coach ever if you are talking end of DEC and early Jan. But when you are talking End of Jan early Feb, AFTER all coaches have built their staffs ABSOLUTELY I am using my ability to keep my staff intact. College All Star games and practices have started, off-season plans have started. So at this point you want to talk to one of my contracted assets it is going to cost. They can treat players that way they damn sure better look at coaches that way. If they don't there is an issue. If they Coaches really think this is an issue they can take it up with the league in their next CBA or with the coaches and owners meanings. Right now I can block everything but HC and GM. And ONCE the college All-Star Games Start I absolutely advocate for ANY team to do it. Happens all over the league with premier Teams and they have NEVER had issues drawing coaching talent, so that argument really doesn't hold water, there are 32 organizations for hundreds of thousands of coaches. So my stance stands Titans you want to interview Butler (all speculation BTW, I think they promote from within) then we want your 4th round pick for that interview.
  16. What we really need is Legit WRs with more than ONE Skillset at WR1 WR4 WR5 We have too many ONE skillset WRs on this Roster Which is why I like Shenault in round 1. He can Be McKenzie with the Jet Sweeps and out of the backfield. He can be physical and high point (Duke Williams) And he has Speed (Foster) will time in the low 4.4s to 4.3s Now you have ONE WR that has the Skill sets of currently 3. Now you can still go get those single Skill Set WRs for WR 4 and WR5. but I would rather get WRs with more than 1 Skill Set
  17. I would not mind it. However with the way that Daboll uses WRs and the reason he has Shenault going to GB, IMO that is the right pick.
  18. While this very well could be a possibility, I doubt the owners sign any CBA that doesn't have this ability in it. Additionally, I do not know why the players would also agree to removing it either.
  19. Yeah we need a 6th WR spot for a just a guy, that 6th WR that is currently playing in the ProBowl. Keep dreaming.
  20. I get that, however I don't care, these coaches should be treated just like the players, They are assets to the organization and under contract. If Tenn wants to talk to Butler, say OK that is fine, it will cost you a 4th. That will tell you how serious they are about him. They give the pick up they can have the interview.
  21. The myth again. Playaction will work without a strong run game actually. and Yards is really not a good way to look at Run Offenses, specially when you are not showing attempts. Good teams can run, that has never been in debate, but Run numbers are inflated because when good teams get up in points they close the game down by running.
  22. Never bashed the city or fanbase or organization on the way out. So therefore I am happy for him.
  23. Like I said in his value thread. The reason people think he sucks is because of the OTHER WRs. The Problem is very other WR outside of Beasley and Brown are NOT NFL WRs. So of course the ONE guy that gets signed to NOT be a WR, gets thrown into that mix. IF Andre Roberts is lining up at WR you have one of three problems 1. You are injury Riddled 2. All your other WRs do not belong on the Roster 3. You are resting starters. I think it is easy to find out why Roberts took snaps at WR
  24. I do get that but as you know you can only help people that really want that help. He clearly doesn't, so those that have tried to help him have really two sets of recourse, Baker Act him or Cut him out.
  25. What is it with Hernandez these last couple weeks. First the Netflix Doc, then the ID two day special on him, there has also been three other recent Television shows about him in recent weeks. Must be timing all these in conjunction with the NFL Playoffs and SuperBowl.
