  1. wow, i wish i could stick with some of you posters but sometimes it's just too much. trim it down man. i can't tell you how many times i just quit on some of these posts. it's too bad cuz soimewhere in there, there is usually some really good knowledge or opinions. just way too many words.
  2. that was a bad draft period. i created this thread a little while back, shows some of the players available when we were making each of those first few picks. man, is that a frustrating list to look at! read down past the nyj comments. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...72entry198872
  3. no doubt man. that list is a joke. charles lee, cosey coleman, even quincy carter? yeah they're all more valuable then a solid above average starting left tackle.
  4. are you kidding me? now i gotta rent it again. oh well, i watched it once and returned it and was upset i didn't keep it to watch again. now i have more of a reason to rent it again.
  5. very intersting article. though my brain just shortcircuited half way through. i'll go back and read the rest later.
  6. is that some sort of "Buffalo" t-shirt she's wearing??? can't see the whole thing.
  7. great movie. really stupid, really funny. it's just about this kid in high school. he's pretty nerdy and goofy and comes from a goofy family full of losers. everyone thinks he's a dork but he seems pretty content with himself. i know.....it really is funny though. the part about the "tots" was awsome. the uncle was pathetically hilarious. unbelievably stupid ending that i could watch 50 times.
  8. anyone think that blocking for WM is going to be a plus for attracting FA Olinemen? next year when everyone has our OL ranked at the top of the league because willis goes ballistic, the new faces on the line may get plenty of props. ps. i like the idea of wahle if he becomes available. playing in GB is one of the best places in the league to prepare for playing in buffalo. i wonder how in demand he will be?
  9. Empire Sports Network, I knew you well. While our relationship distanced the last few years I was always looking forward to a possible rekindling of the flame. Your last years I watched you suffer and this is for the best. For some reason I had hope that you would make a turnaround, but your downward spiral was terminal. That has been seen today. I'll miss you old friend. RIP.
  10. any particular reason you say that? or is it just a gut feeling?
  11. i think that i'm really really happy that detroit snagged him 3rd overall before we had any chance of taking him with our 4th overall. MW may be coming along slowly, but feel SOOOOOO much better about him right now that JH.
  12. i agree with Snorom and Mark VI...this makes absolutely no sense. if we're gonna trade away the second round pick we (hopefully) get for travis just to aquire a BACKUP running back (i mean come on...WTF?), then i would rather just keep travis. and marks thoughts are right on the money as well. just a smidgen of common sense in new topics would be greatly appreciated.
  13. wow, this would be a win win win for all parties involved. for the bills: we would get a great draft pick. TBs got the 5th overall pick so that means the 37th pick for us...outstanding, hell their third (69th) wouldn't be terrible. not to mention that if TH turns his game up a notch, the chances of it biting us in the ass are less since we'd be moving him out of conference. for TB: TH along with pittman would make an extremely formiddable rushing attack. and with the minor injury problems both those guys have, they would probably be covered to have at least one very good healthy back at all times. it really would be difficult for TB to draft a better back than TH with that pick who could also make an immediate iimpact. not to mention that pittmans contract has got to be nearing its end (he signed as a FA a couple years ago, probably a 3 year deal) so this bodes well for the very near future. for TH: he would be in florida. in fact RJ stadium is one hour from where TH went to high school in Frostproof, FL so he would be playing pro ball in his backyard. that has got to be a nice thing for him. plus a natural grass stadium. this trade seems to me to have real possibilities. *** thanks to G. Host for the info pittmans deal is actually thru 2006 so he is locked up but with TH on board they always will have the option to release him if he doesn't work out. he was a very good back late this year but has been inconsistant during his career and, afterall, the bucs were only 5-11 with him.
  14. good show. i never made a point of watching it like some of the great ones (ie. seinfeld, simpsons) but i'll watch it on the syndication ever now and then and am always entertained. peter boyle's character is classic! a notch below king of queens but a good show nonetheless. can't believe it's been on for 9 years!
  15. Anchorman, while not as good as Old School, was absolutely hilarious! it made me say WTF? in a histerical way dozens of times. ie.... burgundy: what kind of musk is that? fontana: sex panther. b: it's quite pungent...stings the nostrils. f: it's got real bits of panther in it, so you KNOW it's good.
  16. man, that would be nice. but..... i truely think henry is should be worth a mid to high 2nd rounder. however, i think teams will only be willing to part with a low 2nd to mid 3rd for him. even so, according to alot of posters, this is great value for us. bledsoe is worth, IMO, at the very highest, with all the stars aligned and a team desperate, a low 4th. that's absolute best case. in actuality, i think teams would maybe part with a low 5th or high 6th to get him. so best case, a low 2nd and a low 4th definitly doesn't equal a 1st round pick. if a team had a low 2nd and wanted to move up to mid-2nd, it would probably cost a 4th. (wasn't that the case when we moved up 2 spots to pick denney in the 2nd?) so with all that said, i think bledsoe and henry could, under the right circumstances, yield a mid to high 2nd round pick.
  17. The Police Live, 2 cd set. 1st disc is a concert in Boston at the Orpheum theater in 1979 before they were popular and obviously is alot of thier old stuff. 2nd disc is at the Omni in Atlanta in 1983 during thier Synchronicty tour. Both are fantastic.
  18. They're pretty damn bad but i unfortunately can't forget that bills special teams unit "led" by ronnie jones (WTF) that made me want to vomit when ever they took the field.
  19. i've heard this girl talk and i don't think she knows that she doesn't have any talent, is only famous because of her sister and because her father has connections in the pop music biz, that people are almost embarassed for her cuz she looks and sound ridiculous when she performs, and that she's simply riding the fortunate wave of success that has been handed to her??? she seems to think that she's a true "rocker". that she's far removed from pop music and is one of the great singer/songwriters of our era whose "contributions" to the music industry will last and last. ignorance truely is bliss.
  20. again...calm down. i think they're legitimate mental errors that he can and should correct. you don't. seems like in your mind he's as good as he'll ever be. i think he can be even better. sorry if i offended you. just offering my opinion.
  21. alright calm down. i guess i did a poor job of making a point. nate clements is awsome. i like him alot. he makes plays that other guys just aren't capable of making. but without those bonehead plays he would be a top 5 corner in this league. ONE you say? as good as he is he sometimes is looking to make the highlight reel rather than make the best play for the team to win. here's 3 off the top of my head that put the team in BAD spots. - last play of jax game when he went for int instead of batting ball down. bills lose on that play. - ne (i think) when he had the fumble recovery but felt the need to try to pick it up on the run and scamper to the endzone. ended up with nothing. bills don't get the ball. - fumble on return vs pitt when he tried to take off before he had posession. ball on our own 20, pitt TD. i know, i know. he screws these up because he's trying to make the big play, which he often does make. that's why i like him alot. but sometimes thoe bad play can be devastating to the TEAM. with all that said, congrats to nate on some well deserved recognition. if he fixes those mental errors, he will be a fixture in hawaii.
  22. let me say it again.... now IMAGINE how incredible he'd be if he cut out all those stupid "ooh boy this should get me on nfl primetime ton....argggh, woops, aw sh--" plays. no doubt bad comes with the good but his bad plays are absolutely and completely correctable with an attitude adjustment.
  23. now imagine how incredible he'd be if he cut out all those stupid "ooh boy this should get me on nfl primetime ton....argggh, woops, aw sh--" plays.
  24. i really hope your trying to be funny with this comparison.
  25. sad....but i thought the EXACT same thing when i read the article. i really hope it does happen but livin in this area makes you pretty pessimistic about these types of plans.
