  1. hi everyone. i'm looking for some info. I am in the midst of a home renovation project in the kenmore, ny area and am preparing to have the entire interior drywalled. i've pretty much done every facet of the project on my own but want to leave the drywalling up to some experienced pros. i have about 6000 square feet to have done and am wondering if anyone here does that kind of work or can recommend someone in the area to do it. so far my estimates have been alot more than they should be. it's been difficult finding someone reliable and reasonable to do the work. if anyone has any suggestions they are all welcome. thanks in advance.
  2. that would be phenomenal! but in the real world it goes something like this. moulds for a 2nd (maybe low 1st from a desperate team) henry for a 2nd or 3rd bledsoe for a bag of jock straps.
  3. at this point....no one should be safe. if it improves our team i am for it. i think a second rounder would be the minimum asking price for EM. otherwise i would rather keep him. if we could get a O or D lineman with the same talent level as EM in trade i think we'd also be better off. i would be concerned with the cap hit as he's in the middle of a 7 year deal with that big SB.
  4. gee thanks.....you made me ruin my keyboard when i sprayed orange crush all over it from laughing so hard when i read this post.
  5. anyone know of a good free disk defragmenter? i used to use O&O but they charge for that now. i don't like the one packaged with windows.
  6. these coaches are pros right? they supposedly eat , sleep, and breathe this game. they should know better than me what to do in certain situations...right? well, when we were faced with 4th down i thought it was automatic that they would go for it. i was in disbelief that they kicked the FG. am i missing something here? if we went for the TD and made it, we would've only needed 1 TD to tie. if we went for it and didn't make it, we would've needed 2 TDs to tie. the field goal put us down by 11...we still needed 2 TDs!!! with another TD and FG we would still be down. can someone please give me one good reason why we kicked the field goal to give us 6 pts???? i understand the whole "points on the board" argument but in this case it seemed to do nothing to help our position to win. how many more chances did mularky think we would have in the red zone against that defense?????
  7. if someone hasn't already jumped on a guy who has run for no less than 175 yards in each of his two starts and a fill in who has more total yards than almost any rb during his time, then please let me be in your league next year. ps. if mcgahee was a sure fire start i'd go with him. but i'd start taylor just because he's guaranteed to get the lions share of the workload and they have a pretty damn good OL.
  8. i'd be tempted to make that trade but you should be able to squeeze out a little bonus along with willis. taylors proven, hes running hard and getting good yards. needs to find the endzone more but wg has 0 tds so... maybe a good defense (or one better then your current) or a third reciever. a good bonus would seal the deal for me.
  9. drop price first. pick up clayton with porter if you get driver. clayton has looked damn good and is super talented. needs to find the endzone more often to really shoot up his value but his yardage is good and he's getting the chances and that's the important thing. he had 8 catches last night but was thrown the ball almost a dozen times.
  10. great post....now can you do the same for both presidential candidates for me? actually one very very impacting move (IMHO) that TD made that you didn't mention was the phase out and eventual release of director of player personnel Dwight Adams. DA had a SOLID record in his 15 or so years participating in player drafts for the Buffalo Bills. I think he had a major say in TDs first draft (which as you mentioned was his best) and then lost clout each year till he was let go. DA was a great guy, and someone I think made this franchise better. we have gotton worse since his departure.
  11. Thane Gash. I think he was a safety for the Browns in the early 90's.
  12. how does that work? Most states recognize other state licenses, and will transfer another state license to their state but will not let you stay licenced in both. did you actually have to pass driving tests in all those states to avoid handing in one of your other licences??
  13. if you can get past the whole transvestite aspect of the movie Hedwig and the Angry Inch was a really good rock musical with a hilarious plot and awsome music.
  14. i agree that if he does end up somewhere else, it will probably be dallas. what do we get in return? can we possibly squeak out a third round pick or am i just dreaming?
  15. ok, i'll be the first to say i've had it done. not fun...but not as horrible as i imagined. actually, the worse part was cleaning out the system the day before with those oral enemas. i spent the whole day in the john. good luck. hope it's nothing serious.
  16. Make that LDEs... Just read that Gallery is going to be starting at right tackle for oakland this week. i hope that denney and kelsey bring their A-game. whatever happens they WILL be featured on espn primetime when they show how gallery performs in his first ever start. is this a chance for one of our two LDEs to have a top notch game, or is gallery gonna prove why he was the first OL taken?
  17. I think that TD grossly undervalues kickers for whatever reason. I'm sure he'd like to have a top one, but only for little hit on the salary cap and giving up nothing to get one. this is BS. Just once I'd like our team to invest something in a kicker. what's wrong with taking one of those day 2 draft picks and using it on a great prospect. hell, enough of those day 2 picks TD has made don't pan out anyway, what's the risk? the reward could be great.
  18. i'm not happy with the loss either but come on. why exactly should we have killed the jags? they were about the same team as us last year and had continuity on their side going into this game. i expected a win but am not shocked that we lost in a close one. the billls will probably be an average team this year and so will the jags. every team loses....you think the bucs, ravens, and 'boys are hangin their heads...no way, it's back to work. ps. if we were hurting at wr as much as TB is, then Evans might have had 10 balls thrown his way as well. also, if GW got the game ball as HC then that MIGHT mean something.
  19. got this from one of my fantasy newsletters. thought it was quite complementary to schobels value. "The Bills had a fever, and the only prescription was more Schobel, baby. Aaron is one of the most underrated pass rushers in fantasy leagues that include individual defensive players." though it speaks of his fantasy value, i believe it is a reflection of his overall value as well. he's underated and compared to other recent DE contracts (winstrom, 14M sb - 4, 7 sacks the last two years) it is very reasonable.
  20. yep, this is how every survivor pool i've been in works. otherwise no one would ever win. everyone would be picking the top 3-4 teams every week. it would go on forever. your new strategy is good though. that is what i try to do. however...i said TRY to do. there is no shame in using the top teams first. once you're out, you're out. so if you never get a chance to use a top team it's a waste. use the "sure things" first and maybe everyone else will be out before you have to get too creative on your picks. go for the wins now. all things seeming equal, go for the lesser team playing the worse team.
  21. what else was interesting was that SG said that the entire offense wanted Les Steckle to be handed the reigns to the offense midway through the season. They clammored for this. They thought they could go to the playoffs with Steckle calling the plays. He also said that the offensive players knew there were BIG problems coming after game 4 or 5!!! Thats after the two big wins in weeks 1 & 2, which he said was just alot of smoke and mirrors. Most of us were saying the same thing last year and did not even have the benefit of this insight. How could GW drop the ball on such and obvious decision. He HAD to know he was putting his job in jeopardy. Maybe he just didn't enjoy being here?
