  1. You don't appear to have any facts or stats, or any understanding whatsoever of how a national poll works.
  2. I think you grossly underestimate how unpopular Donald Trump is and you grossly underestimate how many voters there are that don't vote in primaries. In Iowa in 2016 roughly 350,000 votes were cast in the Democratic and Republican caucuses. In the general election, 1.4 million people voted. An increase of over 1 million people. I think Trump needs everything to go right in a year's time like it did in 2016. The Democrats in 2016 were way too arrogant in assuming Hilary would win. This time they won't make the same mistakes, and they'll pour all of their resources into flipping Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin (three states Trump collectively won by roughly 70k votes). Saying Biden, who leads Trump by 10 or more points in essentially every poll, has no chance is just crazy talk at this point.
  3. So the independent voters, who have supposedly been called racists for 3 years, are going to turn out and vote in the democratic primaries.... for who? What you're saying doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
  4. Again, Hilary was projected to win the popular vote by 3 points, and she won it by 2. You're delusional if you think that constitutes something fake. Independents don't vote in primaries, and the independents will be the ones who decide the election.
  5. The polls aren't fake. In 2016 Hilary was ahead by 3 points. She won the popular vote by 2 points, but polling didn't account for the electoral college. Right now Biden leads Trump by 8-15 points in pretty much every poll that's come out. If he wins the popular vote by that type of margin, Trump is going to get annihilated in the electoral college.
  6. He'd lose voters, but he wouldn't lose his base. They'd keep rocking their MAGA hats proudly.
  7. Thanks! Nothing back handed. He's played okay, although I think the Giants have one of the worst defenses in the league. Cincinnati should be a nice match up for him after watching the 49ers blow them out in Cinci. Then the real test will come against New England. My biggest issue with the offense so far is personnel and play calling. I think we should be running the ball more. I also think Devin Singletary should be getting the lion's share of the touches at RB, and I think we should cut Zay Jones who is completely useless and give his reps to Robert Foster who we know can stretch the field. She just slept through the night 4 days in a row so we're praying that continues because up until now it hasn't been good (short naps, up multiple times overnight). Hoping things improve for you like they have for us.
  8. Yeah. 50,000 people protesting plant closures and jobs moving to Mexico as GM looks to cut costs. True. Things should get under control when the economy goes into a recession, revenues fall and the deficit balloons to around $1.5 trillion a year.
  9. I'm still here. Just have a lot more on my plate with a new baby and new responsibilities at work. It's way too early to tell if he'll succeed long term but he's been better this year, particularly on 3rd down. He's still got a long way to go though.
  10. Remember when Trump said he'd eliminate the deficit?
  11. Then why is he ahead by 10 points in most polls? Meanwhile 50,000 GM workers are striking due to plant closures as GM moves production to Mexico. I agree that people voted for these reasons in 2016, but I'm not sure they'll vote that way again.
  12. Zay Jones needs to be cut. He's completely useless out there. Get rid of him and give Robert Foster his reps. At least we know Foster can get behind a defense and stretch the field.
  13. Neither candidate wins a general election by getting their base out. They win by winning over independents. Joe Biden is well ahead in every poll against Trump because he's safe, which resonates with independent voters who will decide the election.
  14. I don't think Biden is the best candidate, but losing 2 of 3 doesn't matter. He could easily walk away from those 3 races with the most delegates, even if he doesn't get the most votes in 2 of them. "Zero chance" despite leading Trump by 8-15 points in pretty much every poll.
  15. You can't retrain a work force as quickly as these jobs will be replaced. Think of how many republican truck drivers there are out there. They'll all be out of business within 20 years due to self driving vehicles. They won't just go back to college.
  16. Even if used correctly everytime, which they aren't, a 2% failure rate will result in a ton of unwanted pregnancies.
  17. It's too early for this platform, but in 20 years universal income will make sense as most jobs requiring little education are replaced by technology across a variety of fields. By then, tens of millions of jobs people rely on now for income will be replaced by computers and robots.
  18. If used correctly, which they're not all the time. Also, think about how many millions of times Americans have sex each year. 2% of those encounters results in a LOT of unplanned babies.
  19. I thought you were talking about a different round.
  20. I was referring to a .22 as a .22 LR. I consider a .223 to be a completely different bullet. It's much heavier and much more powerful. The vast majority of Americans agree with him based off current polling.
  21. Good post. Simply put, Cam has never been a good passer. A career QB Rating of 86 pretty clearly shows that. What he has been is a good dual threat QB because he was such an incredible runner early in his career. However, as the injuries and concussions have piled up, he seems less willing to put his body on the line, and if defenses can rush him like they would a regular QB, vs having to play contain and keep him in the pocket, he's going to have less time to throw, and they're going to do what we've seen from other QBs in the past where they make a running QB "play Quarterback". As you said, Cam has never been a field general. He's been a play maker at the QB position, which is different. If he's asked to drop back 50 times like he did yesterday, with that supporting cast, he's going to struggle badly. He's not that type of player, and as you said he hasn't progressed enough on the mental side of the game to make up for his deficiencies reading the field and throwing with accuracy.
  22. We were talking about .22 calibre rounds, not .223. There's a major difference. As for Beto's argument, no one is walking into a WalMart with a 5 round .270 hunting rifle that's semi automatic or bolt action. There's a reason pretty much every mass shooting in the US is conducted with the same type of weapon.
  23. LMAO Is Canada communist? Is France communist? Is the UK communist? Is Japan communist? Having universal healthcare does not mean a country is communist. That's not a real thing.
