  1. They had 5 sacks. A few were the result of our QBs holding the ball too long. The last play they got a ton of pressure and got a tipped pass for an interception. How many of their defensive front seven starters would start for us? Their defense is very good, but I view ours as much better. Our defense is up their with Chicago as the best in the league.
  2. Their secondary is good. Looking at their front seven, I'm not sure they have anyone who would start in our defensive front seven.
  3. The Pats don't have a great defense.
  4. Brady took what was there, which was next to nothing. Our defense is outstanding. Brady, unlike Allen, knows when to not throw the ball into coverage. Way to contradict yourself. LMAO
  5. Like I said, football is a team sport.
  6. Brady made one bad throw all day that was intercepted. The rest of the day he was moved off his spot, and uncomfortable in the pocket. His receivers were well covered and there were hardly any plays for his offense to make throughout the day. Brady knows how to take care of the football. Because he did that today, his team won the game. Our defense was outstanding today, and we held them to 9 points, yet we lost the game because our offense turned the ball over so many times.
  7. You act like Allen was playing great the first 3 weeks. News flash! He wasn't. When Allen has been good this year, he's been okay. When he's been bad, he's been really bad.
  8. Yeah. The offensive line aren't the ones voluntarily throwing into double coverage. The interceptions are all a direct result of Allen making terrible decisions. And yes it does matter. We have arguably the best defense in the league. There's no reason we shouldn't have lost today.
  9. Football is a team game.
  10. Agreed. He makes the same mistakes week in and week out. There's no evidence on the field he's learning anything from his mistakes.
  11. Playing teams with a cumulative record of 0-9 might have played a part in that.
  12. Is it "crappola" if it's all true? I've been here for the past month. Said Allen played well reasonably well multiple times and I wanted to see him against a real opponent.
  13. We should be 4-0 right now. We should be considered a Super Bowl contender given how good the defense is.
  14. Why can't anyone have a conversation about how our QB has been one of the worst starters in the league this year? Why is this just being dismissed?
  15. Yup. Elite defense, very good running game, decent receivers, and a good OL. We just need a QB who doesn't make so many mistakes.
  16. Allen is currently 32nd in the NFL in QB Rating. He hasn't been good all year. His decision making has been poor week in and week out.
  17. There's nothing emotional about this. Allen isn't a good QB. As things stand he's one of the worst starters in the league relative to his peers. He routinely makes terrible decisions with the football, forcing passes into double coverage, throwing off his back foot, and throwing balls back across the middle when rolling right. He does these things multiple times everytime he takes the field. At this point there's minimal evidence that he's learning from his mistakes. It's not like he's had bad luck or anything. He's got a better line, better receivers and a more effective run game than last year and he's still making all the same errors he made before he had any of those things. McDermott needs to emphasize that Allen needs to stop turning the ball over or his job is on the line. The defense is too good to have a QB turning the ball over the way Allen has been this season.
  18. The 2nd interception was the epitome of what Allen needs to do better. Play action, Gore runs an out cut to the left, and the linebacker covering him falls over. Allen looks at Gore, sees that he's wide open, and for whatever reason goes to Jones, and heaves a pass into double coverage. His decision making just doesn't make any sense sometimes.
  19. And on the season it's 97.5. Allen's is 69.6.
  20. Agreed. This team should make the playoffs. They should pretty easily win 10 games given how good their defense is and how easy their schedule is. All I'm saying is the QB play hasn't been good enough. 32nd in the league in QB rating shows that. We look like we're a decent QB away from having a Super Bowl contending team. That's all I'm saying.
  21. This isn't about one game. We've played 4 games. Josh Allen is currently the 32nd ranked QB in the NFL in terms of QB Rating. We're averaging 19 points per game in scoring. That's not good enough.
  22. It's not a joke. Josh Allen is currently the 32nd ranked QB in the NFL in QB Rating.
  23. Not at all. This team had no business losing today. We should be 4-0 and contending for a Super Bowl with how good this defense is.
  24. The Bills held New England's offense to 9 points and we turned the ball over 4 times. The Bills had no business losing today, but they did because their QB couldn't take care of the football.
  25. I'm pretty close to considering Barkley. The rest of our team is elite. We may have the best defense in the NFL. You can't have a starting QB with a QB Rating below 70. If that doesn't pick up by November you need to start considering a switch for the sake of the other guys on the team. How about he stops throwing passes down the middle of the field into double coverage. That would help.
