That would be a giaaaant leap for any rookie to come off of IR and surpass what Lorax is doing out there. Take it slow with Shaq and let him feel his way onto the field. Can anyone explain why Lorax is still running down the field on ST? He is good at it, I get it...but the depth behind him is non existent.

Greg Bedard is breaking down the game on a local Boston station. He gave Rex a ton of credit, saying that some of the play calls were so good he could have believed the Bills had the Patriots game plan. Said he thinks they may have say Jimmy G. to preserve his trade value because at 75% Rex would have totally exposed him and that would have been the last teams get to see of him with Brady's return. Also gave credit to Woods for making Ryan look so pedestrian, saying he exposed his lack of technique. Flipping his hips, no hand placement on inside releases etc. Gave a little credit to TT saying that his mobility affects the way BB plays more zone than man vs. the Bills. Lastly, gave the oline major props for "man handling" the Patsies upfront and used some other terms I can remember offhand. Also for Patriot deflategate follow up the Pats lead the league with 9 offensive fumbles this season. Hmmm

This is a silly thread, didn't he end his season last year on a similar play? On that play he decided to shoulder the RB and that didn't end so well. I remember calling him stupid...maybe I'm wrong. I'm not a Gilmore defender but you need to be fair, he sucks at tackling...don't get yourself hurt on a needless tackle.

I hope it's not, just guessing what the team would do. The RWS makes keeping both possible but a move like that would have to be made with the acceptance that Ragland/ZB playtime would be limited and with so much bravado in the NFL it seems like a stretch to me.

It's a thread about resigning ZB, that's what I'm talking about. It's going to be a tough call, does the team give him a big contract after investing so much in Ragland? Surely they want Ragland on the field and not being a depth guy, if ZB continues this level of play he won't be accepting a similar contract that he is currently playing under. This thread is exactly that, which good player/players would you keep if you could only have one. The team would most likely ink Gilmore and let ZB go as they just took Ragland.

I don't think Edelman is 100% healthy either, that foot put him down again this summer and as outrageous as the comment originally sounded Edelman sure looked slow afterwards. Zach ran around him and punched out the ball on a later play and Edelman looked like he was in slow motion.

Yeah but this 3-4 Hughes, Brown, Brown, Lorax/Lawson is better than one that includes Rags in the middle. The Brown's compliment eachother well.

You talking about when Lorax slid over the top of him and Blount confronted him? If so, Jacoby didn't slide feet first he went sideways and didn't give himself up which would have made it an easy call.

The team blew a 2nd and two 4th's on Ragland when ZB is a better piece to pair with Preston. I said that the day of the draft, it will be interesting to see what they do if ZB continues to play at this level.

That oline has been decent in pass protection, If we are going to win on the west coast I feel like we are going to have to win that matchup and force mistakes.
